This Week In Crazy: ‘Every Sexual Deviancy You Can Imagine’

The pitfalls of feminist journalism, sage hiring wisdom of Donald Trump, and the deviant sexual practices of Hillary Clinton. Welcome to “This Week In Crazy,” The National Memo’s weekly update on the loony, bigoted, and hateful behavior of the increasingly unhinged right wing. Starting with number five:

5. Bill O’Reilly

The Fox pundit and master of ceremonies in the No Spin Zone stepped down from on high to declare what sorts of people should and should not be allowed to report on Donald Trump.

If, for instance, you are a woman (or man, for that matter) who believes in equal rights for women, you should be recused and restricted from publishing any piece of journalism on The Donald.

“She is a feminist,” O’Reilly said, referring to a New York Times reporter who co-wrote the piece examining Trump’s record of uncouth remarks and behavior around women. “Trump is a beauty contestant purveyor. Do you let a feminist report on a beauty contestant person who is now turned politician?”

He continued: “If I’m an editor and I know there is a feminist woman in my newsroom, who is brilliant because I think this woman is an excellent reporter, I don’t let her report on a guy like Trump because Trump is the antithesis of that. And so I don’t want any margin of error here, there are plenty of reporters who can do the story, do you not see that?” he asked Bob Woodward, who did not see that, in fact.

  1. Dominick Vila May 20, 2016

The most disturbing part of all this is not so much what far right charlatans say, but the fact that millions of Americans are impressed by what they are saying, and believe every bit of it. I wonder how many of them know that Kissinger was instrumental in the re-establishment of diplomatic and trade relations with China, the country maligned by their hero for “stealing” American jobs, manipulating currency, and using tactics that have produced a huge trade deficit between them and the USA? I suspect they could care less. Let’s face it, if they are not concerned with Trump’s statements about Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, they are definitely not going to be too worried about something that happened half century ago.

    1. Box May 20, 2016

There is nothing here about being impressed or believing anything and stop saying that. Truth is that many people voting for Trump dont like him and for sane reasons. But Hillary is right now today ready for indictment by the FBI which is leaving it up to the DOJ to pursue. She is OUT, thats why Trump. But tell me, please out the top eight accomplishments of Hillary that a reasonable person sees makes her fit for president. It shouldnt be hard to list, she has had 40 years to assemble them. Go ahead, we’re listening.

      1. pisces63 May 20, 2016

THAT would be too easy for a person who can read. The hard part is name 2 of trumps accomplishments. TV show where he told the black male winner of that show in the 4th season to share the top prize with the white guy. Beauty pageant. Multiple marriages. Trump tower built on the backs of poor Polish immigrants who were paid $5.00 hour and slept on the premises. His resort in Florida that took applications from all over and only hired immigrants. Against a lawyer, first lady, the architect of a healthcare bill but was shot down by righties, as usual. Secretary of State. Trump cannot touch her lowest common denominator. He’s a bigot and an idiot and this black woman says so most vehemently. The way he continually ranted and lied about this president and now, he doesn’t want to talk about it? DO YOU really think I would vote for him for dog catcher? As for the FBI, since this bogus story started in the Times and perpetrated by a man pretending to be CIA and brought on charges, the FBI does itself no good in and of itself on any of this. The story started out bogus and remains so. I do not give a S*** about E-Mails. I work for a health insurance company and the minute I do anything personal it automatically encrypts itself. The government could not be that stupid, considering they laid out our guidelines under penalty, they do no use the same guidelines for themselves and employees. Spare me. Bogus.

      2. charleo1 May 20, 2016

So vote for Trump, and see what you get. Proof you can’t fix stupid, I’ll bet.

      3. Phil Christensen May 20, 2016

If fair to say they’ve both crapped on people less powerful then themselves. They’ve both imbedded into that unholy alliance between government and big business. Trump at least give lip service to preserving liberty. Don’t know if I trust him do it, though.

        1. Independent1 May 20, 2016

Trump gave lip service to preserving liberty?? When was that?? You can’t trust anything Trump says – he changes his rhetoric and support by the day, as the wind blows. He’s already backing off his demand to build a wall on the Mexican border – claiming now that his remarks were only a suggestion.

