The intenet has been an oasis of mockery in this off-the-walls presidential campaign, most of it in the form of jabs at Donald Trump, the GOP nominee.

The meme du jour is #BetterPotusCandidates. Some of the sentiment is sincere, including many calls for a Bernie Sanders presidency. The majority is, however, hilarious wishful thinking by Twitter-ers who would like to see a fictional candidate run for President:
