Explain the real reason this is happening: Climate Change/Global Warming. The largest infestation of an species in human history has occurred. The tine Pine bark beetle has infested almost every forest of the western US and Canada and is eating their way through every lodgepole pine over millions of acres. This has seen the biggest dieback of evergreen forests in history. Now they are all dead and standing, waiting to burn. They can no longer hold huge amounts of moisture, so they are going to go up like a tinder box. All caused by an increase in winter temperatures. The Pine Bark beetle is killed in sub zero temperatures. As the west warms each winter the infestation continued to Biblical proportions to what it is today. This is a tragedy for people who will lose land and houses and also for ranchers and loggers who will lose productive lands. It is devastating to the ecosystem of course killing the plethora of species that depend upon the lodgepole pine, even such larger scale mammals as Grizzly and black bear and countless other species.

Should we continue to listen to Repbulican’s message which is climate change is not happening and or not caused by man or not do anything because it costs too much? Or deny the science? We are being lead by idiots in the shirt of republicanism. It we do nothing to drastically reduce CO2 emissions we are going to see a transformation of our West like no one will ever recognize. Say good bye to many of the National Parks, Forests and wonders of our west, say hello to massive draughts, fires, flooding and loss of habitat.
