16 Charities Cancel Mar-a-Lago Events After Trump Defends White Supremacists

Palm Beach Daily News reports that a whopping 16 charities are refusing to hold previously scheduled events at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump’s comments in defense of white supremacists after the Charlottesville terror attack have made him radioactive across the political spectrum.

The local outlet confirms that of all charities contacted with events scheduled at Mar-a-Lago, only five have agreed to go through with them. Four are either undecided or haven’t yet responded to requests for comments.

The names of charities that have pulled out are listed below. Palm Beach Daily News will be updating its website with additional names should more confirm they’re pulling out or return requests for comment.

After i lost my previous job six months ago, i’ve had luck to find about this superb website that was a life saver… make $85 every hour and get paid at the end of each week …They offer online home-based work. My last month check after working with them for 3 months was $12000… Amazing thing about it was that only requirement for the job is basic typing and reliable internet…

Hit him where it will hurt the most. After all, that is why he sought to be President, he found a whole new way to rob people.

Going forward after he is removed from office his so called business empire will collapse. Everyone knows now he can’t be trusted and this experiment messing with our democracy must end. The only future awaiting him is less time on the golf course and more time in court and eventually prison

Please list the names of those charities who will continue to book events at Mar-a-Lago. I will actively work against any contributions to these so-called charities. If they can afford the costs of having meetings, dinners, etc. at the shoddiest, no-taste hotel in Florida, these charities do not need my dollars. BTW, check out the overhead on any charity. If more than 80% goes to overhead, do not donate. Eighty cents of every dollar goes to salaries, travel, advertising, etc.

What a great idea by the way…here is what I found from Washington Post:
“So far, we know of two.The Palm Beach Police Foundation — whose Policeman’s Ball is one of Mar-a-Lago largest events — is “continuing with its plans” to hold the gala there again in 2017, spokeswoman Maureen O’Sullivan said Sunday.
The same is true for the Palm Beach County Republican Party, which has held its annual Lincoln Day dinner at Mar-a-Lago since 2013. “We have no plans to switch venues,” the party’s chairman, Michael Barnett, wrote Sunday.

It makes very angry that my small donations (all I can afford) would go to Trumps business and for people are enjoying lavish dinners etc, on my dollar.
