Careful, the last time they panicked it took another 86 days to free the hostages from Iran and before that there was the Watergate fiasco but those pail before the desperate days of panic in Novemebr of 63. Panic doesn’t work well for the republicans any more than loyalty as their “real” American heritage is supposed be.

Those who are die-hard republicans will vote for Romney no matter what but it will help if us, who see through the maliscious intentions of these new brand of republicans…(they are so unlike the republicans of just a decade ago…pre-chenney-carl rove era) will make sure those independent voters are adequately informed. It is amazing to see how die-hard republicans are getting by without taking their eyes off FOX NEWS and those extremist bloggers of the conservative rights. Posting here is fine but aren’t we are just talking among each others and would not make a dent to change the minds of those who are not informed? Let’s get out and dissiminate this infos…to our friends and engage them. I said this because in my community of retired people their eyes and ears are tuned in with the anti-abortionists and tea partiers’ talk of cutting government and paying debt at the expense of the working people of America. Let’s move and tackle this problem before August…email, email, email, engage, engage, engage the un-engaged yet voting Americans. They are so innert they care less if they are getting duped.

Fraud by individual voters is both irrational and extremely rare. Most citizens who take the time to vote offer their legitimate signatures and sworn oaths with the gravitas that this hard-won civic right deserves. Even for the few who view voting merely as a means to an end, however, voter fraud is a singularly foolish way to attempt to win an election. Each act of voter fraud risks five years in prison and a $10,000 fine – but yields at most one incremental vote. The single vote is simply not worth the price.

Because voter fraud is essentially irrational, it is not surprising that no credible evidence suggests a voter fraud epidemic. There is no documented wave or trend of individuals voting multiple times, voting as someone else, or voting despite knowing that they are ineligible. Indeed, evidence from the microscopically scrutinized 2004 gubernatorial election in Washington State actually reveals just the opposite: though voter fraud does happen, it happens approximately 0.0009% of the time. The similarly closely-analyzed 2004 election in Ohio revealed a voter fraud rate of 0.00004%. National Weather Service data shows that Americans are struck and killed by lightning about as often.
