There was once this place called Rome. It had an army 2nd to none. They looted the (known) world, bringing “booty” back to the home territory. They became proud & lazy, as it’s soldiers & citizens were better @fighting than making/keeping peace. Every 1 looked to Rome as an example of the ‘high-life’ society & immigrated there (or close by). There were also these “Huns” who were quite the nuisance, eventually sacking & robbing & essentially laying waste to a once great empire… If any of this sounds strangely familiar, wake up family, friends & strangers & tell them to vote Liberal/Progressive & be ready to battle for this Democracy! The money must go & conservatives won’t do it. If Liberal/Progressives don’t, we’ll have to elect ourselves. The blueprint of how this all works is here B4 us. But quitting & letting corporations & the wealthy take us over w/out so much as even faux resistance isn’t the answer…

The shareholders may inquire (after the fact) and be thoroughly ignored unless said shareholder happens to be named Gates or Buffett.

Is it not possible for a corporation’s shareholders to inquire of the extent of the corporation’s “charitable contributions” — as well as the nature of the recipients?

Our democracy is up for sale to the highest bidder. Foreign money like funds from China will be flowing like a spring. The loosers are the poor & middleclass. The winners are big corporations!

What really scares me is should Romney win, God forbid, what he owes in favors to all these money givers. It will be more tax breaks for the rich, which he will defend saying that tax breaks will give us more jobs. Well, I’m still waiting for these jobs.

Heres a couple of words for you that describe what Citizens United has done to our election process:
oligarchy – meaning “a few”, and ἄρχω (archo), meaning “to rule or to command”)[1][2][3] is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate, or military control.
plutocracy – from Ancient Greek ploutos, meaning “wealth”, and kratos, meaning “power, rule”) is rule by the wealthy, or power provided by wealth.
Now, I guess all you republicans want to be ruled by the wealthy and powerful instead of, “of the people, by the people and for the people.”

We need to stop this disgusting practice now, before it’s to late for our country!!!!

The whole idea of what the Supreme Court has done is sickening. The one entity that was supposed to be apolitical, completely objective and impartial is now corrupt too.

We remember with shame the days of slavery when people were bought and sold, well it’s still going on, it’s just that corporate owned slaves live a lot better than the ones on the plantations did. It’s still shameful, but if there’s enough money in it some people know no shame.
