POLL: Americans Say Obama Strikes Right Balance on Israel

50% of Americans say the president is “striking the right balance” on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, a slight uptick from April, according to a new Pew poll. There had been speculation that in light of his recent speech on the peace process–which conservatives misleadingly argued as a call for Israel to retreat without negotiation–Mr. Obama’s approval on this issue would plummet, especially among Jews.
