Jimmy Kimmel knows how to make the most of a Trump tweet, especially when the president rips him and his colleagues — as in “the three very weak and untalented late night hosts are fighting over table scraps,” a reference to their nightly routines mocking him.

Kimmel took exception. “This idea of us fighting over table scraps? Not a great metaphor. It’s more like a hometown buffet in hell; it’s like, you get all the crab legs you can eat, but you can never stop eating them. They just keep coming. That’s what it’s like.”

Trump jumped ugly on Beto O’Rourke, too, and so did Pat Robertson, aged host of The 700 Club — described by Jimmy as “700 years old and the only member of the club.”
