Ron Paul Slams Rick Perry For His Al Gore Ties

Ron Paul, the former U.S. Congressman and perennial firebrand of the libertarian right, seems to think he can gain traction in the race to challenge Barack Obama by trashing the GOP flavor of the month, Rick Perry, for having been a Democrat for many years, including in 1988 when he (predictably) supported the Southern conservative in his party, Al Gore, seeking the presidency.

During the all-too-brief one-on-one contest between Nikki Haley and Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, there was a good deal of analysis declaring it the last stand of the Reaganite vision for the GOP versus the MAGA takeover.
