#EndorseThis: Michael Moore Says He’d Prefer A President Pence

Michael Moore painted an optimistic picture for the Democratic party as a guest on Seth Meyers’s Late Night on Thursday.

The liberal filmmaker suggested Democrats dispel the idea that a President Mike Pence would be a worse alternative should Trump be impeached: “Don’t be worried about that. Pence actually believes in things. We can have the great debate with him.”

Before the Dobbs decision. Before Donald Trump’s 91 felony indictments. And before last week, when the state’s GOP voters nominated a guy who favorably quotes Hitler, has compared LGBTQ+ people to insects and larvae, and thinks a six-week abortion ban isn’t quite extreme enough for governor. Tar Heel State Republicans also nominated another extremist, Michele Morrow, for superintendent of the state’s schools.
