On the one hand, you claim to support wealth redistribution, and on the other you say wealth redistibution is not socialist. What planet do you live on? By definition, socialists seek equality of results through redistribution of wealth and control over economic behavior. You also maintain some sort of fantasy that the masterminds in government can somehow be the arbiter of all that is fair and just. HA! They are the biggest crooks going. And you are stupid enough to believe that giving them the power to take your (and mine) earnings for their so-called charitable ends of redistributing those earnings to those whom they themselves deem worthy is somehow a good idea. You claim that taxes are a good thing because they finance the military, but then seem to gloss over the fact that the military IS, in fact, the primary purpose of the federal government. In these discussions, you claim the right of taxation for the military, but then lump into the topic socialist programs and ideals as though they are one in the same . They are NOT the same. The debate is not over whether or not we have taxes, you moron. The debate is over what the proper role of the Federal Government is in America according to the Constitution.
