		<description><![CDATA[Walmart reports its earnings for the last quarter are down a bit.  The stock market is doing fine due to sustained growth, albeit slowly.  The Walmart figures show that for the lower income demograhics times may indeed still be hard.  The new normal is going to be with us for many years to come no matter the results of November&#039;s election.  Mitt has made the asinine claim that he will add 12 million jobs.  Demand, or more correctly lack of it, is the driving force in today&#039;s economy.  People are spending less, saving more if possible and paying off debt.  Pie in sky and such hyperbole is not going to accomplish anything for the Walmart shoppers.]]></description>
