    Sad but true.

  2. If a regular person or blue collar worker misses a deadline they get fired. Those senators & representatives don’t do the job of governing the country they should not get paid. I bet if their pay check depended on coming up with a compromise they would pull in their horns & get something done.

What a great country we live in, I am surprised they came to any agreement that didn’t take from the middle class or the poor. The next few months will certainly be rough.

Willie… you know not of what you speak… yet again. Taxes are going up for 77% of the taxpayers. And that’s before they start slamming us for Obozocare and the tax hikes that come from that debacle.

Pringles… I take it you don’t actually work, do you? Are you living off the labor of your neighbor like most of the other lazy leftist freaks on this site? I’d bet. Here’s a source for you, you dope:

“We have elected some very intelligent people to administer our government… ..WHY do they (all elected government officials at all levels; National, State, & Local) not understand that we cannot continue to SPEND more than we take in indefinitely without end … … .????? Have we all gone nuts????… ..Eventually, income MUST equal or exceed spending; it’s just plain common sense, not rocket science… … !!!” – Anonymous

Okay, OMG, now go back to the Bush era and add in the cost of two wars. It seems Bush forgot to do that. Or, if you prefer Bush’s economics, deduct the cost of two wars from Obama’s deficit.

      Have a nice day!

      • ObozoMustGo says:

Metro… don’t you find it interesting how the leftist freaks have for years screamed about how successful the economy was under Clinton rates, but when the time came to reinstate the Clinton rates, all the leftist freaks screamed and yelled about the “fiscal cliff”? Which one is it? Are the Clinton rates good, or not good? More hypocrisy from the leftist freaks, politicians, and the state-controlled propaganda machine called the media, I suppose.

To answer your question, Bush was bad. Obozo is a Bush-bad on steroids. I consider Bush the MUCH lesser of 2 evils and will gladly take Bush era spending in actual dollars over Obozo era spending. Anyone with a brain would do that.

By the way, you leftists continually repeat the same old lie that you have for years. That is, that Bush did not account for the cost of the wars. I will prove you dead wrong again:

        1) Bush and Congress did a budget every year. (Obozo has never done one, by the way)
        2) The budgets included funding for the DoD/military, which by the way, is the department of government responsible for running wars, in case you did not know that.
        3) How many times in the news cycle over the years did we hear about the DemonRATS threatening to withdraw funding from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? At least 3 times I can recall off the top of my head.

So, if Bush and Congress got budgets passed that included funding for DoD and included arguments against continued funding of the wars, how is it exactly that Bush hid the cost of the wars from Congress, and a DemonRAT Congress at that for the last 2 years? Please explain, or refrain from spreading the lies again.

        Have a nice day!

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbels

Speaker of The House opened the flood gate by calling Senator R…you know what.

Is this a free license to call him the same, since the American public does not think
very highly of him as Speaker of The House?
