Democrats need your help to pass President Obama's second term agenda. Sign up and show him you have his back!
It’s too nice, like the President was last night!
Good cartoon you hit it on the head, I thought about two roosters one walking in circles and crowing and yacking the other rooster his head sticking up with all the hens surrounding him. Which one ended up in the roaster?
And now…. the REAL Cartoon of The Day!

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” –Joe Biden on Barack Obama

The President is doing an exceptional job!!And has to read ‘ hear comment so offensive everyday that I do not know only by Faith that he just let it fly over his head . Have a nice day!
“You cannot go to a 7/11 or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.” – Joe Biden
I am a older american on limited income, and I fully support the President all the way .Americans remember Bush days ,do you want to go back there or is it just because this man is black, remember white Americans he is a part of you too, this highly educated and well spoken man did not cause our problem,it started long before he took office and he has done his best to solve them.I know there are still a lot of old bigots in this beautiful Country and telling people to go back to their Country, start looking up you heritage each one that says that most of their parents came through Ellis Island after world war2.I want 4 more years,so give it to him.Hail to the Chief
You must have a selective memory. In spit of 9/11…and the Iraq war…during most of the Bush years the economy was very good. It wasn’t until during the final year when we had the mortgage meltdown that things started going south. And you can pretty much lay a lot of the blame for that at the feet of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. If you don’t know what I’m talking about you need to read up on the “Community Reinvestment Act”. Actually Bush repeatedly warned them that it could happen.
When Clinton left office there was a surplus, George and his crony Chaney spent all of that, building up all the lies to get us into Iraq. When they were forced to face the fact that they had to go into Afgan, because “oops” thats where Osama’s boys where holding up. So into the 2nd war we went. Now we were paying on 2 fronts. Bush and Chaney put us in debt up to our ears because of their foolish lies to get us into Iraq. And make NO mistake about it. Even if their had been no 9/11, we would be in Iraq, that was on their table to do before Georgie Boy got into office. Mr. Obama can’t undo in 4 yes. what Bush and Chaney did in 8 with a surplus to start with.
It is funny how everything that happened during President Bush’s eight years was the fault of President Carter and President Clinton but everything that happened after President Bush left office is President Obama’s fault. Do you see the irony here? President Bush is a draft dodging war criminal that through his lies sent thousands of young American soldiers to their death.
Royce… the leftist freaks in here don’t like the truth being poured out on their utopian visions like cold water on a fire. They don’t understand that the housing crisis was a crisis manufactured by government bureaucrats and politicians seeking to control a market for their social engineering goals. They don’t understand this first part, but what makes them even more stupid is the suggestion that the cure to this disease is more of the same policies that require more and more government.
Like I’ve said before, liberalism is the disease that presents itself as it’s own cure.
Keep on fighting the good fight for common sense and liberty.
As William Voegeli put it in Never Enough: America’s Limitless Welfare State, “Liberals don’t want the government to grow indefinitely. They just want it to be bigger than it is right now. The corollary of this stance is liberals’ refusal even to entertain questions on the dimensions of a welfare state that is exactly the right size.”
That was only so because Bush was over extending the Nation’s credit and the bill hadn’t come in during that time. Had Bush not used credit for wars we wouldn’t be in the situation we came to in 2009. YOU read some facts.
Love the cartoon. Lehrer is a much better choice to take off PBS than Big Bird. Atleast with Big Bird, you always had the sense he was in charge.
I never cared much for Big Bird until now!
GO BIG BIRD! Never liked him much until Wednesday night. Great cartoon!
