Here’s my question re: (And to anyone aware that Romney avoided Vietnam-era military service through a Mormon missionary posting in France, his nonchalant slurring of courageous public servants was especially unbecoming.) Which branch of the service did Obama serve? Army? Navy? I don’t seem to remember that he served AT ALL! Not even the boy scouts!

He only needs to talk the stupid republikans into giving him control of the house and then we can really start to get some social changes done to this country. Changes that are too slow in coming…
I think there should be a law against free speech for a start, then the muslims wouldn’t get offended and they would stop hating us. They just don’t like the way we are so ignorant to their ways, so if we make it so that people can’t say things that will make them angry, everything will be all right. So lets make a law against free speech and maybe we should stop liking the jews as well, because muslims don’t like them at all, so if we want the muslims to like us we have to stop liking the jews. That makes sense to me.. It’s not hard to understand what we have to do to get along. It’s us that has to change…

A ridiculous essay. Romney was absolutely right: the State Department (and Obama himself) pretended that the attack was a spontaneous reaction to the stupid video (which, by the way, Romney didn’t defend) and that they had no intel in advance that the consulate was likely to be attacked, nor intel while the attack was going on about who was doing it and how organized and armed they were, nor assets close by that could have intervened. The usual Obama-ite pretense that Islamist terrorists don’t exist. Then, having politicized the event to exonerate himself, he accused Romney of politicizing it by pointing out these maneuvers.
As for Romney’s avoiding military service, just what heroic military actions did Obama experience?

Nothing to apologies for. Obama did nothing and people died. period They could have saved them and they chose not to. 7 hours the were attacked military help was only 1-2 hours away.

Mitt’s arrogance, his lack of diplomacy, over confidence and obstinacy in not admitting his mistakes/wrongs and blatant insensitivity to and unfounded criticism of the US foreign policies and happenings around the world contributed to his downfall in his campaign to capture the White House. Well, I just hope that he learned this bitter lesson. Outright prejudice against his opponents’ performance must have impacted and corrupted his mind far more seriously than affected his heart.