          1. Phil Christensen May 21, 2016

“A nation WITHOUT BORDERS is not a nation at all. We must have a wall. The rule of law matters. Jeb just doesn’t get it.” (Twitter, 2015)
This is an example of lip service to preserving liberty. You and I are going to disagree on how liberty is best preserved (enforcing national sovereignty), got it.
One thing you an I agree on is that it was a bogus promise.

      4. Dominick Vila May 20, 2016

You must break the law to be a criminal, and Hillary has not broken any laws. The worst that could be said about her is that she used poor judgment when she decided to use her personal server for official correspondence.
As for Hillary’s accomplishments, I would start by saying that she managed to overcome the financial limitations of being raised by a mother struggling to make ends meet, went to college, and graduated from law school with honors. She championed healthcare reform at a time when nobody was talking about it. She has promoted women rights in the USA – and abroad, as Secretary of State – for years, and she carried herself out with great dignity in the face of savage personal attacks by ideologues who are incapable of defeating her by discussing substantive issues. She gained the support of most New Yorker when she was their Senator, and was respected and admired by foreign dignitaries worldwide…while being maligned by her detractors at home.
Contrast that with the horror being expressed by foreign leaders, including David Cameron, one of our closest allies.

        1. idamag May 20, 2016

His rhetoric comes right off the radical right sites. From the time Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas and signed the civil rights act in that state, they have been after him. Nothing sticks. When it looked like Hiliary might run for president, they got out en-masse.. Note the difference in how we reacted to attacks on our diplomatic facilities when were Americans. We came together in outrage against the perpetrators. This time, it was politicized. They cried crocodile tears over four people and had no tears for 5,000 U.S. Servicemen and tens of thousands of Iraqis in a war that lies got us into. Whether it was foolish or not, there were people calling on work related issues on their private phones and Hiliary’s phone was a secure phone. Several hearings has not shown up anything and if they had any solid criminal evidence against her, she would not have been allowed to run for president.

      5. Independent1 May 20, 2016

So you don’t think Hillary has accomplished much huh!! Certainly far more than Trump, Sanders or any other politician you can think of:

        From the SunSentinel:

Hillary Clinton is smart, steady and able to rebound quickly from defeat. When her attempt at health care reform failed during her husband’s first term, Clinton worked with senators from both parties – Democrat Ted Kennedy and Republican Orrin Hatch — to create the Children’s Health Insurance Program, which cut the uninsured rate of American children in half. More than eight million children have coverage because of the program.

Critics who claim Clinton has no record of accomplishment despite her sparkling resume need to look closer at her record.

She helped secure more than $21 billion for World Trade Center redevelopment. She led investigations into the health problems of 9/11 first responders. She promoted increased National Institutes of Health funding for research into cancer and asthma. She was the principal author of sanctions – particularly on oil imports to the European Union — that brought Iran to the negotiating table. She helped bring about a 2012 cease-fire between Hamas and Israel that headed off an Israeli invasion of Gaza. She named an “ambassador at large” for women’s rights.

“Nearly every foreign policy victory of President Obama’s second term,” said Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., “has Secretary Clinton’s fingerprints on it.”

        And from the Daily Kos:

When Hillary Clinton stood up in Beijing to speak that truth, her hosts were not the only ones who didn’t necessarily want to hear it. Some of her husband’s advisors also were nervous about the speech, fearful of upsetting relations with China. But she faced down the opposition at home and abroad, and her words continue to hearten women around the world and have reverberated down the decades.

She’s just been busy working, doing it, making those words “Women’s Rights are Human Rights” into something every leader in every country now knows is a linchpin of American policy. It’s just so much more than a rhetorical triumph. We’re talking about what happened in the real world, the institutional change that was a result of that stand she took.

That night in the theater two years ago, the other six brave women came up on the stage. Anabella De Leon of Guatemala pointed to Hillary Clinton, who was sitting right in the front row, and said, “I met her and my life changed.” And all weekend long, women from all over the world said the same thing:

“I’m alive because she came to my country and she talked to our leaders, because I heard her speak, because I read about her.”

“I’m alive because she went on our local TV and talked about my work, and now they’re afraid to kill me.”

“I’m alive because she came to my village, put her arm around me, and had a photograph taken together.”

