I guess you watch too much Fox non news. The tea party has derailed everything Obama tried to do to save the economy. they refused to pass his jobs program and every economist has said we need another stimulus, which the republicans refuse to pass. Mitch McConnell (R) Ken. has made more fillibusters which is a delay tactic, than any other time in history. The Republicans during the debt ceiling fight had the countries credit downgraded for the 1st time in history, which made borrowing by corporations more expensive. so stop watching Fox and listening to Rush, or Beck or Hannity, or Coulter, or Huckabee, or Palin or O’Reiley, and try to get some unfiltered news.
You are going to loose the culture war because every generation is more liberal than the previous one. My offspring in their mid 20′s grew up with gays and don’t understand why you Christians are forcing your sense of morality down their throats. They are not going to give up their right to contraception and are more concerned with climate change than you people who are anti science, and think it’s all a hoax because it’s not in the bible, or maybe you are even hoping it comes so you can have your mythical rapture. The reality is that things change all the time. You choice is either to fight it every inch of the way or realize it will happen no matter what you do. I love your sense of humanity, carinfg for all thses single women who would commit suicide if they had no man to take care of them or that gay/lesbians have some dark psycoligical issues. Everyone has debunked the theory that you can cure someone from being attracted to the same sex. As for younger single women forced to have children they never wanted, they mostly live in poverty. I don’t know where you get that other stat.
Some say you are born with a gene that causes this just like you are born with a gene that can make you obese. I still go back to my statement of why does everyone have to get into the lives of others. If you are living in Idaho for example why would you even care if someone is in a same sex relationship in NYC. It has no impact on your life. Now if you are not totally comfortable in your faith, and something like this rocks your should then the gay person is not the problem. I’ve been around gay people all my life living on the east coast. They for the most part are like everyone else. I know very few married people who are really happy.As for smoking weed I’m a product of the late 60′s and it’s never hurt me. I went on to a susessful career. Alcohol is much worse and causes more death and destruction, spousal abuse, child abuse and low productivity, yet we sell it everywhere, so where is your moral point?

Maybe you and I live in alternative universes. Let’s go back to 2008 before Obama took over and what significant event happened? Well if you said the melt down on Wall st you would be correct. This near collaspe took 1/2 of the wealth and wipped it out. The stock market dropped 600 points, and small business closed, because they couldn’t get financing. Guess who was president? If you say George W Bush you would be correct again. We are still digging out from the near depression we were in. Now if you ask me who ran up the majority of the deficit and where did it come from, I would have to say again it was our former president,GWB. He started 2 unfunded wars, gave an unfunded drug program toseniors and gave a tax cut to the wealthiest, who either hide their money offshore like Romney to avoid taxes, or invested in derivitives, or other financial products. Companies like Haliburton who got a no bid 6 billion contract for Iraq moved it corporate HQ to Dubai, Cisco moved to Ireland and GE built a factory in Brazil, not to be outdone Gates took his tax cut and Built a factory in India . Apple decided to make it’s Cell phones in China. Speaking about China Bush borrowed all the money for Iraq/Afganistan/the drug program and the tax cut from them. The wars cost 1 billion/day.
Now for all you supposedly Christians, during this time 32 million lacked access to health care and out of that number 50k men, women and children died. Funny that wan’t an issue for someone as devout as you, but some one being gay is a tragedy. So let me get this straight, you blame Obama for all this?

We have a different view of what is immorality. I think it is immoral to have 25 billion x 3 families and not give your workers health care benefits, and make them work for just under the minium wage like the Waltons do. I also think it is immoral to hide your wealth outside the country, 250 million that Romney did to avoid taxes. I also think it was immoral to let 32 million lack access to health care and have 50k did each year because of it. I suprised that you find none of these immoral but smoking some MJ or having a gay marriage is. Speaking about Buffon presidents GWB was handed a surplus, then got us into 2 unfunded wars, gave a tax cut to the billionairs who shipped 2.9 million jobs out of the country and then on top of that gave an unfunded drug benefit to seniors. all on borrowed money from China. do you call that smart?

Now coming to the rest of your “wisdom”…what part of my post did suggest even a hint of Racism? Or Xenophobia? Or Sexism? Or Homophobia? Where did I suggest any of these attributes while I put my point across. Why are you Demheads so obsessed with these “qualities” that you accuse the other of these at the first hint of disagreement? In psychology this is called Cognizant Disorder. On a lesser degree this condition is also known as “Bogeyman syndrome”. You attribute motives to your adversary and if there are none, you invent some and discredit your opponent. Let me tell you I am not “white”, nor am I “Christian”. I am just a human being and find pride in being such. I am not forcing my beliefs on you or “others”. It is not a matter of “believing”. It is of being different from savages. It is the spiritual idea that you’ve a superior level of consciousness differentiating you from other planet co-habitants. I would suggest you to get out of this ghetto mentality. Phobia is an irrational fear of something. I do not fear or hate Homos or Lesbians. I pity them. They suffer from a deep personality disorder, a disease that is curable given the right circumstances and proper mix of medicine as well as psychological treatment. We Americans have taken this to the absurd levels of “Progressivism”. Just as I pity women whose best achievement is seeking for themselves the free pills and free abortion. As per a recent paper in NATURE magazine, May,12 issue, husbandless mothers are most likely to commit suicide. What a bastardize nation are we seeking to achieve and leave as legacy for our progeny? I am not overly believer, only moderately so. I respect your choice to be an atheist or whatever. That is not my point. My point is that in your zeal to look “progressive” and “liberal”, you are destroying the very ethos of humanity, the very fabric of our evolutionary enlightened making, that in your view is “backward ideals”. Make no mistake my dear, your “forward” looking and “modern” ideals are nothing but a cloak to undress your consciousness, your humanity and give a free reign to the animal that resides inside you. This is evolution which you creationists in red states don’t understand. We started with neandethal clans that only married each other. Then we moved to religions that only married each other.Then we move to races which only married each other. Then we moved to inter religious marriage, then to inter racial marriage and now to same sex marriage. I’m white but realize that there are racist, homophobic people that live in the deep south and mid west. I really don’t care if you in the boondocks of this country have backward ideals. You can keep white christian marriages, but the country around you is changing. If you don’t like the changes stay where you are, but don’t force your will on others. That is called tyranny, which is forcing your beliefs on to others. So keep it all to yourselves and saty in your red states where racism, homophobia, sexism,and xenophobia thrive and stay out of the Blue states where we all get along.
