Also, please don’t fall for the “common sense” claptrap of these articles. They are clearly biased and call only opinions in line with theirs “common sense” while anything else is extreme right nonsense, etc. Again, around half this country does not think further gun legislation is the answer. That can’t be extreme, by definition. If you want real solutions you and others should be looking at the options that do not take rights from our fellow Americans first, and only looking to restrict those rights as a last resort. There is MUCH to be done before we get to that point, so there’s no sense accusing your political opponents of aggressive tactics or extremism when it’s their rights, not yours (well, yours as well, but you choose not to use them – your choice and nobody wants to take that from you…) at stake. And don’t bring “kids are dead so those rights must go” into this. That’s a naive argument and unfair to the families who lost loved ones, and the dead themselves. Let’s work together to find solutions.