        1. dpaano June 10, 2016

Independent1: People have listed these things time and time again, but for some reason, some posters on this site can’t seem to get it into their thick skulls!!! How many times do we have to list these things for them? They aren’t going to believe any of it anyway…..they’ve been thoroughly brainwashed by the Republican party……Stockholm Syndrome, anyone?

      6. Independent1 May 20, 2016

And what about this from the Guardian:

Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice used private accounts for classified emails

The state department watchdog found that both Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, America’s top diplomats under president George W Bush, were sent sensitive national security information to nongovernment email addresses.

Why aren’t they already in jail??

        1. dpaano June 10, 2016

And, if they ever DO indict Hillary for her e-mails…..they’d have to also indict Powell and Rice and several others in the GWB administration! Personally, I’d LOVE to see GWB and his cohort in crime, Cheney, in black and white stripes!!!

      7. Charles Winter May 22, 2016

It’s much more likely that Trump will be going to jail for tax evasion and fraud. He is being audited by the IRS, and being investigated by Westchester County, NY, over the valuation of his golf course there. He brags about the course that the course is worth $50 mil, but reports its value to the county as being only $1.5 mil. In Westchester County, you couldn’t buy enough land for a Miniature golf course for $1.5 mil.

        1. Box May 23, 2016

Well first, if he needs to go to jail, by all means go –and let him and Hillary be cellmates. That said, a County only considers land and improvements for tax purposes. Its highly possible he bought the land for $1.5 million and thats the tax value. Counties would never consider intrinsic value, name value, the worth of a going, for-profit enterprise, same as anyones house or bare land. I dont see the lie yet. You bought your house for $100,000 and pay taxes on that. But you say you wouldnt take less than $500,000 for it right now today. Where is the valuation lie in that? Show me.

        2. dpaano June 10, 2016

Plus, Charles, there’s the Trump U fiasco…..can’t wait to see what happens with that one!

      8. dpaano June 10, 2016

She is NOT up for indictment…..I wish you’d get that fantasy out of your head! Yes, they have been looking at the e-mails, but there is no talk of indictment and none is expected! As for a confirmed criminal leading anyone…..Trump has already been indicted for his Trump U! How do you explain that? Of course, that’s a lot of baloney because….well….because it’s Trump! As he once said, he could shoot someone on the main street in New York and nothing would be done, and I’m starting to believe that. But, if Hillary even ran a red light on the same street…..everyone would insist she’s going to be indicted! Seriously, you people need to find another wacky conspiracy to worry about because this one is already passé. You tried with Benghazi….that didn’t work….so now you’re going to keep harping about e-mails. Sorry, guys, that isn’t going to fly either! I think Trump will be indicted WAAAAY before we see Hillary indicted!

      9. dpaano June 10, 2016

Box…..several people in other posts have pointed out many of the things that Hillary has done, but for some reason, you keep forgetting! How many times do we have to point them out for you?

    2. TZToronto May 20, 2016

As you have pointed out in other posts, Trump’s loyal followers are not interested in content. They are most impressed by form. It is unnecessary for Trump or his surrogates to actually say anything substantive. All that is necessary is for someone, anyone, to claim a formal association with Trump to be immediately and unquestioningly accepted as delivering Trump’s words from the Mount. And Trump’s words, self-contradictory as they may be, constitute the form his devoted followers seek. Hail Trump! We don’t care what he says. It must be profound, even if we don’t understand it or makes no sense to us or is as vacuous as Palinesque speech. After all, he’s going to make America great again. So obviously I’m going to have a chicken in my pot and a car in my garage–well, if I had a garage.

    3. Woodsworld May 20, 2016

Finally someone tells the truth about a long standing agenda. I was at the US Steel Clairton Coke Works when a delegation from China came to visit, with the idea to build one in their own land. This was in 1980, and a few years later, US Steel bought Marathon Oil, and started buying steel from Japan…..then put their own production in mothballs. This was the deindustrialization of America. Reagan tax cuts trickled down…..in the Pacific rim, not in the US.

Now the US ranks fifth globally in steel production, and lacks the capacity to produce the steel required for the rebuilding of its own infrastructure.

