So they will spend time on this baseless nonsense – a conspiracy theory that has made it clear that the President is not only nuts but unable to spell three letter words – but not the obvious Russian ownership of Trump

Putin was head of the KGB and the FSB. He knows quite well who can be groomed and how to do it. My question is: Why did he groom trump? What will be the pay off.

The weakening of NATO and revenge for the destruction of the USSR.

Both NATO and Obama chastised Russia for their actions in the Ukraine and Crimea. It smelled so much like Hitler when he took over Czechoslovakia. These countries also have oil.

Like I said, I don’t think Putin’s goal was necessarily to elect Trump as most everyone believes, I think it was to assure HRC would not be elected.. Had another Republican bumped Trump (pick any of the runners) I think Putin’s influence would have still existed. Since it was Trump then having done business with him in the past, he and Trump simply grew even closer. He will conduct Trump until the system ousts him and although the damage would have already been done, Putin will return to the background and deny everything.

I just read a book, written by a man who spent 20 years in Russia, named, “The Hacking of America.” Putin was head of the KGB and later the FSB. The author was acquainted with another former member of the KGB. He says Putin knows exactly what he is doing and what kind of personality he can groom. He uses people. His attacks in Crimea and Ukraine looks, very much, like he is trying to restore the USSR. If it were only Hillary, that would be the limit of his interference in elections. However, he is doing the same thing in France and Germany and he is helping the right wing candidates. It is easy to see trump is the type of person you can flatter and purchase.

Hard to argue with you there.. Meanwhile the pubs waive off the implication and the many high officials who have all but laid out the facts on this Trump/Putin thing yet go gung ho over a Blightbart fart misquote from a has been media hound about an ex-president doing something that everyone knows he had no authority to do in the first place.. Spend more millions crucifying Obama.. Give Trumpinstein yet another pass.Republicans are truly this nation’s enemies.

Be careful what you wish for. Trump has painted himself into a corner. His only hope to get out of that corner is for the committee to find that there was surveillance of the Trump campaign by President Obama during the election, and that is highly unlikely. More likely is illegal surveillance by the Trump campaign of Hillary Clinton’s campaign or Russian surveillance of both the Trump and Clinton campaigns. Trump has potentially opened Pandora’s Box,

You’re right! They probably were wiretapping him cause of Russia. Raised a Red Flag!

      1. idamag March 8, 2017

But they still had to convince the DOJ with enough evidence to proceed or it wouldn’t happen.

          This is bigger than Watergate.????

    2. Dapper Dan March 8, 2017

Even if he’s painted himself into a corner there should be a window behind him he can jump out of from the top floor ????

From your lips to God’s ears.

They’ll find out he was bein wiretapped cause they had probable cause of illegal activity.

If he was, it was because there was enough evidence to show illegal activity.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the same lawmakers that are reluctant to investigate Trump’s relationship with Russia, and the calls/visits made by some of his staff to the Russian embassy in Washington, are wasting no time to investigate our first Black President because The Donald accused him of doing something a President does not have the authority or ability to order. A request for a FISA order is generally made by law enforcement or intelligence agencies to a judge, who determines whether or not there is potential criminal activity ongoing to warrant wire tapping. The only explanation I can think of is that Trump is aware of things that went on at the Trump Tower, and suspects that somebody was listening in, instead of realizing that the entity that was being monitored was the Russian embassy, and his spies got caught when they called that institution to make deals with the Kremlin.

And the rest of us are not sure that anyone in the current administrative staff can be trusted.

      1. idamag March 9, 2017

I am with you on that, too. I don’t trust most of the people in Congress. While we weren’t looking they were busy chipping away at the foundations of Democracy. I wonder whose idea it was to remove civics from the school curriculum.

    Zzzzzzzzzz…
It takes them weeks, and endless political pressure, and new scandals, to agree to a Russia investigation after 17 Intelligence agencies say they have evidence of something there….
It takes 5 mins to agree to investigate a Twitter accusation against the previous President with no evidence whatsoever…

    Hypocrites.
Since it’s now open season on previous Presidents, does that mean we can finally force Bush and Cheney to testify separately to a special investigator, force them to turn over the 22 million emails they “lost” on their private RNC email server, and try them for War Crimes???

Sometimes the old Ronald Reagan commandment “Thou shalt speak no ill against a fellow Republican” gets carried too far, especially by toadies out to curry the favor of the most flawed and least prepared President since Harding.

Let’s see…when it turns out there is no “there there” Lard Ass will blame Hillary Clinton. The best outcome is there will be enough rope here to fit a noose around his thick neck and the law will be closer to choking off his air!
