  1. Jim Myers says:

This has to be the dream of the Koch brothers, Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michele Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Paul Ryan, and all the scum on the extreme right.

Clearly, the lives of poor and middle class people mean little or nothing to them, other than the labor they can exploit, and the money and power they can extract.

If they have their way, the United States WILL become a third rate country, with only an extremely powerful class of the rich and an extremely benign class of the poor.

  2. Allan Richardson says:

That’s the corporate one percent mentality. At least they salvaged the workstations! And the hundreds of children killed at work are replaceable. They breed like rabbits over there, right? (Or so the business men would say.)

A similar tragedy in 1900 in New York (the burning of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory while over 100 workers were LOCKED inside to prevent theft of merchandise) led to worker protection legislation and the rise of legal labor unions. Our corporate overlords not having FINISHED taking American workers back to 1900, they moved the jobs to a country whose workers ARE still living in 1900 conditions.

Do not buy from companies who have their clothing made in such appalling conditions.