Now the same thing is happening in Information Technology, where US businesses invested in India years ago, and used significantly lower costs to undercut American workers wages. Now, the H1-B program is being used to replace American Engineers and consultants with foreign nationals. I’ve lived through both of these paradigm shifts, as an apprentice electrician in the 80’s, who became a Computer Engineer in the early 90’s. Add outsourcing to this, with the permanent loss of not only disposable income, but the income taxes that were paid at higher wages, and you have a recipe for a fanatical collapse.

Once again you are writing sense and wisdom, Dominick. We are witnessing in this election the lowest descent of American politics and as a senior citizen, I truly fear for the future of this country.

      1. Dominick Vila May 22, 2016

        So do I.

  2. Daniel Jones May 20, 2016

Healy is such a non-entity he’ll probably appoint her his Veep slot.

  3. bobnstuff May 20, 2016

Lots of gay bashing today. I wonder it these people are afraid that they are guy themselves and are hiding behind at gay bashing front.

    1. dpaano June 10, 2016

Sometimes I think most homophobes are just insecure about their own sexuality!

      1. bobnstuff June 10, 2016

That or they dad potty training issues.

  4. Here’s a picture of Healy Baumgardner without makeup & wig.

  5. charleo1 May 20, 2016

Trump is going to start making nice for the general election, and he’s starting with N. Korea, and Russia. (Wild cheering, and giddy bouncing from his adoring fans.) Plus, he’s also going to start getting loose with the nukes and tough with Japan, Mexico, Germany, NATO. (Formerly known as Allies.) So what could go so wrong it couldn’t be fixed back up in a year or two? After all, he’s talking to Henry Kissinger…

    1. dpaano June 10, 2016

Yeah, but according to Henry, Trump didn’t ask ANY questions, take ANY notes, and just sat there. Not sure he was even actively listening…..he’s determined that “HIS WAY” is the best despite anything anyone tries to tell him.

  6. Patricia Fear May 20, 2016

Stop bashing Hillary. You have a teaser headline referring to Hillary’s “deviant sexual practices” but I can find no article supporting your claim. I really don’t care what people do in privacy as long as no one is injured, but you are making a statement with no support, as though everyone knows the fact you assume. I believe you are lying.

    1. Paul Bass May 20, 2016

Sandy Rios, the RWNJ mentioned in page 4 quotes “deviant sexual behavior” implying HRC has a long time lesbian relationship with her top aide, Huma.

      1. Patricia Fear May 20, 2016

I see no evidence provided that this accusation is true, and, even if it is, so what. Was Paul Bass in the bedroom with Hillary? Does he hate all gays? This story is, at best, a total fabrication designed to demean Hillary, and, at worst, gay bashing.

        1. idamag May 20, 2016

I’ve always that the only way I would know someone was gay, if they didn’t tell me, was to be an eye witness and so far no one has asked into their bedrooms.

        2. Paul Bass May 20, 2016

Patty, chill I’m w/ you. I was answering your inquiry! I DID refer to Rios as a Right Wing Nut Job, I’m pretty sure those cons don’t take this reference as a compliment!

I also said “implying”, most of us “pleasant liberals” use this word as a euphemism for the cons FLAT OUT LYING!

As in the saying “Aren’t you special”, a southern euphemism.

        3. plc97477 May 20, 2016

Maybe you should go back and read the whole article.

          1. Patricia Fear May 20, 2016

I looked for an article with some documentation and found nothing but a screaming headline and.some comments.

          2. Robert Eckert May 23, 2016

Try to buy a clue here. The feature is called This Week In Crazy. It has been a regular feature here for ages. The quotes (which are put in quote marks to indicate, you know, that the words are from other people) are illustrations of the Crazy. The entire purpose of quoting the phrase “every sexual deviancy you can imagine” is to point out how crazy it is, not to argue for its accuracy.

          3. dpaano June 10, 2016

AND, no where did the headline mention Hillary Clinton, so I’m not sure where you got this.

          4. dpaano June 10, 2016

Again, I didn’t see a “screaming” headline at all….not sure what article YOU were reading.

      2. Eleanore Whitaker May 20, 2016

Bass..Get the legal documents on it or it is just more of you men desperate to get rid of Hillary. And just what the hell makes you think that some other Boomer Woman won’t replace her that you will then do the same to?

