    Go forward folks.

It’s about time John Stewart was recognized for his intelligent discourses over the years. I once heard that young people, who may not know what’s happening, learn the news from Stewart’s comments.

Thank you Chris Matthews, Joe Conason and your guest for a very informative interview.

G-d bless you, John, and I bless you.

Go ahead and use the O Anne, afterall it’s not a cuss word and who gives a damn if it is?

      • Annemb

        Thanks Mark.

I eliminated the “O” because in Hebrew, it’s omitted from the word “God” in writing and out of respect for Jon Stewart who is a Jew.

        • Mark Forsyth

Well that goes to show what I know. Now that I think about it,getting a come uppance from a Jew must put a bunch in Limbaughs shorts.Serves him right.

            You are sooo cool, Mark!

Yes, it serves the Rush right!!!

  • latebloomingrandma

I also love it when Jon takes down O”Reilly. Poor Bill doesn’t know how to respond other than calling Stewart just comedian that few people watch. He wishes!

Joe Conason’s final comment was 100% on point! This is simply an obvious choice between being a human being with a moral conscience and in Rush’s case NOT being a human being with NO conscience at all and worse yet not even caring one twit. He simply finds another way to attack and disrespect Mrs. Obama, and ridicule whatever she does while being the misogynist creature Rushbo is!!!.
Maybe in the social media age, calling out despots, oppressive tyrants, religious criminals, and outrageous haters like Rush, is what we all can do to make the majority of the civilized world’s voice be heard. Silence from a majority is the tool that allows people like Rushbo and so many of the hate talkers on the far right run amok, willy-nilly spewing their venom! John Stewart will be out there, never SILENT, turning on a big bright disinfecting light on the verbal insanity from these outrageous twisted haters, fear mongering zealots and contemptible bigots like Rush Limbaugh, AND OTHERS, too many to list, until finally maybe with any luck at all, Rush and all the other creatures will loose their slimy platform and go off into anonymity never to be heard from again……….as ever, hope springs eternal!!!!!

While reading your comment the quote that stuck in my mind was-“The only thing needed for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing.”

I have always loved the comedy of both Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. They have always used satire to expose the pomposity of the right wing. Most of the right wing talk show people are so nutty they can’t be taken seriously by most people. Rush though is a special case. He may believe what he says but ultimately what he says is to do nothing more than to inflate his own importance. Rush’s biggest fan is himself. Like a hot air balloon he is too full of himself and his only function is to get more followers to boost his ratings and in turn his income.

If today’s liberals will callously murder the unborn, who won’t they attack?
