With Ryan on the ticket this should be real interesting. I am not that sure that Romney and he are on the same page. I can envision Romney saying that he hires the best man for the job, but that brings Bain up again. It will be interesting to hear the Ryan debates where he outlines and defends his math, particularly the level of defense spending. If he doesn't lower it will that mean the republicans are planning another war? Golly what if the republicans pitch Romney at the convention and nominate Ryan!

Co-sign! And the "increase your take home pay" line was just weird and I think is more a promise for tax cuts than actually increasing wages of those that actually have to work for a living.

I also firmly believe that given the opportunity Mitt and Paul will lead the way to the destruction of the middle class.

Like I say the new GOP slogan is "The Republican Party Overseeing The End Of The Middle Class in A Quick and Orderly Manner"

Dave_dildo... I love it how you leftist nutjobs back off your own committment to class warfare and envy when it's thrown back in your faces. What a joke that you say you're not envious! Of course you are. By definition, you would NOT be a leftist freak if you did not view the world through the lenses of victimhood and the Holy Trinity of the Left: Race, Gender, Class. It's your religion.

To answer your stupid question requires a complete suspension of logic and reason because one would have to believe that there has been established a Utopia on earth where the lower class or poor class have been given everything they need to live well. In which case, THERE IS NO EXAMPLE to cite because utopia does not and cannot exist on earth. Look at the places it's been tried. They are all either on the garbage heap of history or are destined for it. And oddly enough, and I know much to your chagrin, that in those places the wealth disparity is at it's greatest. The elite ruling class are super rich, and the masses are dirt poor and miserable with ZERO oportunity to alter their situations. Those governments don't get "overthrown" per se. Rather, they implode on themselves.

The real debate, Dave, is over what is the proper role of the Fed Government in America today. What does the Constitution say that the role of the Fed is? If you don't like what it says, there's an amendment process built into it. That's how you change it. Not by executive order or magical judicial interpretation based upon personal belief.

Good discussion, Dave.

Have a nice weekend!

the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."

What people don't understand is the fact that Mitt Romney in one way people try to emulate in business. In a President it is what we despise he is way to secretive, evasive, and just flat our a LIAR. When Mitt get caught doing things wrong it's not his fault, when he goes to foreign lands and insults our Allies and chastise the Palestinians, he takes back what he says. We despise the fact the BUCK STANDS WERE? To be presidential you must take responsibility for your actions and words. He straight out LIED to ABC-news about taking a look at his taxes. Now he refuses to release his taxes which makes every one with a brain wonder what he is hiding. That is what we despise in the character of Mitt the twit

I know that Mr. Obozo is the expert on everything, so I do hesitate to take issue with him, but I would like to point out the flaws in his solutions for the healthcare dilemma.
He says that we should make health insurance work like car insurance. He says that car insurance is cheap. How many of you out there think that car insurance is cheap?
He says car insurance is highly competitive across state lines. I'm not sure what he means by this, but if you live in Indiana you have to buy your car insurance in Indiana- you have to buy a policy that conforms with Indiana insurance law.Same as health insurance, Obozo. Maybe he meant that you can buy from a company that sells in California and Arizona and Utah and all over the country. Same as health insurance, Mr Ob. An example is United Health Care- they sell health insurance all over the country. There are others. How has this kept costs down?
He says that with car insurance you can buy catastrophic coverage or "complex" plans with low deductibles. Very true Mr.O- same as health insurance as it currently exists-you can buy catastrophic coverage or a Cadillac plan or many plans in between with all kinds of deductibles and copays and coinsurances. In fact health insurance offers just as many options as car insurance . It's been this way for a long time.
He says car insurance rates are determined by variables like your geography, the kind of car you drive, and your driving record, in short, your PERSONAL INDIVIDUAL risk profile (sounds like Flo, huh?) . This is also just like health insurance. Health rates are determined by geography and what kind of health you're in, your sex, age, smoking status sometimes, height and weight, what meds you take.I guess one could call it a PERSONAL INDIVIDUAL risk profile. I don't see any difference here between auto and health ins, Mr.O.
He says if we keep the government out we will see costs come down. But private health insurers have managed to raise rates out of site without any government involvement .Their rate increases have far outstripped the rate of inflation in the U.S. and they come year after year after year.
Next , he says the government will ration healthcare. Funny, I haven't heard any complaints from seniors about rationing in Medicare- a government plan. In fact, seniors seem to like their government plan. Also, have any of you out there ever heard of a private insurer rationing healthcare? Seems to me not long ago 60 minutes did a feature about a woman whose job was to deny claims for an insurance company. Can you say HMO,PPO, formulary drug, experimental procedure and gatekeeper, Mr. O?
Next ,Obozo says there is no mandate for him to own a car so no one is forcing him to buy car insurance. This is a true statement. So, Mr. O, if you can guarantee me that you will never use a doctor or hospital or chiropractor or health clinic, we'll let you opt out.( This also means that you must have been born at home without a professional midwife) Actually, Mr O, we'll even let you opt out of Obamacare. That's right- no one is going to force you to buy health ins under Obamacare. We're just going to ask you to pay a small fee,a tax if you will, just on the outside chance that you do use a healthcare facility someday- just so you won't be a financial burden on the rest of us. It's a small amount- just $90/yr, and know what? we probably won't enforce it anyway. So what's the big fuss?Mr.O is probably a 1%er(if not, he's a fool) so what's $90? A 4-hr visit to the emergency room will cost you $5,000, so I'd say $90 is a bargain. Or would you rather have the rest of us pick up your tab, Mr.O?
On second thought maybe Mr. Obozo is not so smart after all. Maybe he should start posting on some teen magazine where he can get away with his Tea Party delusions and not be called on it. Not here, Mr.O. Not here. You only display your ignorance.