Perhaps what you male loonies hate most is that gross insecurity that women with power might get too fed up with the Big Baby Boy BS and decide to castrate en masse? Not to worry. Women know you men are no longer need to make babies. Science proves that.

        1. iamproteus May 20, 2016

Patricia and Eleanore…..you two have gone off the rails! Read what Bass said again.

          1. Eleanore Whitaker May 20, 2016

Awww…Did we big bad women post what you guys can’t prove in a court of law and make your gender look like liars? Booooo hoooo…And I thought men didn’t whine and cry and seek out those cutesy, coy, eyelash batting clinging vine types.

          2. Paul Bass May 20, 2016

Chill, we’re w/ you, just a bit more “southern polite”!

reread my post, in NO way do I agree w/ idjit Rios, I STATE see is “RWNJ” and use “imply” (in southern for “I’M FLAT LYING”) should tell you my view on the matter. Thank you.

          3. Joan June 9, 2016

Your post was not difficult to comprehend. I think that Eleanor is so used to being attacked that she assumes that all post are attacks.

        2. Paul Bass May 20, 2016

Chill Eleanore, see my reply to Pat!

I’ve been a LYD in a nazi state all my life. Have you read ANY of my posts? Have a great day.

    2. dpaano June 10, 2016

I didn’t see ANYWHERE in the headline that referred to Hillary having “deviant sexual practices.” Not sure where you saw this, but maybe that’s where your brain is at.

  7. idamag May 20, 2016

Bill O’Reilly, I watched you bully women on Oprah Winfrey once. Does your wife trip and fall a lot? Does she run into doors or stay home from engagements? Anne Graham Lotz, you evangelists seem to be obcessed with sex. I don’t give a care about who is marrying who. I don’t peek under toilet stalls to see if the woman next to me has a different set-up than I do. In other words: I am not a crotch sniffer. There are things happening in the world that causes more grief than what happens below the belt. Pamela Geller, ugly is as ugly does and you are one ugly person. Sandy Rios, if one lie doesn’t stick, try another. You are just another ugly crotch sniffer. Nealy Bumgardener, If Trump is doing a parody to show the Republican Party how stupid they are – tag, you’re it.

  8. Eleanore Whitaker May 20, 2016

Women all over the US are seeing the results of centuries of MAN’s World BS. Every time an article comes out on the government, it is dripping sex. Clue boys…Women are not always thinking about sex as often as you men do. We can’t. We are too busy cleaning up the pig stys you boys create.

Then, you read the posts from journalists and men about Hillary…dripping with Testosterone BS. She can’t be trusted. She is a criminal. She’s a murderess. She’s ineffective. Dropping that Masculine blanket over politics, government, business and sadly, even religion is not going to fly anymore.

If ever American women were fed up with spiteful little boys always fighting with each other, that time has come and wow…do they hate it with such fury they are stooping so low their butts are in their faces by now.

    1. iamproteus May 20, 2016

You come up with more unproductive bullshit insults than any republican I see on these boards. And that’s saying something!

      1. Eleanore Whitaker May 20, 2016

You bet I can…Want more? With Republicans…the sky is the limit. Same with wingers.

        1. iamproteus May 20, 2016

No, I don’t. There is a limit to how much rightwing self-imposed ignorance I can deal with in one day and you just hit it!

          1. Eleanore Whitaker May 21, 2016

You can’t handle the facts can you winger? You want to know why wingers are such ball faced liars, crooks and freeloaders? They were born to plantation privilege.

GEt this and get it straight. I am an American who will never allow any pigfaced snot nosed right winger to turn this country into their private little kingdom.

I don’t need to be right, left, center, back or DogPatch, Corn Pones and Mutton Chops ideology.

I was bred to know right from wrong, commo sense and common decency. When you learn these, let me know.

          2. iamproteus May 21, 2016

Earlier on this page, bosda the raccoon philosopher posted your picture. Is that what’s got your goat? Or are you just honing your insult skills in preparation for your upcoming book, “Stupid Insults for Dummies”? In any case, you really should try to reconcile with your abusive daddy.

