Late Night Roundup: Feeling The Bern

One political story was the talk of all the late night shows: The news that Bernie Sanders has overtaken Hillary Clinton in a poll of the New Hampshire primary.

Larry Wilmore asked: “Is this happening again? A candidate of passion is about to overtake Hillary? She’s about to get Obama’ed by an old white man?!?”

Larry also interviewed his show’s recurring Clinton campaign “official” Carlos Jordanson, who tried to present their new slogan: “Hasn’t America had enough excitement for a while?” The problem, though, was that he kept getting too excited about Bernie.

Conan O’Brien said of the poll: “So screw those emails from when she was Secretary of State — I want to see the emails Hillary sent out this morning okay?”

Seth Meyers remarked: “It’s the first anyone’s ever been passed by a guy in a Prius.”
