Democrats need your help to pass President Obama's second term agenda. Sign up and show him you have his back!
I expect Rubio will actually have a well delivered address, completely written for him by one of Karl Rove’s stooges. It will be harmless pap designed to assuage the Republican party supporters that the party does still have some relevance. It will be high on ideals and empty on substance, so it cannot be held against them later when they fall short of what they promise.
On the other hand, I am looking forward to hearing Rand Paul’s incoherent ramblings in his Tea Bag response. I am sure that will follow the paranoid ramblings of the incoherent Right, and now that Jim DeMint is no longer in the Senate to hold him back, Paul should be in full idiotic mode. Make sure you have extra popcorn. Unfortunately for Randy, Faux news will probably be the only outlet that actually carries it, and it could be preempted by a report of Dick Morris proving to be the love child of Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh.
You are utterly priceless!!! ROTF…
who is that cartoon supposed to be of, a young Teddy Kennedy?
David Letterman need not worry that the writers of these so called jokes will ever get his job !
This is absolute BULLSHIT! The constitution REQUIRES the President to make a report to congress on the state of the Union annually. There is nothing in the constitution about giving th opposing party air time to say “You :Lie!” Having ANY REPUBLICAN offer a REbuttal of the State of the Union Address undermines the constitution and the intent of the founders!
What’s so bad about the networks giving the opposition air time to rebut the President?
It seems to be to be a good practice, regardless of who’s in power.
This is racist and offensive.
On October 22, National Memo Editor-in-Chief Joe Conason interviewed Grover Norquist -- founder of Americans for Tax Reform -- on Ted Cruz's strategic missteps, the federal budget sequester, and the GOP's outlook for the 2014 midterms.
