“The Truth Of The Matter Is, Mitt Can’t Release His Tax Returns”

In this video, James Carville discusses Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s assertion that a Bain investor told him Mitt Romney had paid no income taxes for ten years. “Don’t you just love this Republican response?” he says, adding that he suspects Senator Reid is having the time of his life — because James certainly is.

    Mitt is going to hammered and hammered and hammered on this. It is going to cost him any chance he had to be elected. All those on the fence are going to vote for Barack and a lot of those I would like to vote for Mitt but are going to stay home

    I’m with you. This is just too much fun. Mitt looks like he’s on the ropes and can’t hit back without exposing himself to a knock-out blow. The grace note is that Senator Reid is from Nevada too. The icing on the cake is that he doesn’t plan to run for re-election so he can let loose. My gosh, there is nothing like watching a cautious old man having a go at bungee jumping!

    I had to laugh out loud when Romney told Reid to “put up or shut up” (!!)

    McCain (or his close staff in 2008) is a very good guess since he told all while being considered as McCain’s VP.

    Wasn’t Senator McCain’s criticisim ironic? He actuallly KNOWS what Romney paid pre-2008 when the McCain campaign vetted him for VP. At a minimum, he was briefed on Romney’s CV and any obvious problems with it…

    Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary runs the IRS. The Obama Administration already knows what Mitt Romney has paid in income taxes. If he hadn’t paid income tax for even one year Obama would have had that leaked to the press.

    I appreciate the “FACT” that Majority Leader Harry Reid is serving his Country to the very end of his political career.
    Seems like Romney has been caught…in the ultimate “Social Program”, designed for the elite, “Only”. Income Tax “Evasion” is how we could see it!

    Elite and Wealthy…and continues to hold his hand out for more, at the “Expense” of the American economy and its tax payers.

    Americans should ask themselves and more importantly, ask other Americans…. “When was the last time we, The Middle Class, recieved a 10 year “Tax” exemption from the IRS?

    If Romney isn’t getting a “Handout”, through “LOOPHOLES”…what would you call it?

    I guess some would call it, being “Smart”…”Intellegent”, “Financial Savvy”, “Accomplishment”, “Expertise”…Presidential… perhaps!
