Harm from one GMO crop would prove nothing about any other GMO crop. Only the doctrine of “vitalism” would hold a natural mutation harmless and an intentional one harmful when science says the opposite.

With no proven harm from “GMO” and no proven benefit from “organic”, why label at all? “GMO”, “organic” or “Kosher” labels indicate the belief structure of the producer.

Kosher producers would not expect a “not kosher!” label but “organic” producers do expect a “not organic!” label. Only organic producers have any reason to avoid GMO sources.

Rather than argue fact, organic producers spread allegations and hope for enough fear to require GMO labeling. Popular does not mean true. Most Americans dismiss climate change, a 4+ Billion year old Earth, a 13+ Billion year old universe and evolution while believing biblical creation and a talking snake.

Food processors with hundreds of ingredients and dozens of sources for each might label everything GMO, sue for a content threshold below which labeling is not required (as is for the organic label) and then lie about percentages or merely lie from the start.

Truthful GMO labeling (at a cost passed on to the consumer) would cover practically every available food product with only niche organics excluded.

Consumers would not avoid the GMO products any more than they avoid non-organic products today.

With respect to a National Conference; the Attendees, along with their Leadership, would look at the possibility of creating a New Economy, based, maybe, on a Pledge of if Fidelity, Trust, and Honor in all Social, Economic, and Political Relationships. The Pledge could be posted everywhere! Violate the Pledge, and you are gone! Meaning, you are free to return to the old Economy dominated by Extractors, Rent Seekers, and Thieves. No second changes. If you really have no interest in Fidelity to a New America – - based on the Values that once made this Country Great; don’t sign The Pledge!

Regional Economies could be created based on the common economic interests of the People in the Regions. Yes, the effort would be a challenge; similar to what the Greatest Generation made during the Great Depression; and following WWII. One has to Crawl before Walking; and Walk before Running; and, it would be a challenge of monumental proportions.

Regionally, everything would be produced and manufactured in One of the newly formed Regional Economies. Lot’s of empty manufacturing, warehouse, and store front space.

Lot’s of empty Store Fronts; lot’s of People without jobs; or, unhappy with the ones they have. Certain Economic Activities could be created, as, Non-Profits. At least services would be provided, and jobs created in the all Regions. Think Banks and Credit Card to start.

Where might the Start-Up Money come from? We try to bring in Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, and others – - including the Deep Pocket Chinese. If the Legacies of Gates and Buffet are important to them; they would have the opportunity to leave a Legacy behind, as Sterling as the Founding Fathers. Libertarian Types, like Ron Paul and Son; Gary Johnson, and others – - like, Tom Coburn; could all be invited, and consulted. So much more needs to be discussed; but time and space limit that luxury. THIS CAN BE DONE! The Rich want an Economic Re-Set – - let’s give them one! It would build Trust and Cooperation among the People in the Regions; and rekindle Patriotism. It would also be a way to devolve Power and Money away from Washington; and weaken the Strangle Hold, the Dark Money Cartels have on Washington. Isn’t this just the kind of innovation and creativity, that the GOP is seeking? Folks, I bet there are many, many, unemployed College Grads that would be excited to be involved in a Major New Initiative, like this one. Many, many people would be excited to establish a New America, based on God’s Moral Absolutes; and a chance to develop and hone, a New Set of Values based on something other than the acquisition of STUFF! and it’s accompanying Credit Card Debt; which, has ruined Families, and this Country; for that matter. What better way to influence and control our Food Supply; and, with a degree of Civility in the way people deal with each other, in All aspects of Societal Interaction.
