Patriots’ Brady In Injury Scare At Practice

FOXBOROUGH, United States (AFP) – New England president Jonathan Kraft said star quarterback Tom Brady was not seriously injured when he collided with another player during the Patriots’ practice.

Three-time Super Bowl champion Brady left the field Wednesday with an apparent knee injury which he suffered while attempting a pass.

Brady tore the ACL in the same knee in 2008, ending his season on what was the opening game of the year.

“I’m under the impression that it’s probably not that serious,” Kraft told The Sports Hub, a Boston radio show.

Brady was hurt when Patriots tackle Nate Solder was pushed back into him — Brady hit the ground and then grabbed his left knee in pain.

But two-time league MVP Brady walked off the field under his own steam.

US sports network ESPN reported that the MRI on Brady’s knee was negative. Brady has played his entire NFL career with the Patriots, appearing in five Super Bowl contests.
