SC Post and Courier: Gov. Nikki Haley Endorses Marco Rubio

According to The Post and Courier, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley — whose endorsement decision has been eagerly awaited by nearly every Republican presidential candidate in the run up to Saturday’s primary — will formally endorse Marco Rubio’s bid for the party’s nomination at a town hall tonight at 6pm.

Only Donald Trump knew for certain that he was out of the running for Haley’s endorsement, after her response to President Obama’s State of the Union address included some strong language rebuking Trump’s positions on immigration.

Marco Rubio has been polling in third place recently in South Carolina, behind Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. This endorsement might give him the momentum he needs to go into the Nevada causes — and after that, the yuge Super Tuesday March 1 votes — with some momentum.
