Good morning, Land! Just got your message. We do agree. There does have to be a happy medium. What that happy medium is is what the ongoing debate is about. With the decline in employment and the departure of American companies overseas, I’d say the pendulum is clearly swung a bit too far into the “discourage business” category. Remember, businesses are made up of people that care about clean air and water as much as you and I do. They have families and children and are consumers just like you and I. Yes, there are unscrupulous people in all walks of life, but most people are decent and good people. Heavy regulatory burdens really only benefits politicians and bureaucrats and make us think it’s OK for them to take more of our money.

I meant if Romney is elected he has already said he will do away with rules and regulations that protect consumers and the enviroment and will help business interests. I think we can both agree there has to be a happy medium where businesses are not over burdened by regulations but not at the expense of consumer safety and the enviroment.
