This is what Willard Mitt Romney vows he will repeal:

Insurance companies can't take away your coverage if you become too sick.
You cannot be denied insurance coverage because of a pre-existing condition.
Seniors receive a 50 percent discount on prescription drugs when they hit the "donut hole."
Small businesses get tax credits to purchase insurance.
There are no more lifetime limits on your coverage.
15 million more people will receive coverage because of expanded access to Medicaid.
Millions of Americans are going to receive tax credits to help them get insurance--people who wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise.
12 million seniors are currently receiving free preventative care through Medicare.
Insurance companies can no longer call being a woman a "pre-existing condition"
Insurance companies can no longer charge women extra for their vagina.

Repeal away Republicans, but I don't think your constituents will appreciate it.

The reason the GOP opposes the world standard is obvious: in the rest of the industrialized world, private health insurance corporations (the middlemen) play at most very modest and closely-regulated role in the health care delivery system. In the US, private corporations dominate the health care system and dictate terms to the people's representatives (our legislators). The well-protected corporate profits earned in this role are enormous.
The greatest defect in Clinton-care, Romney-care and Obama-care is the protection afforded to this vast, entirely unproductive corporate featherbed, but the GOP is loathe to see even the least encroachment on this business model. It's not only the threat to multi-million-dollar compensation for their health-insurance friends that alarms the GOP, but the possibility that Americans might see the benefit of taking corporate free-loaders off people's backs in other vital service.
Remember the embarrassment of Enron? Remember how the deregulation of electrical energy markets turned out so badly for customers, for workers, for investors and retirees as "The Smartest Guys in the Room" manipulated the price of this vital service and took investors and consumers both on a ride off a cliff...while George Bush's free-market-friendly "regulators" looked the other way?

Years ago Mitt explained his health care program in an interview with Robert Siegel of NPR: "Under my administration, Americans will be allowed to buy any health insurance they choose." That's it, it hasn't changed, and since Americans already were free to buy any health care they chose (provided that some insurer would offer it to them - you've seen those signs tacked onto utility poles? The ones that say, "Health Insurance: $100 per month. Call XXX-XXXX? - and that they could afford the price tag) it's perfectly fair for Mitt to claim that, without even having yet stood for election he has already "solved" the whole health care problem. The GOP solution is in place now, in full effect. The fact that it isn't working for tens of millions of Americans is just their own gosh darned fault (and that's the part of the GOP plan for which Modest Mitt is charmingly reluctant to take credit).

Rep Terry is emblematic of the problem within the GOP. They are talking big these days about trying to accomplish something positive regarding health care. Just where in the hell have they been for decades and decades? Should we take him at his words? 'There are going to lots of ideas. We have have to accept them all.' Really Terry???

It is time to stop the obstruction and accept the decision of the Supreme Court. After all they put all of their eggs in the basket of rejection. It did not work, so it is way past time to work with the Democrats and improve the ACA. There was nothing in the Courts decision that disallows working to make the law better.

Fact is that they have offered nothing except more of the old status quo and the old canard that America has the best health care system in the world. You have to be delusional or brain dead to actually believe such a distortion of reason, reality and factual information.
The Roberts court has given the country the green light to proceed in the grand effort to improve the lives of our fellow citizens and finally begin to join the rest of the industrial world in caring for its citizens. Why the GOP is so dead set against such an ideal is beyond me.

Could be that John Roberts may have inadvertently saved GOP butt. If the roughly 33 million Americans that suddenly have health insurance because of the ACA, were to have lost it, you know which party would have been blamed for that in November.

That's an interesting premise in any event. You 30-35 million Americans that have insurance due to Obamacare...........we're going to take that away; vote Republican!

How do you run on that?
