    As is the case in several mid-eastern nations, the military is the foremost political actor. These protestors are absolutely right in protesting this in Egypt. We in America should take notice, as our own military consumes more and more of our GDP. In Central and South America, we have fought military dictatorships; North Korea has their own version; Sudan does it with militias instead of a standing army.