          3. Eleanore Whitaker May 22, 2016

Oh puhlease…I chew up and spit our jerks like Bosda every day. You want the photo of me that’s on the back cover of my book, “The House at the End of Langdon Road?”
Bosda is just another male pig who can’t fight his way to the bathroom.

All he wants is what the idiots want: Special privileges. Bosda is a creepy little twerp who never grew up and has to have his/her way all the time. Most hicks do because they are so badly boozed out on White Lightnin’ and backseat meth.

          4. dpaano June 10, 2016

Seriously, you have nothing better to talk about than to spend wasted time calling Eleanore names? She has as much right as you do to post on this site and expect not to be called names! Grow up, okay?

          5. David May 22, 2016

Eleanore!!!!! Yet another example of your illiteracy. It is “bald” faced liars, not “ball” face liars. Geesh…where did you go to high school? New Joisey?

      2. Insinnergy June 1, 2016

        What’s more laughable…?
Someone stating how they feel about the article they’ve read on this page?
Or someone hanging out here because they have a sad and rather stalkerish fascination with waiting for a particular person to give their opinion so they can whine like a little b1tch about it?

Every time I see you pick apart one of Eleanore’s posts I see a sad little man with who is butt-hurt over some past slight, desperately bashing the Skinner Box button in the vain hope that he can get his manhood back if he can just tear her down enough.

Proof, their rabid infatuation with Beyoncé. Always speaking of her, vilifying her. Even a congressman to the point of amazement. I do not believe the lies, half truths about her, Hillary. I read for myself and have followed her since these same village idiots raked her over the coals for going by Rodham and no Clinton. How stupid can you get. talk about nit picking. Been on her side ever since and will remain so. I voted for her in the 2008 Ohio primary, too. I am a 67 year old black woman. As for the Rios and Grahams, etc., the woman they wanted turned them down. I’m sorry but it isn’t anyone’s fault. they found you repulsive. As for Healy, I watch her and other Trump woman, all blondes, I believe and have a good laugh. They can be comically hilarious. I watched that show that night and my jaw keep falling open wider and wider and could not believe the I’m cute but vapid look she put forth.

One comment re: Pamela Geller. I am a New Yorker and have seen “her” organizational ads about Islam and terror. I think that the ads were both accurate and honest. I don’t like Pamela Geller…she is a contentious, abrasive, extremist in the radical right…BUT not everything she declares about Islam is wrong. Not by a long shot. It is not “Islamophobia” to tell the truth about Islam and that truth is, to say the least, not complimentary to that faith and a huge number of its adherents world-wide. Perhaps not a majority but a very large minority and you have only to examine the Pew Research polls on Muslim opinions to affirm this fact.

Tell the truth, I have no problem. My problem, as a black woman is that truism isn’t used for white Christian extremists like Routh, Koresh, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City. ‘They had mental problems.’ They were isolated and loners. Tell the truth about all and call ALL what they truly are. You do not get to pick and choose. when this president wanted law to protect us from his type, Boehner said he would not vilify patriots.

That headline, standing alone with no follow-up article, implied that the crazy one was Hillary, whom you state is a sexual deviant. This is not funny; it’s just another unfounded attempt to destroy Hillary’s credibility. You are just a bunch of lying misogynists, certainly not journalists. You clearly feel no obligation to investigate stories and report the truth. There is enough humor in what is really going on politically. Report that instead of making stuff up.

Actually, Bill O’Reilly has a very good point. He said, “If I’m an editor and I know there is a … woman in my newsroom, who is brilliant because I think this woman is an excellent reporter, I don’t let her report on a guy like Trump because Trump is the antithesis of that.” So, by his logic, which I fully agree with, the editor should appoint a reporter who is stupid and incompetent to report on Trump, because Trump is such a person.

Bill O’Reilly:In other words, “screw the first amendment to The Constitution.”
anne graham lotz: When we had prayer in school we had; lynchings, beatings, Church and home burnings, Church and home bombings, killing people for trying to vote. killing people who tried to register people to vote, Jim Crow laws, suppression, and the lost goes on and on.
Pamela geller and sandy rios: loose nuts are a concern in engines and our Country. In fact, you two are like the nuts left over after the engine is put together and running smoothly. You have no useful purpose in civilization.
