#EndorseThis: Trevor Noah Nails Mike Pence For Ice Cold Immigration Talk

Trumpers may have a point that decorum isn’t everything for an administration. But we’d like to think that our elected leaders could at least temper their partisan stances with some knowledge of geography and civics. Unlike (apparently) Mike Pence, who recently traveled south to give a message to Central American immigrants…in Brazil?

Trevor Noah seems more shocked than angered by Pence’s warning to potential migrants, “if you can’t come legally, don’t come at all.” The VP’s description of his statement as “from the heart” doesn’t help matters much. But if you read #EndorseThis for a daily giggle, never fear. The Daily Show comic senses that the tension is too high at about the :45 mark, and unleashes a PG-13 joke that turns Pence into a farce and the studio audience into a riot. And don’t skip the brief monologue-ending segment featuring one of the cutest and most talented animals in the world.
