Special counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed a social media expert who advised Roger Stone during the 2016 presidential campaign, Reuters reports.

Jason Sullivan, who worked for Stone’s pro-Trump political action committee, received the subpoenas last week, and provide insight into Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling and possible collusion with the Trump campaign. As Reuters notes, Mueller is likely probing how much Stone knew about a hack orchestrated by the Russian government and disseminated via WikiLeaks.

Stone has denied any wrongdoing.

As Reuters reports, “Mueller also has been probing whether anyone associated with the Trump campaign may have helped Assange or the Russians time or target the release of hacked emails and other social media promoting Trump or critical of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.”
