During Tuesday’s Jansing & Co. on MSNBC, host Chris Jansing referred to The National Memo‘s “How The NRA Impeded The Boston Bomber Investigation” by David Cay Johnston. Jansing, along with The Huffington Post’s Amanda Terkel and Alex Seitz-Ward of Slate, discussed NRA-supported gun laws that may have hindered investigators in Boston from finding the Tsarnaev brothers sooner. Massachusetts has some of the toughest gun laws in the country, and despite doing so illegally, the Tsarnaev brothers were still able to obtain guns that were used against civilians and authorities.
