If Trump had a case, don’t you think his highly paid lawyers would have raised this issue?

Judge Curiel has, from what I have read, made two decisions that Trump is complaining about. First, Trump’s lawyers made a motion for summary judgment, which is a standard defensive maneuver, and Trump insists that the motion should have been granted, and this proves the judge’s bias. But for Judge Curiel to grant that motion, he would have to rule that even if the plaintiffs proved every factual allegation they have made, they would have no case against Trump as a matter of law, and any lawyer with any sense at all knows that ruling could never stand up on appeal. Second, Judge Curiel ordered the Trump University training materials released to the press. He did so after a motion by members of the press, and if he had refused to release the materials, his decision would have been appealed, and almost certainly reversed on appeal. So basically, Trump’s argument is: “You should have ruled the way I wanted you to, because I’m Donald Trump, and because you didn’t do what I wanted, you are biased and hate me.”
