As a former Republican and now Independent, having voted for Obama and now truly disenchanted with the whole US Political Body, I am at a loss for ideas/solutions for our predicament here in the USA. There is no such thing as INTEGRITY anymore, everyone just makes the rules up as they go along. We justify our actions, no matter right or wrong. AMNESTY was a mistake in 1985 because it had unintended consequences. HISPANICS for the most part do not assimilate into the American culture and this causes division, not good for the unity of a nation. ENGLISH is the language of the land and for citizenship or to stay here it should be MANDATORY, PERIOD for all immigrants, not overnight but within a reasonable amount of time. I am all for embracing our Latino brothers and sisters, but let’s do it right this time, don’t do it to make a buck for the businesses, do it for the PEOPLE to have a better quality of life… and NO WELFARE… like other immigrants, make them get a SPONSOR, we cannot afford FREELOADERS from any nation, TEACH THEM HOW TO FISH, GIVE THEM SELF ESTEEM, IT WILL SOLVE THE CRIME TOO, these people are treated like garbage!
