There is no man more homophobic nor more pitiful that a closeted gay man, except possibly a closeted, homophobic, Republican gay man. If the people elected him once and believe in his values, though they are, by their very definition warped, then they might forgive him for being gay. But if he keeps covering himself with dirt there is no chance. Conservatives always think they have to hide who they are unless they exactly fit the straw man the GOP has erected. There are, unfortunately, many gay Republicans just like there are Republican African-Americans. Both, I consider traitors to their own people, but more so the gays since the GOP covers up its racism with conservatism. They come right out and say they hate gay peole even though it is anti-Christian while trying to court fundamentalist Christians. The sheriff needs to come out and say it: Yeah, I am gay. I was born that way and I cannot change that fact. But I am still a conservative bigot just like I was before you all found out. I have the same values. I am the same person.

By the way, there is a state legislator in Georgia who was also outed by his ex partner. He is a Democrat and still surviving. He said it was a relief to finally be able to be open. Georgia also has two openly lesbian state legislators.

I have no problem with the guy being gay, but… Why do Repukes have to hide who they really are? The rule seems to be the more a given Repuke opposes certain behaviors, the more likely that person engages in those very same behaviors. The GOP (Goobers On Parade) Party rides again!

Typical of most Politicians to be so hypercritical. They play off what people want to hear and go off and do what they want, til they get caught. Politics is such a game now, they all say what you want to hear to get in office and then when they do get in; what really changes? Nothing! I’m so sick of hearing of all the wrong that politicians do and get away with. It doesn’t matter what party they are in, they just feed off each other, when election time comes and after the election. Back to being buddies, while alot of the public will continue with the hate that has been instilled.Doesn’t matter which party you’re in. one side will make up lies about the other and the other side will make up lies about them and just depends on how twisted or believable it was said…..Here’s an idea lets make it that a politician would have to drop out of politics if they are caught lying or twisting a story about another candidate. If that happened I’m afraid we wouldn’t have any politicians. Lets spin the wheel and hope for the best. God bless America!
