They want to impeach Obama and yet they let murder and mayhem go unchecked under Bush.

    • Dominick Vila

Not to mention bringing our economy to the verge of collapse. Bear in mind that for some Republicans impeachment is just a manifestation of hatred and intolerance, that has little to do with facts or what is best for our country and our society.

And now…. The REAL Cartoon of the Day!

    Obozo’s view of the Constitution

    Have a nice day!

“The march of tyranny is so subtle that it goes unnoticed by those poor and timid souls who gladly trade their liberties for the false promises of security from the political class seeking to control them. It certainly is one of the great paradoxes of our time how a formerly great, free, and independent people are being transformed into a bunch of cowering wimps clamoring to be led, and provided for, by charlatans.” – ObozoMustGo

What a remarkably ignorant quote you made up. ESAD

comaboy! Did someone slap you awake from your slumber? Go back to sleep. Your fantasy world works better there.

        Have a nice day!

“Rule of thumb… never trust what comes from the mouth of a socialist politician. They are only lying to you so they can spend other people’s money to build up their own power base and bureaucracy.” – ObozoMustGo

You’re just full of nonsense today. I love the humor. Keep it up.

          • ObozoMustGo

Toby… I am here to help, my friend. I am here to help.
            Have a nice day!

There’s no difference between the right and the left’s cherry picking of the constitution. The right does have the advantage though because YOU have practice from conveniently cherry picking your bible too.

You forgot to add the “greedy immoral bastards” along with the “cowering wimps,” OMG. Your heroes — Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Rick Scott — remind me of the little dogs at the dog park. They run to the fence between them and the big dogs, barking, growing, snorting, knowing full well the big dogs can’t get at them. But, if you take them into the big dog area, the run and hide under the bushes or under the benches and whine. Are these the cowering wimps you are referring to?
      Have a great day!

Hey Metro! How are you doing and how’s Mrs. Metro’s new hip? I hope she is well.

Unfortunately, Rubio has shown signs of being a turncoat with the whole amnesty thing. And his “partnering” with the slimeball of the senate, Chuckie Shumer, was just an indication of a severe lack of understanding of his opponents as well as a lack of judgement of character. To make matters worse, he allowed himself to be used by the leftist freaks as the mouthpiece for a highly unpopular proposal. I will be sending money to his primary opponent next round.

Ted Cruz is a superstar in the making. The leftist freaks in the DemonRAT party are so afraid of this guy they are already performing character assassinations on him in hopes that they can form public opinion with the low information voters sooner than he is able to define himself.

I’m not a big fan of Rick Scott. Scott Walker, yes. But not Rick Scott.

And you must have read my post on the other thread regarding the greedy people that have enough to live without SS, but demand it anyway in light of the facts the Trustees have admitted to regarding the impending insolvency of the program. Demanding what is not one’s own and KNOWING the financial impact on others is what makes one a greedy bastard.

        Have a nice day, Metro!

You have a sever lack of understanding what a democracy is. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not about your way or no way.

The framers put impeachment into the Constitution so that the WORST abuses of an office, such as starting an unauthorized war, imprisoning innocent people without trial, staging attacks on our own people that could be blamed on “foreign” soldiers, etc. could be dealt with. Most impeachments outside the White House (judges, members of Congress, etc.) have been carried out to remove an ALREADY CONVICTED FELON from office so that the job could be filled with someone actually able to ATTEND to the job. But Presidential impeachments have never been for ACTUAL crimes, only for politically CONTRIVED crimes.

Andrew Johnson, who inherited the Presidency on the death of Lincoln, was a Democrat (because Lincoln did not want the Union cause in the war to be partisan) from Tennessee (who did not support the Confederacy), and a decent man, but the Radical (that’s what history calls them) Republicans contrived a law they knew would be found unconstitutional, saying that not only could the President not HIRE cabinet members without consent of the Senate, he could not FIRE them either. Then they waited until Johnson “broke” that law by firing his Secretary of War. And before he had the chance to take it to the Supreme Court, they impeached him, knowing they had the two thirds of both houses locked up. But ONE Senator refused to go along, at the cost of his political career, because he knew that impeachment was NOT meant to be used for POLITICAL disagreements.

Bill Clinton, not the most “righteous” man to hold the office (as he admits), had a sexual affair with an intern. The Republicans in the House had been LOOKING for something to charge him (or Mrs. Clinton) with, and appointed a special prosecutor, who rather than admit he found nothing, centered on the affair. He called the President before a grand jury, and asked him a totally irrelevant question about the affair. Since the woman involved had not gone public, his duty as a GENTLEMAN was to give the lady the benefit of discretion, so he denied it (not to do so would have been a breach of etiquette, which his opponents would never understand), but the woman’s “friend” stole the dress from her closet and had it tested, so that neither of them could deny it. This gave the Republicans the excuse they needed, so they went ahead and used “perjury” as an excuse to impeach him. This time SEVERAL Senators saw through the ruse, and voted to acquit him. He went on do to most of the good things on his agenda despite their opposition and the distraction of that useless proceeding.

Now they want to impeach President Obama, and for what? Basically, because the extremists JUST DON’T LIKE HIM. For the third time in American history, radicals in the SAME party are talking about impeaching a President of the opposing party for PURELY POLITICAL motives. In other words, the radical Republicans have NEVER believed in dialogue, debate on issues, negotiation, compromise, or any of the principles enshrined in our Constitution; they ONLY believe in getting power by any means necessary, honest or dishonest (although they claim to be motivated by Christian ideals, which apparently do NOT include the Ninth Commandment), and then use that power to achieve their goals REGARDLESS of the approval of the voters, or not. Which means that they want to REMOVE the voters’ power to vote them out of office. In other words, they believe in government of, by and for the WEALTHY ELITE, not the PEOPLE (at least not the people who disagree with them).

So, his REAL offense in their minds is BEING PRESIDENT WHILE BLACK. Even Republican voters SHOULD be disgusted enough to vote radical Republicans out of office.
