Joe Conason On 'Jansing And Co.' [Video]

A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll has been making making waves over the past 48 hours due to the bleak picture that it paints of the Republican presidential primary.

According to the poll, four in 10 adults say that the GOP nominating process has given them a less favorable view of the party, compared to just over one in 10 whose image of the party has improved. Furthermore, when asked to describe the Republican race, nearly 70 percent of respondents — including 60 percent of independents — used a negative phrase such as “discouraged,” “depressed,” or “lesser of two evils.”

National Memo Editor-in-Chief Joe Conason stopped by “Jansing and Co.” yesterday morning to discuss the poll, Super Tuesday, and more.
