Democrats need your help to pass President Obama's second term agenda. Sign up and show him you have his back!
Considering the fact that rebels are fighting and gaining ground in the outskirts of Damascus, Bashar should consider the benefits of enjoying the Bolshoi and a glass of vodka.
Rather cheap comment Dominick. I expected better from someone like you.
Putin might not be the friend any longer. A friend is a friend only as long as there is a need to Putin. If Assad is gone then who cares about him?
assad might need to be seeking asylum in russia, eventually he is going to get his ass kicked , and for sure should he ever use chemical wmd,s for he is a future loser.
If he uses chemical weapons against the civilian population nobody will give him asylum. Let’s hope it does not come to that and some country, interested in putting an end to the carnage is Syria offer him and his cronies political asylum. At this point, they are fighting for survival, and it may get uglier as the end nears.
Bashar has outlived all use to the Kremlin:Putin has realized that tear and wear of any article like assad has limitations.Dumping assad before he becomes a greater liability is very wise!
Is this what Obozo meant when he told Medvedev “Tell Vladimir I will have more flexibility after the election”?
Also, how many of you leftist freak morons actually believe the WMD lie this time around? Does it sound familiar? It should. And it should make you all uncomfortable.
One other point, the Obozo regime has now come out and admitted to sending weapons to rebels (read Al Qaeda) in Syria. Just like I have been saying in here for 3 months. The whole Benghazi coverup was specifically intended to hide Obozo’s illegal arms supply to terrorist organizations. The WMD accusations are nothing more than a way to legitimize Obozo’s illegal actions. How many of you leftist freaks impuned me when I said Obozo was supplying arms to terrorists in Syria fighting against Assad? Most of you did. Now it is out that I was correct. Apologies will be accepted as they come.
Have a nice day!
“Based on information that we — our initial information — we saw no evidence to back up claims by others that this was a preplanned or premeditated attack; that we saw evidence that it was sparked by the reaction to this video.” – Jay Carney on Sept 17th responding to questions about what caused the Benghazi attacks on our consulate on 9/11, despite email evidence that shows Obozo knew it was a terrorist attack moments after it started.
I don’t think you want to get too uppity about sending weapons to people who later use them against us, OMG. That’s something that has gone on for many decades through many administrations. I don’t think it was the leftist freak morons (not a very nice thing to say) were the people taken in by the WMD lies. You have to be careful when you throw BS up in the air because it will come down on you also.
Have a nice day! And be sure to duck.
Good morning, Metro! Nice to hear from you. Regarding my post, I’m not throwing BS in the air. Facts are facts. The whole WMD thing is a ruse that Obozo is using as a means to justify his illegal supply of heavy weapons to terrorists in Al Qaida and the Muzzi Brotherhood who are posing as “rebels” to overthrow secular governments. It’s what happened in Egypt and Libya, and Obozo will replicate this in Syria. I told you and others 3 months ago that he was giving heavy weapons to terrorists and most of the people on here thought I was a “conspiracy nut.” And what has happened? I have been proven right. Also, it does amaze me how the left crucified Bush over the WMD thing, but somehow when it comes from Obozo’s mouth they are silent. As usual with the left, there’s a very strong odor of hypocrisy in the air. Can you smell it, too?
BTW, Bush and the entire world intelligence aparatus, even the cowards from France, even the cowards in the DemonRAT party, all agreed that Saddam had WMDs. In Obozo’s case, only Obozo says they have chemical weapons. Not even the rebels on the ground in Syria think that Assad has them or would use them if he did. They laugh at Obozo, as does everyone else except the left and the media (I know, that’s redundant) in America.
Have a great day, Metro!

“When Obozo called the SEALs, they got Bin Laden. When the SEALs called Obozo, they got denied.” – Navy SEAL’s Facebook posting that was censored and then later uncensored
Enough of the BS on letting guys like him off the hook. Execution is the only real remedy for people like him….
No, people with high level education have to understand better the issue here. Kremlin, Putin, China bashing is not the real thing. The issue here is secular regimes in the Middle East. Israel to some extent wanted to follow that path. Iraq and Syria entered in the political philosophy of Baathism which is a blend of XIX century european socialism, plurality with Islam and Christian background. This ideologies created real powerful secular societies in those mentioned countries. You know what happened with Iraq. Of course, the security of Israel was the motor of the invasion by U.S. And you know what happens today. Forget in Iraq about secular society. U.S. disturbed all of that to irrecuperable. The same pattern is repeating with Syria. This time, zealots in U.S. Congress and White House are mostly against Iran (the new evil). And they are succeeding convince the public opinion about how evil is Assad. What they like to ignore is that the «rebels» are Salafists and Jihadists ready to install Caliphates in all the Middle East.
Newborn… you’re exactly correct. But I would add to your comments the fact that it has been the Obozo regime that has been the catalyst for the overthrow of secular governments who were allies that kept their thumb on terrorists over the years. It has been the Obozo regime that has been supplying heavy weapons to the terrorsts. It is the Obozo regime that has cozy’d up to the Muzzy Brotherhood and even employs members of that organization in high levels of the US government, even in intelligence and homeland security. It’s the Obozo regime that has been covering up the real issue in Benghazi. All of this is related to Obozo’s utter failure at foreign policy in the Middle East. The leftist freaks on here have no clue what the heck is going on over there and will defend Obozo to the death.
Have a great day!

RE: use of chemical weapons. Everyone seems to have forgotten that many of the middle-eastern & African countries were allies of USSR and their military was trained by Russia. Russia consider chemical weapon just another weapon in their arsenal and Russian military and the people they train do not see any difference between using chemicals or using mortars.
Hi Santa Clause (aka Ralph)…. how are you today, my friend? I am well. On the issue of WMD in Syria…. no one, I mean NO ONE except the American left and the media (that’s redundant, I know) actually thinks the Assad has chemical weapons or, if he did have them, that he would use them. Even the rebels (read terrorists) that Obozo has been arming in Syria don’t believe that nonsense. Somehow, I think maybe this time around you would be double skeptical when you hear the excuse of WMD’s. Dontcha think, Santa?
Have a great day, Ralphie!
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbels
