It Gets Better? Romney Apologizes For Bullying Gay Classmates

Mitt Romney (second from the left) in Pep Club at Cranbrook School (via @LOLGOP)

On the day after Barack Obama became the first sitting U.S. President to endorse gay marriage, Mitt Romney is defending himself against charges that he bullied gay classmates as a high school student.

“The people involved didn’t come out of the closet until years later,” Romney told a Fox News radio show. “I had no idea that this person might have been gay.”

“I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks during high school and some may have gone too far. And for that I apologize,” he added.

The apology is in reference to a Washington Post article by Jason Horowitz, which reports that an 18 year old Romney refused to tolerate his gay classmate Jon Lauber walking around the ritzy Cranbrook School with long, bleached-blonde hair.

“That’s wrong. Just look at him!” Romney exclaimed. According to several sources including Romney’s friend Matthew Friedemann, things then took a dark turn:

A few days later, Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the school’s collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Lauber’s hair. Friedemann followed them to a nearby room where they came upon Lauber, tackled him and pinned him to the ground. As Lauber, his eyes filling with tears, screamed for help, Romney repeatedly clipped his hair with a pair of scissors.

According to the article, Romney also taunted a closeted gay classmate with calls of “atta girl!” in a separate incident.

The story hit at the worst possible time for Romney; as President Obama is lauded by gay rights groups for standing up for the freedom to marry, Romney — who supports a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage — is essentially being painted as a high school movie villain.

The controversy isn’t all negative for Romney; at the very least, his wife Ann’s claim that “there’s a wild and crazy man” inside of Mitt seems far more credible now.

Does anyone find the publishing of this article in the Washingtong Compost on this day, the day after Obozo has freed the gays, to be just a coincidence?

Are you friggin kidding me? Was that like 47 years ago??? FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO?????

    Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

    FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO????? Bwaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha….

Romney’s election is now a stone cold lock! If you leftist nutjobs have to be going back FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO to attack the guy for for high school hijinix, Obozo is in real trouble!

    FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO????? Bwaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Ohhhhh… my stomach hurts I’m laughing so hard…… STOP IT!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for the laugh, Hank!

    Have a nice day!

The Nazis were active seventy years ago and Mitt and his friends still use some of their methods and points of view.

      1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

Ex… Why do you leftist idiots keep making me say the same thing? Lets go over this one more time.

NAZI is an acronym for National Socialist Party. Now, which of the 2 parties in America attracts those who have a socialist ideology? Come on, be honest. That’s right. The DemocRAT party attracts the socialists. So the next time one of you jerks wants to throw around the NAZI name, remember what it stands for and recall your own political ideology as being one and the same with NAZI’s.

        Have a nice day!

        1. ExPAVIC May 10, 2012

          Put Away Your Dictionary Junior

Obviously unknown to you, the old term NAZI was an ultra-right wing point of view that persecuted Jews, homosexuals, gypsies, Polaks, and a few others. Descriptions may have reversed somewhat based on interpretation, but in the days of Hitler, they were ultra-right wing just like the Karl Rove-types today.

          1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

uhhh… Ex… a socialist is a socialist is a socialist, brother. You can try to change the terms, but it is what it is, and socialists are in the DemocRATic party. It’s just plain and simple that way.

Government control over people and resources is a leftist political ideology. Total government control of all resources and people, normally dictatorships, are at the far left of the political spectrum. At the far right of the spectrum is no government and anarchy. NAZIs are much closer to the left than the right, just like socialism is very much a leftist ideology. Republicanism is actually a center right philosophy that maintains that government is necessary, but must be kept in check in order to prevent devolution into tyranny and despotism. It is the philosophical underpinnings of our Constitution.

So, while you leftist nutjobs like to, in Moochelle Obozo’s words “change history”, the facts and truth remain the same, regardless of your efforts at propaganda.

NAZIs are socialists, DemocRATS are socialists. Game over!

            Have a nice day!

          2. jnap May 10, 2012

Obozo, you are a boor. Let’s count just a few things in this country that are Socialistic. First is Social Security and Medicare, then the public school system, roads, airports, police and fire departments and even the military are socialist concerns. Socialism means cooperative enterprises and common ownership. Most government functions are socialist by nature because they provide functions that the individual can not. If you want to live in a world without socialism go find a cave to live in. Oh and before I forget the internet is the most social entity that has ever existed and you certainly enjoy using that social product.

          3. SaneJane May 10, 2012

You are so funny. Thanks for the comic relief.

          4. ObozoMustGo May 11, 2012

            You’re insane Jane!

            Have a nice day!

        2. ralphkr May 10, 2012

Oh, come on, Obozo. Just try and remember which American Party members came up with “Homeland Security” and “New World Order”? The only thing they forgot to adopt from the NAZIs was “Lebensraum”. By the way, I thought you claimed the Democrats were budding Communists which means that they can’t be NAZIs because Nazis have always been mortal enemies of Communists and what we consider socialists today. Nazi socialism considered big business sacrosanct and to be all powerful within their government (sounds like Republicans to me) while socialists have a tendency to nationalize big business. In fact, Hitler considered Germany to be the bastion of Western Civilization against the Asiatic Communist Horde.

          1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

Hi Ralphie! Nice to see you again, my leftist Santa Clause friend. I hope you are well.

Breaking it down, ralph, which country hates what country doesnt really have any bearing on the definition of NAZI. There’s plenty of examples of leftist governments that hate each other.

Let’s look at the plain facts in plain English. NAZIs are socialists, DemocRATS are socialists. Socialist is socialist. It’s just the way it is, brother. Dont hate on me. I’m just the messenger.

            Have a nice day!

Does your Momma know you are a flack for the GOP? Or does she still think you play piano in a house of ill repute? I only counted one use of “leftist nutjob” in this response. Usually you say it multiple times, as if saying it often might provide some substance to your blathering. Oh well, I am sure you will remedy that in the future.

      1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

Go back to sleep, awake, you leftist nutjob! Happy now?

          1. ObozoMustGo May 14, 2012

PE… we can disagree or even throw insults back and forth. It’s all in good fun. But we can also be cordial.

            Have a nice day!

    4. Brad May 10, 2012

If anyone must go, It’s Romney with the mentality he has. This just points out his true nature, which is as always, despicable.

    5. Stephen Schneider May 10, 2012

Thanks for the post Obozo – that’s another $5 I owe to the Obama reelection campaign. Every time you post on this site I will add another 5 bucks to the kitty and I am encouraging everyone on this site to do the same. I always welcome legitimate discussion of issues. I will not tolerate internet trolls and you fit every definition of that word. But don’t go away. Post some more – with your help – the 99% of us that don’t earn his millions (Romney’s) will raise more than enough money and feet on the ground to send him back to his home (wherever that may be – choose any one of a half dozen states or Mexico) where he belongs.

      1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

Add another 5 bucks to the kiddie, SS.

        Have a nice day!

    6. Daniel May 10, 2012

Settle down there tiger.. It is actually somewhat relevant in establishing Romneys views.

I guess Obama living amongst a culture where they ate dog meat 40-something years ago was more relevant as leverage for your candidate.

I know you’re scared of your candidate losing, but buck up. It’s really best for us given the choice here.. You just don’t see it at the moment and probably won’t. I just urge you to save yourself a hernia with all that cackling.

      1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO????? bwaaaahahahahahahahaha ROFLMAO!!!!

    8. almacote May 10, 2012

Your Romney is just proving that treating American citizens like less-than-human has always been his forté. He’s always been a bully and only other bullies would find nothing wrong with that.

    9. Mark S. Schroeder May 10, 2012

People don’t have to go back 40 plus years to look at Romney’s character and what he thinks. Just following his day to day “Off Script” comments will suffice .

    10. ExPAVIC May 10, 2012

      Same Old Same Old

Just like the Hitler Youth who used to beat up Jews and cut their hair.

      1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

Hmmmm… Hitler Youth….. Hmmmmmm…. Why does this remind me of those classrooms of young children singing “Ba-rock Hu-sain O-bama… umm umm ummm” and being indoctrinated by teachers into the leftist mindset and cult of your fearless Fuhrer Obozo???? Hmmmmmm… Hitler Youth….. Hmmmmm

        Have a nice day!

          New History

This from the Karl Rove history book which he keeps next to his Dr. Joseph Goebbels how to book of propaganda.

    11. independant1230 May 10, 2012

Gay bashing, animal cruelty, 47 years ago, children that abuse animals escelate to abuse humans and I will let this slide if you homofobic right wing paranoid folks stop bringing up Obamas mostly fabricated past that is pale by comparison to the terrorist tactics displayed upon another human being and the inhumane treatment of a family pet. I guess that it is ok as long as it was 47 years ago, so with that in mind we should forgive hitler and run him on your ticket because it was longer than 47 years ago. You people make me ashamed to call you Americans, you all need to be medicated and re-educated to the core values of what it means to be an American.

    12. Pete Shea May 10, 2012

Ask the young man who was bullied 47 years ago if it no longer matters.

      1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

Ohhh SHUT UP! Quit being such a pussy, Pete! Boys are boys and they sometimes do stupid things. Get over it!

        Have a nice day!

        1. jnap May 10, 2012

What are you Obozo 12 years old? You sure sound like it? The biggest pussy is the one that would pick on those unable to defend themselves. They always pick on the weak because it makes them look strong to those that don’t know better. At least he admitted to being a bully which is obviously how he has conducted his business life. Hedge funds are the biggest bullies of all.

          1. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

jnap… you’re an idiot! Bain is a Private Equity company, not a hedge fund. But to you leftist nutjobs, reality doesnt make a difference. Only you rapid hatred for others and you emotional please to “get back at those rich guys” is what is important to you nutjobs and useful idiots.

Boys are boys and IT WAS FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO, you idiots!

            Have a nice day.

        2. Robert May 10, 2012

Was Romney a boy when he was at Bain bullying workers? Seems to me, once a boy always a boy!

          1. ObozoMustGo May 11, 2012

So what. Who amongst us has not done stupid things as a teenager? Besides, it was FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!

Of more recent import, however, are issues like:

            1) Obozo’s relationships with terrorist Bill Ayers – NEVER vetted by the media
            2) Obozo’s 20 year attendance at America-Hating, black liberation theology church of Jeremiah Wright – NEVER vetted by the media
            3) Obozo’s connections to gay sex and cocaine use as recent as 10 years ago – NEVER vetted by the media (Google Obama and Larry Sinclair, see what you get)
            4) Fast & Furious – NEVER vetted by the media and stonewalled by Eric The Incompetent

Do you want me to continue?

            Have a nice day!

    13. independant1230 May 10, 2012

Gay bashing, animal cruelty, 47 years ago no excuse, children that abuse animals escalate to abusing humans, so maybe we just have not heard of him dropping the cat of the bridge as a child yet . We know that he has abused and terrorized a fellow human being and showing no regard for the family pet even after it puked all over the car, he cleaned the car and put the dog back on the roof, he showed us then that the car (material object) had more value to him than a family member. He exhibits to us all that everything has a monitary value including family members. if you want to use the 47 years ago for forgiveness then we should forgive hitler because that was 70 years ago, so with that said if us lowley no value citizens wanted to be different than he thinks we should be expect to be held down and terrorized. If you think that what he did is ok, then you are probably a homophobe or a closet case and you should come out and join the rest of the normal thinking fellow human beings who are tolerant of others great and small. Last but least if I were inclined to forgive his transgressions then I would not want to hear all the true or untrue crap that you paranoid republican bigots are spewing about Obama’s past, fair enough?

    14. 101strac May 12, 2012

After reading your letter, and believe me it took all of my willpower to finish it, I’ve come to the conclusion that you are not a full grown man writing these letters. These letters are the work of a teenager, a silly young teenager at that. What adult posts a letter in the style of this ? This latest ridiculous rant of yours. Typing in the laughs and typing in the CAPS and all the rest of your foolishness. I know of nobody but a badly misguided kid who would address serious issues in this way. You’ve probably stumbled onto the one way to get people to pay you some attention. Negative is better than none, hey booby?

      1. ObozoMustGo May 14, 2012

strac… get over yourself you bloviating useful idiot! You’re much too self-important.

        Have a nice day!

  2. Jerry Henry May 10, 2012

Mittmy’s behavior is exactly that of a closet gay that’s really over compensating. I presume that he is just another one of the many gay Mormons.

    1. Maynard Runkle May 10, 2012

Let’s leave religion out of this. He was just trying to help a fellow classmate fit in.

      1. Robert May 10, 2012

Did I miss something here? Pinning some one down and cutting his hair is “trying to help a fellow classmate fit in.” Are you on crack?

  3. sheilab2 May 10, 2012

His true character keeps emerging – bully a gay while a teenager-that behavior just doesn’t to away – it deeply rooted in his so called conscience. The other day he refused to refute a nutball’s comment that the President should be impeached. What other fun stuff are we going to find out about this rich so and so?

    1. CPANY May 10, 2012

“…rich so and so…” or elitist SOB?

    2. CharlotteH May 10, 2012

How many of you people did things when you were teenagers in high school that you wouldn’t do as adults? This entire conversation is absurd! And President Obama’s sudden “switch-a-roo” on how he feels about “same sex marriage” does sound like a weak attempt to try to win votes in the upcoming election. I admit that I voted for him, however, he has proven to me in the last 3 1/2 years that we need to rethink electing him to a second term!!

      1. Tony Ho May 10, 2012

We arent running for the highest office in the country, figure it out…Ill wait

      2. SaneJane May 10, 2012

I would be interested to know what the president has done or not done in the past 3 1/2 years that you think the Republicans will do better. What happened to you? Did you tune into Fox News? Actually, I don’t believe you voted for him because anyone who had the good sense to do it back then, without any accomplishments as president, could only want to see him re-elected.

        1. Judith Jones May 11, 2012

I only wish some of us hypocrite would just shut the f..k up President Obama has done a lot .We are the one who need to start trying to do things for our self and stop waiting on the government to make our life happy it is better to work for $1.00 than sit and wait on the government to make everything right in our life , come on Manner stop fall from the sky ages now .

      3. Robert May 10, 2012

Maybe you could describe to me why we have to rethink voting for Obama for a second term? I do agree with you that there are things I did as a teenager in high school, I wouldn’t do now! But I don’t believe President Obama did a “switch-roo” on how he feels about “gay marriage”. I think president Obama went through what a great many people in the past 20 years have gone through on this issue! It’s called experience and knowledge! If the issue was only political why would he come out before the election. Finally, we have a politician he truthfully tells us what he feels about an issue instead of just saying what some people want to hear!

        1. Shannon May 11, 2012

        2. Life is too Short! May 20, 2012

          Well said…..Thank you!

      4. I agree SaneJane. The economy and US involvement in foreign wars is just now getting back to where it was before the last republican administration raped if for all it was worth. In four more years maybe we will be back to a balanced budget and money in the bank. Isn’t that what we had when Clinton left office? And CharlotteH, what kind of activity would Romney have to been involved with before you though that maybe he should have a psychological evaluation before he is made the Commander in Chief with his finger on the button? If it is OK to gang up on someone and forcefully cut their hair, would it be OK to steal their lunch money? Would it be OK to hold their head under water in the toilet or the pool until they almost died, and if they did die, would it be OK to have the group say that nobady was anywhere near when it happened? Would it be ok to rape someone as long as there was a large group and just a single victim? Maybe it is OK to just pull the wings off flies or burn ants with a magnifying glass. Maybe it is OK to put firecrackers up frog butts and light them. Maybe it is OK to mix vasaline and kerosene and lather up a cat and turn it loose in a field full of burning candles. Hey, the cat still has a chance right? Isn’t that how Jeffrey Dahmer started? Would it be OK if we found out through Romney’s friends, just like we found this out about him, that he is a closet crossdresser who is one hundred percent in favor of Mormon polygamy as long as he can be one of the wives?

      5. Jon May 10, 2012

So Charlotte, to make up for your (alleged) mistake, your willing to jump in and make the same mistake with another one that you think as “Anybody but Obama”..?

      6. Patricia May 10, 2012

I never saw anything this bad happen to anyone when I went to highschool, which was about the same time Romney did. Kids have committed suicide for lesser attacks. Plus Romney said he didn’t actually remember this specific incident. But the kid that it happened to sure remembers. As far as President Obama is concerned, I think that he is very brave to support gay marriage, because I am not sure that it is in his political interest to do so.

      7. Ed Morrison May 11, 2012

“How many of you people did things when you were teenagers in high school that you wouldn’t do as adults?” …Yes, maybe smoking cigarettes behind the gymnasium. –Not being verbally and physically abusive. These traits are imbedded and don’t change. Who wants to take the chance the bully will come out when his finger is over a button to release some nukes? And 3 1/2 years to clean up the absolute chaos left from the previous administrations? …Are you kidding? I don’t recall Superman being one of the contenders in the last election, so Barrack was still the best choice. I rather wish McCain would have won so we could have been ABSOLUTELY sure the situation was FUBAR. Geez, you dealt with 8 years of a mindless child king ruling the world. Give somebody who actually cares at least that time to unscrew the hot mess that was left to him.

      8. guy polito May 11, 2012

“Switch-a-roo”? You haven’t been paying attention even the least bit have you? There certainly hasn’t been any reversal on his position, he came out and said more than once that he believes in equal rights for all Americans, not just a select group and this just reiterates his moral position in that regard. If you prefer a more segregated society then vote for the racist. One can hope you are not representing any real voting block and are just here to troll.

      9. Chris Doyle May 11, 2012

Liar, you never voted for Obama. Then you have the gall to criticize Obama for supporting same sex marriages. I suppose you no nothing of Echasketch Mormon Romney? Puleeeeeeeeeeease.

      10. Sal N May 11, 2012

CharoletteH ,by his stand on gays in the military, President Obama already proved he was a supporter of equality, justice and fairness for ALL.Just like our ‘pledge of allegence’ says. He did not need to say what he did to prove what he stood for. President Obama already had their support… Romney has shown me what he stands for intimidation and bullying in a situation that he feels he has total control.Do you remember doing that in HS ? What did you think of those that did that? Would Romney have gone after that kid if it was a one on one situation?Does or will Romney have the courage of his convictions when he is the ‘only one’that will be held responsible for the decision that must be made.I doubt it. You should be proud to state you voted for President Obama 3 1/2 yrs ago and I am proud and thankful I can vote for him again. I am much better off now ,and so is this country, than what it was 3 1/2 years ago .No thanks to the Republicans in congress that were a large part of what put us in the situation we were in 3 1/2 yrs ago.

      11. Darth May 11, 2012

I am a psychologist and I can tell you that highly intolerant behavior is unlikely to
be resolved without some major life change. Can you point to that change with confidence in Mitt Romney’s life?

      12. forrest57 May 12, 2012

        how stupid or Republican of you;
A switch-a-roo????? who repealed don’t ask policies ??? the things you do at any time in your life reflect the way you were or are taught. Seems like Romney has been a cold and callous bastard most of his life. and to apoligize now seems so ingenious that it turns my stomach!!!!!

  4. David May 10, 2012

Bulling is one of our most significant social issues, even driving some teens and children to suicide. Mitt thinks this is just normal school horseplay? All that we need right now is another Bush-like international bully to get us into more unneeded and illegal wars!

    1. CPANY May 10, 2012

Bullies are popularly branded cowards and Bush certainly fits that mold. Despite his swagger and tough talk, he intentionally skipped his Air Force physical so that he wouldn’t have to serve in combat in Viet Nam.

I don’t know if Mittens is a coward or not, but I have my personal doubts about him. I am convinced that he’s an elitist SOB.

      1. David May 10, 2012

My best friend was drafted an died in Viet Nam. We do NOT need another draft dodger as President!

        1. Robert A. Williams May 10, 2012

Maybe I missed it, but when did you serve in the military? And when did Obama serve in the military?

          1. Mark Keister May 11, 2012

Robert, Obama did not avoid the draft.

  5. Iris May 10, 2012

The thought of a bully for president makes those of us who are against violence shudder.
The thought of an insensitive, intolerant prejudiced president is even worse. We must,
take the stand that we have grown passed the attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that make us such hypocrits in the eyes of the world.

  6. SFSOLSTICE May 10, 2012

Too little Too Late MITT ! We will never elect a bully president ! Say GOODBYE to your chances for becoming President ! You deserve what you get for being a little rich white boy who bullied people different than him. Well, we will never let you bully us again !

  7. CPANY May 10, 2012

“Wild and crazy” or a jerk? Did he pick on anybody who might have had an even chance of kicking his ass?

  8. John A. Flynn May 10, 2012

I love watching you people argue about who’s worse, Obamney or Rombama. Hilarious.

    1. CPANY May 10, 2012

So you think that this is all a charade performed for your entertainment? If one of these Republican warmongers does get elected and maneuvers us into a war, I hope that you’ll be the first to be drafted into the Army and put into a combat unit.

  9. earlwatters May 10, 2012

yes its strange we have a president that can do no wrong.we have fought commies for 70dy years and now its ok to have one in office.what a sorry ass president. id vote for rammey any day even if he was a mass murder.anyone but obama wish patten was still alive and in his 30tys we need a leader a general with military background just say the word ill be there and so will one million other vietnam vets to kick his sorry ass out of office him and holder.his whole group is corrupted .they all need to be put before a firing squad .what has happen to this country? doesnt any one give a shit anymore what are fore fathers sacrificed for our generation .they gave us the best country in the world and we sit on our asses and just watch this mad man destroy this united states in just three years that took our fore fathers 200 years to build.when you go to bed tonight ask your self do i want are constitution and freedom or the crap this commie is throwing out?

    1. ExPAVIC May 10, 2012

      Not Me

This is one Vietnam combat vet you are not speaking for. How about Mittens who was in Marseille France in the sixties passing out condoms to street whores and trying to convert them to Mormonism.

    2. Vicki Rigsby May 10, 2012

earlwatters – I am proud of Obama’s accomplishments. Nobody’s perfect but he has been able to push his agenda forward to make this country better with little help from the Right. What in the world do you believe Obama has done to deserve a firing squad? It’s comments like yours which make me want gun control and lead me to think you’re a bit off your meds.

    3. CPANY May 10, 2012

Is this a letter or someone’s attempt to emulate a rightwing nut case? If it is, it’s over the top. Maybe Karl Rove wrote it. Are you there, Karl?

earlwatters unfortunately your ignorant comments show that you and Romney as well, are not the “best” people this country has to offer.

      1. earlwatters May 11, 2012

what are you one of hitlers men go back where you belong you sorry ass son of a bitch

    5. 1AmericanHoney27 May 10, 2012

From reading your little rant one of the problems I see is the you are a dying breed. The bigger problem is you’re not dying fast enuf. Two hundred years ago people weren’t rude and crass as your words tell evenone you are… Shame on you…. Vote OBAMA/BIDEN. 2012….

    6. Robert May 10, 2012

I guess we know where your priorities are…you will side with the mass murders and the bulliers…that’s ok! At least we know to stop reading your garbage. After all, I do respect your right to say anything you want, but I don’t have to listen!

  10. linda eckhardt May 10, 2012

Time will tell. Character shows. Early. Go home, bully. You need a hair cut.

  11. sarahg May 10, 2012

What a douche bag this guy is. When are Americans going to kick these dinosaurs to the curb and realize these people are on the wrong side of history and are basically totally un-American. This country stands for freedom, equality and civil rights for all. Those who stand for the ways of the old world of privilege, aristocracy, classism and bigotry do not belong in this country, let alone trying to occupy our highest office. These guys are on their way out. It’s just a matter of time before they are totally rejected for the immoral, abusive dirt bags that they are.

    1. CPANY May 10, 2012

I hope that you’re right about their being on their way out, but I wouldn’t bet on it. What amazes me is that middle class people are planning to vote for this piece of crap.

  12. Rex H May 10, 2012

How could you be a “successful” corporate raider and NOT be a bully?
    I can’t stand this bird’s act.

  13. Rhonda Spellman May 10, 2012

Do we really want someone who thinks it’s okay to taught someone who is different than him anywhere near our government??? His Morman beliefs will be next… a bully is a bully is a bully.

    1. PamEllen May 10, 2012

What we are missing here is that kids will be bullies on playgrounds, but they grow up to be bullies. Adults bully adults, Big business bullies the middle and lower classes. I don’t believe that he has “changed his ways” since high school. How can anyone believe anything he says? Do we really want a cooperate bully running our country?

  14. Rapidriver May 10, 2012

It’s not even about picking on someone who is gay, but that he bullied someone with a bunch of other kids. Is that who we want as our president, a bully, a coward who picks on those weaker than himself with the help of other kids. Did he wear a skeleton costume on Halloween? A bully is a coward, plain and simple. Do we want a coward for our next president?

  15. rustingdreams May 10, 2012

I am a registered Republican but will definately be voting Obama this time around. To me, it’s not so much the original act here, as Mitt’s failure to own up to it that is extremely troubling.

    1. CPANY May 10, 2012

I’m also a registered Republican, although I’ve voted Democrat many times. In this election, I think that the Republicans are a bunch of crap who want to resurrect Social Darwinism.

  16. Bernice Epstein May 10, 2012

Mitt Romney didn’t serve in the army.We still don’t know anything about his Income Tax and what per- centage of income he paid this year and the source .. Where are his offshore investments. What he will do to help 99%. We know what he will do for the 1%.Who is he taking back America for?

    1. Safronia11 May 10, 2012

One sure thing we do know is that he is a nasty mean homophobic bully. He just recently said he doesn’t think we should allow gay soldiers. Brilliant. I guess he still doesn’t get that there has always been gay people..AND some of them are soldiers. This man’s IQ must be single digit. His understanding of reality is non-existent. And as for compassion…..he got left behind there too. He demonstrated that when he tortured his dog on the roof of a car. Is this man totally incapable of just simple common sense….that is all it takes. A simple moment of thought before he acts or speaks. Clueless the man is clueless!!! That may be part of the reason he has been running for President for YEARS….and is still in the same place…staring blankly out at the rest of the world…duhhhh

  17. llamos May 10, 2012

How utterly repulsive. “Hijinks?” Not if you leave someone sobbing. He should have apologized and made amends.

    He still should.

  18. Bigspender May 10, 2012

I’m sure that teabaggers are loving this. Finally Romney shows a dogged committment to something.

  19. Alice Johnson May 10, 2012

“Mr. Romney, Sir, what did you know, and when did you know it?”

“It wasn’t gay bullying if I didn’t know he was gay until later. I didn’t know it, and when I did know it, it was years later because some of these people didn’t come out until years later.”

This shithead LIKES to FIRE people. You’re right, this kind of behavior just doesn’t go away. Marching around meting out justice to gay people with a crowd of preppie hangers-on? I can easily see that.

All you bullied teens out there – it REALLY DOES GET BETTER. It does. I know when you look at people in the government like this turd, you think you’re surrounded by hate. But in a few years, you’re going to be a well-rounded, intelligent *thinking* human being, and your life won’t have anything to do with creeps like this. Soon, you’ll be able to choose your own path in life, and the pain you are going through will become the source of feelings both dark and light, and it will give you strength. But know that romney and his ilk live a very narrow existence- there is so much they don’t know and more that they are incapable of feeling. They are one-dimensional and feed themselves on hate.

It gets better. It really does.

    1. CPANY May 10, 2012

It will “get better” if Romney goes down to defeat. if he wins, his ilk will be emboldened.

I guess America has forgotten that the Mormon Religion was started after Brigham Young & Joseph Smith got high on wild peyote, & found a cave to trip in..a white salamander supposedly spoke to the men & ordered them to begin a new belief; one that put men in charge, women in slavery-marriages at the age of twelve, & countless offspring ! After that story hit in the early ‘8O’s when I lived in Hawaii, I eagerly awaited the knock of the Missionaries on my door instead of unleashing the dogs this time..I got to laugh in the very red faces of Mormons who were trying to down-play the hilarious bombshell of truth. Brigham & Young were pathetic middle-aged men who needed an excuse to screw a LOT of teenage girls & get away with it..it helped that they found women dumb enough to go along with the plan & provide female offspring for the picking. THIS is the type of ‘religion’ Mitt Romney practices; an empire founded on hallucinogens & the hormones of Horny Old Men..I don’t see a bit of difference from the Taliban or Al Quaida, with their submissive women & brain-washed male members willing to do anything for their God..except that the Mormons couldn’t wait until death to get at 72 virgins, LOL! Oh yeah; Mitt will fix America..& Women’s Rights will be pushed back a 100 years, Blacks will be back in the cotton fields, & my Gay Brethren openly hanged for our way of life..sure, vote for the dumbfuck; what the hell..

    1. Maynard Runkle May 10, 2012

Only cultist Mormons are like that. The rest are hard working, intelligent, dedicated people who try to help others find a better life. They tithe which means they give 1/10 of their income to the church. They often serve two year Missions to bring enlightenment to all. You were not open enough to heed their admonishments and apparently are still quite unhappy. Although I may be wrong about that as you did write “LOL.”Mormons rarely have cotton fields these days. I have never heard of them hanging your Gay Brethren either. Like Muslims, they do not believe in smoking or drinking alcohol, even caffeine is off limits. There is no evidence they were on peyote, which is from the Southwest, not Elmira, N.Y. where they saw the white salamander. It may have been an albino. I have encountered red spotted black salamanders in early spring when doing yard work and even though more mundane, they do leave quite an impression.
Both Joseph Smith and his brother Hiram were martyred by a mob on the steps of the Carthage, Illinois jail. Brigham led many West to escape the rabid persecution and many of the women were unaccompanied by husbands. What would you have done? Or in your case, what if there had been a surplus of young males on the wagon train? Be honest! In Biblical times well-to-do men had numerous wives. Even wise old Solomon is said to have had 400 wives and 300 concubines, but then again he may have exaggerated a bit. Still, even a lesser number would be mind boggling. Most Mormons now follow the pagan practice of monogamy.

      1. Robert May 10, 2012

You just killed one of Romney’s arguments! Marriage can only be between ONE man and One woman! Now you are saying there are situations where you can have one man and many women? i.e. when the Mormons moved west! Actually, I can’t find any historical accounts of woman having more than one husband though? hmmmmm So the Mormon church does believe that if you live in a community where there are a lot of woman and a few men, then the men can have more than one wife? I lived for six years in a predominantly Mormon community in Idaho and i know what kind of slaves your women are and how you treat those in the community who don’t believe as you do. I even had Mormon’s argue with me that blacks could never reach the “highest heaven”. I was told they are black because they were cursed?

Fascinating, that you should mention “Or in your case, what if there had been a surplus of young males on the wagon train?” You answer the question? Seems that would be a case for gay sex? Is that what you are suggesting? And your missionary program places young men ONLY into situations in your mission program, no dating and supposedly no sex for two years! What do these young men do with their sexual desires? The rumor in Idaho always was that the Mormons had a serious problem with homosexuality in their mission program!
Their young missionaries did what you allege, that when there are many men and no women, homosexuality must be ok!

        1. PamEllen May 10, 2012

          Heard a good quote recently;
“Claiming that someone else’s marriage is against YOUR religion is like being angry at someone for eating a doughnut because YOU are on a diet.”

I couldn’t help but lighten the mood. I agree with Robert! Great comments!

  22. CPANY May 10, 2012

Forty years later this jerk apologizes for bullying a gay kid? He’ll surely do anything to get elected.

Has anybody interviewed this guy Lauber to get his take on all of this? Maybe he’d like an opportunity to kick Romney’s ass in a fair fight. Judging from the article, Romney cut the kid’s hair while others held the kid down. Romney sure was a tough guy in his youth.

  23. Mark May 10, 2012

I actually thought Romney had a chance of winning against Obama, but he is now fully screwed .

  24. grannyk8 May 10, 2012

    A Paul Harvey moment.

  25. Val TwoWolves May 10, 2012

The bullying itself is an issue. Whether the targeted individual was gay or straight, out or not, we also ought to be concerned w/ Romney’s attitude that it was okay for him to assault and batter a fellow student simply because he was “different”.
If he were to bring this arrogant attitude into foreign affairs, our nation would indeed be in trouble.

  26. Bob Jones May 10, 2012

He still looks like a bully to me. Just look at his hair cut. The way he does things also looks like he has not changed after he grew up!!!

  27. Rj Young May 10, 2012

With my apologies to the late Ted Knight, it seems that every time Mitt Romney opens his mouth, he sounds like the character Ted Baxter from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”, although Ted Baxter had a lot more sense. You know, it is amazing that this clown was the governor of Mass. Did the rest of the state vote or just Beacon Hill? What a snob! When I was a kid, one of my favorite comic book was Harvey’s “Richie Rich”. Too bad Romney didn’t read it. Richie had a heart, Romney doesn’t.

    1. Patricia May 10, 2012

You’re right. I hadn’t thought of it before, but Romney does remind me of the Ted Baxter character. Pompous, stupid and cares only about himself.

  28. Kenneth Kurtz May 10, 2012

Duh he just doesn’t get it! It’s not important whether he was openly gay, in the closet, or even gay at all. Bullying anyone because they are different from you in wrong. His using the excuse he didn’t know he was gay, so then it was OK, just shows what a creep this man really is. Let’s play a little prank and bomb Iran just to scare them….sounds like it could be fun hey!

Willard is named appropriately, he’s a “rat”. It’s not surprising that he’s a bully. He’s not only a bully but a liar as well. Everyday while campaigning he is either taking credit for Obama’s achievements or lying about them. Anyone that can put their family dog after getting sick on top of their car is not a good human being. Willard is not fit to run this country.

  30. Gary Muuff May 10, 2012

will the real mitt romney please stand up

  31. Fred May 10, 2012

When I went to high school in the early 60’s, the fad was the surfer look, white levis, faded madras shirts and bleach blonde hair that was combed straight on both sides of a single part.
Thank God we didn’t have romney and his goon squad patrol running around, to determine what is right and what is not.

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

Well romney and his goon squad are still here!

  32. Constant Comment May 10, 2012

We’ve already had one president who was a cheerleader and who tried to outdo his rich father. Look how that worked out.

  33. Safronia11 May 10, 2012

I only have to hear this jerk talk for a couple minutes..notice his constant, smug smirk to know exactly what he was/is/always will be. He has superiority written all over him. He is the typical spoiled little rich boy who married the spoiled little rich girl & made spoiled little rich babies…UGGGGGHHHH

  34. Paul Schoaff May 10, 2012

Given the first generation privilege with which he was surrounded as he grew up, one can easily surmise that he embraced the privilege and ignored the “noblesse oblige” that we would like to believe comes with families who have wealth for several generations. His father might have understood the concept of ‘giving back’, but I’m afraid Mitt R. lacks his father’s grace and practical sense.

That said, wealth or not, a man’s personality will become quite evident as a result of the duress of campaigning for the big job. Obama has grace and style. Mitt doesn’t.

  35. Tracy Goode May 10, 2012

I know people will brush this off and say “well, he was young”, but this isn’t just a mistake, this is a character flaw. I can’t imagine me or any of my kids doing something like this. They may get into a fight and try to kick someone’s butt, but the other party would have definitely had to have given them a good reason. lol. Just goes toward the impression that Mitt Romney is a snob, of low moral character, and a bully (and throw in sexist, too! “atta girl”)

  36. dardyl May 10, 2012

The bullying reminds me of Obama running roughshod over the people when he ramrodded the health care bill through without a twing of how the people felt. Or how he tried to back holding trials for the terrorists in the states instead of with the military but had to back down because of public outrage. Or how he did various other outrageous acts with the advice of his czars over great protests of the people. Bullying is disgusting, no matter from whom it comes. Now, everyone feels free to forget that Obama is a bully too. As for the religion aspect, I don’t agree with the Mormons, but I don’t agree with Obama’s Preacher Wright either. What a farce for a nurturing sustaining pastor. Using the pulpit to spew hate and racism. There is enough finger pointing to go around. Just remember, neither is blameless, it is just that the new hasn’t worn off this newest stunner. It will be blasted until the next outrage comes up. Once again, homosexuality is against every moral standard in and out of the Bible. That shouldn’t give permission to bully or cut someone’s hair, but as it says in the Bible, you reap what you sow. It is up to each of us to police ourselves. Neither of these men has done that.

    1. Patricia May 10, 2012

Gay marriage has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with equal rights for everyone.

    2. Robert May 10, 2012

Lets make it clear! Obama didn’t ram rod anything! He had no vote! Congress voted to pass the new health care law! Have you ever read the Constitution. It says that only Congress can pass a law! Anyone who puts health care in the same category of bullying, in my mind falls into the category of crack pot!

      1. dardyl May 10, 2012

Of course I’ve read the Constitution and I know that the health care bill was passed by Congress, which was controlled by the Dems. The supreme leader of the Dems is the President. Even Polosi said we need to pass this so you can find out what is it. There was a great outcry against the bill, and in turning a deaf ear to the will of the people, they and their leader, the President, passed it anyway. That is bullying and abuse of power. I didn’t put health care in the same category as bullying. I put the ACTION in the same category. In my mind anyone who can’t make the mental leaps to connect the dots falls into the category of crackpot.

  37. ObozoMustGo May 10, 2012

All this gay talk. While I know it excites you leftist nutjobs, dont be mistaken into thinking this is such a big deal. There will be literally hundreds of these distractions that are coordinated between the WH and the State controlled media. The timing of Obozo freeing the gays yesterday and this article showing that Romney supposedly hates the gays is NOT a coincidence. These are coordinated distractions to get the rest of us arguing about crap that does not make a damned bit of difference, expecially something from FORTY SEVEN YEARS AGO!!!!

BH Obozo has had a sum total of 1 (one) success. Ordering the killing of OBL. That’s it. There is nothing else in 4 years. Nothing. And even that isnt really as big a deal for him as it is for the soldiers who actually did the mission.

Lets take a look at some of Obozo’s other “successes”…….

    1) Obozo comes into office $9T in debt. 3.5 years later, $16T in debt
    2) 2 years complete control of the government. NO budget as required by the Constitution. Still has no budget. The one budget he presented that was actually voted on by the Senate wend down to defeat by a vote of 97 to 0. Nice work Mr. President!!! THAT IS an accomplishment!
    3) A new bankrupting entitlement program called Obozocare jammed through congress against the vast majority of Americans who were against it (and still are) and with the blessings of the idiot Nancy Piglosi who said “we have to pass the bill before we know what is in it”. And after all that, the crowing achievement of this president will be struck down like a rabid dog by the SCOTUS. Nice work, Mr. President!
    4) Persistent unemployment that has been the worst since the Great Depression, especially among blacks and young people. His administration keeps claiming unemployment is going down, but in reality, they manipulate the formula by reducing the # of jobs available. And then they claim that over 8% unemployment is good! Quite an accomplishment in propaganda, but not economics, Mr. President.
    5) Promises to close Gitmo…. instead, he spends $750K on a soccer field for terrorists. Dont get me wrong, Gitmo should stay open. This is an example of how stupid and naive Obozo really is. Nice accomplishment, Mr. President!
    6) Gas prices are up 100%++ across the nation. And Obozo is so dumb he actually believes that increasing supply has no effect on prices… what an idiot! Blocking EVERY permit that has come before his administration and blocking pipelines that increase supplies does HAVE consequences, Mr. President. Gas prices are through the roof! Nice going Mr. President!
    7) Real inflation rates are close to 8% or higher. Who measures inflation without food and fuel??????? Obozo does! Another strong achievement in propaganda, Mr. President!
    8) SOLYNDRA!!!!!!!! need I say more?
    9) OK, I will. SOLAR TRUST… another BILLION DOLLAR boondoggle in your attempt to play venture capitalist with taxpayer money that actually goes to your FAT CAT financier friends who are big donors. Nice money laundering accomplishment, Mr. President! Should I say more? OK.. I will…
    10) ECOTALITY – Another “green” Obozo investment disaster. Obozo gave them $115 MILLION. The SEC investigates fraud at the company. While that’s going on, Obozo gives them another $26 MILLION…. What an idiot! Nice accomplishment Mr. President!
    11) Fast and Furious!!!!! If this was a Republican Admin, all of you nutjobs that write on this web site would be going justifiably ballistic!! It would be the lead story on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSLSD, CNN, etc. etc.
    12) Same with the crook Jon Corzine. He steals $2B in client money, much of it farmers money, to cover his own bad bets. Then he gets to continue on raising money for Obozo like nothing ever happened. Where is Eric The Incompetent Holder? ……… crickets………. crickets……….. crickets………. Thought so!

I’ll continue to refocus the discussion on what is important and not these foolish smokescreens the left throws up to obfuscate Obozo’s true failure as a socialist in the White House.

    Have a nice day!

    1. Patricia May 10, 2012

      Y0u are wrong again

How about Gadhafi? Who ordered the 6th Fleet to the Bay of Benghazi to support anti-Gadhafi forces and who ordered drones to prevent Gadhafi forces from accessing his stores of WMDs?

You really don’t have your facts together much. You would have made a great Hitler Youth. Say, have you ever chased a Jew and cut their hair?

      1. ObozoMustGo May 11, 2012

Ex.. I find it ironic how you leftist nutjobs absolutely RAILED against Bush for his wars, yet the only successes you can cite for Obozo are exactly about WAR! And Libya was an illegal war if there ever was one. Not only are you a leftist nutjob and useful idiot, but you’re a horrible hypocrite, to boot!

You obviously like the use of the “Hitler” label, but you’ve never refuted my assertion that the DumbocRATic party is the home to socialists in America. I suppose your silence is acceptance in this matter.

        Have a nice day!

        1. ExPAVIC May 11, 2012

          So Typical

Another common Republican who likes to distort facts and rewrite historical phenomena for their own narrow-minded uses. Does that apply to Iraqi non-existent WMDs. What is your distortion to explain that away?

When Rush Limbaugh is replaced you would be a prime candidate for the job of fact distortions. Facts are the American public is up to your antics after George W. Bush used his eight years in office to screw things so badly that it is going to take Obama two terms to straighten it out, despite “Boners’ efforts to the contrary.

On November 7th you can whine that the American public wasn’t ready for Mitt’s antics, or couldn’t stomach them. Karl Rove isn’t going to pull this one out.

  38. dardyl May 10, 2012

As an afterthought, you could ask the real Obama to stand up. He can hardly make a decision and when he does he has to retract. Does anyone really know him?

    1. Patricia May 10, 2012

I think President Obama is extremely brave for agreeing that gays should be able to marry. I think he may lose votes because of it. But I admire him even more for it.

    2. Robert May 10, 2012

Obama has made many more decisions during his 3.5 years than the Congressional Republicans have! Buddy you need to start selling the roses and stop watching FOX News!

  39. dctrdeath May 10, 2012

Is this the best the Republicans can come up with to go against Obama? As a Republican I am very discouraged.

  40. Ruby Bozeman Davis May 10, 2012

  41. james May 10, 2012

Sadly I think this really won’t mean much because the people who would care aren’t voting for him anyway. The people who most need to learn from this are the ones least likely to be touched by the story, or even admits it means anything. Bottom line is, I don’t think Mitt was going to get much of the gay vote anyway so he doesn’t really care.

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

What about all the people who have been bullied in school? Romney seems to say that bullying is ok as long as you don’t know the person is gay! Or is it ok if you know the person is ok? Does that mean he thinks bullying is ok in some circumstances? How disgusting! Now I know what happened at Bain!

  42. ballsnow May 10, 2012

Romney has no where to go but further down. We all remember bullies like Romney in school. I wouldn’t go to a high school reunion for years upon years, because I was afraid I would come across some of this trash, and would sock them. Some things you never forget.

  43. Rapidriver May 10, 2012

Why do Republicans think it is a healthy part of growing up to bully and hurt children? If ever there was or is a reason to not be a Republican this has got to be it. I could forgive Mitt for doing it, but to shrug it off as “Boys will be boys” shows he really doesn’t think what he did was all that bad, and probably thinks the rest of us are just knee-jerk liberals, and can’t figure out why we’re picking on him. We’re not picking we’re just fighting back. The best way to stop bullies is to fight back.

  44. Patricia May 10, 2012

Once a bully always a bully. It’s sad that Romney is the best that the Republicans can come up with.

    1. Kathleen Gee May 10, 2012

Trust me, Patricia, the GOP doesn’t like Mittens either. That’s why so many of us are voting for Ron Paul.

      1. bingo! Ron Paul is the only “logical” choice. I am not going to vote for the lesser of evils, I will vote for the candidate that will represent the people, not wall st.
Anyways, I would prefer my tax dollars to be used here in America, not for other countries, and it would be nice if we could stop these phony wars too.

  45. Robert A. Williams May 10, 2012

Damn – I wonder what kind of pranks Obama did in high school and college. Oh – that’s right. All of Obama’s records are sealed. Well, let’s talk to some of Obama’s schoolmates.

What? None of them can be found? Imagine that. It’s almost like Obama had something to hide.

    1. DaGuerre May 10, 2012

      You’re an idiot.

    2. ExPAVIC May 10, 2012

Has anyone publicly called you an a-hole? Consider it done.

      1. PamEllen May 10, 2012

        I will “second” that!

    3. Robert May 10, 2012

What evidence do you have that Obama’s records are sealed? This revelation against Romney never came from his school record, which is and should be “sealed”. This evidence came from the person who was bullied! You don’t forget when you are held down by someone’s thugs and then they cut off your hair! I am sure Romney’s rich father got involved…Go ahead anyone who was bullied by Obama bring it forth! Just because someone doesn’t come forward and accuse me of something I have done in the past doesn’t mean I did something bad? What kind of irrational thinking is that! If you have something against Obama, spit it out! Otherwise, I suggest you be careful, we do have a law against lying, that is called defamation! However, if it is true, is not defamation. Romney admits he did it!

  46. Barry Evans May 10, 2012

Romney ” To the gays I went to school with.. sorry for being horrible to you, it’s not my nature to be mean. To gays everywhere, if you think you can marry eachother, you can fuck off.”

  47. Richard Nichols May 10, 2012

If Romneey was a bully at 18 what do you think he’ll be now ? I was bullied , joined the service and much to my bullies sorrow, called him out

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

      So lets call him out!

  48. dolliesue May 10, 2012

The wealthy are some of the worst bullies in schools

  49. Mark Keister May 10, 2012

WHY is it not surprising to find Mitt a bully? Scratch the patina of his rectitude and find the base metal . . .

  50. Blue May 10, 2012

Not surprised that Mitt Romney was apart of any bullying or pranks in school from K-12 and especially in college and universities. Too bad he is not doing it now, so he can be taken to task in ways he has no idea would happen to him and family.

    1. PamEllen May 10, 2012

However, the bullies in schools are still getting away with being bullies. Administrators are afraid of bullies and lawsuits! Administrators bully teachers, parents bully teachers, students feel entitlement and bully teachers. Until we have adults who set a good example about how to treat people, there will always be bullies. And we certainly don’t need one in the White House!

  51. Blue May 10, 2012

Too bad today’s Gays are not going to have a chance at Mitt Romney, to try that prank again!

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

Actually they do! Vote for Obama, 2012! If any Log Cabin Republicans vote for this clown they are an insult to their kind!

  52. SaneJane May 10, 2012

People who support him will cheer at this news. If he had beaten the other student they would think that was even better. Bullies, tough guys, gun toters (concealed carry is a favored phrase right now like we couldn’t get permits before) are their heroes. This makes Romney more attractive than anything else he has done.

  53. Maricia12 May 10, 2012

It is a well known fact that Mormon’s are against homosexuality and it does not surprise me that Romney would take part in being cruel to someone he thinks is different. Some of the so called good Christians are violent in nature. It had to be shortly after this that he went on his two yr mission for his church. I am sure Romney had an idea this guy was gay from the way he talked about him even though he says he did not know for sure until years later when he came out. He makes more excuses for his actions and what is worse, he believes them himself. There are just way too many things about Romney that send up red flag warnings and we need to pay close attention to them. He seems to have a cruel streak about him and that is obvious in the way he does not care about those who are less fortunate. He did not care about those who lost their jobs when he ruthlessly went in and raided companies that were failing and made huge profits from them. Compassion for others says a lot about a person’s character.

  54. Tony Ho May 10, 2012

Our President is too awesome for words. If Romney wins Im moving to Canada. Its an obvious choice…good progressive and fair. Or racist rich out of touch.

  55. Maricia12 May 10, 2012

We are not talking about just anyone. We are discussing the true character of a man who wants to lead our country and so far he fails. Especially when you think this man has spent his entire life under the great influence of his religion which is far reaching even more so than most Christian religions. Jesus did not teach cruelty and apparently his religion has failed to teach him this, maybe people should re-think their choices for President. Unfortunately this is the best the GOP can come up with.

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

Romney says he has always felt marriage should be between one woman and one man. well he certainly wasn’t raised that way. I believe Romney has admitted he was born in Mexico in a polygamy colony? Why haven’t the “birthers” gone after him? They claim Obama was born in Africa. Obama also had an American citizen as a parent! Maybe someone can help me understand this!

      1. Maricia12 May 10, 2012

I am not a supporter of Romney but I am a supporter of the truth and I believe the Romney you are referring to was his grandfather. My sister is a Mormon and I am still puzzled how she became one and how she can believe the things they do but they can really suck you in and make you think you are so special. I think it is all a bunch of nonsense with their magic underwear and secret temple hypocracy. Most of the LDS (Mormon) sects abide by the local laws and do not have multiple wives. They distance themselves from those that still practice polygamy.

    2. Jon May 10, 2012

Not really, but they seem to seriously think it.

  56. evsguy May 10, 2012

I am so sorry that this is the kind of man the Republicans want in the White House. Things do come to haunt you in life. But I guess if you have money you can do what you want and when you want

  57. I have to take Romney’s appology; “I had no idea that this person might have been gay. I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks during high school and some may have gone too far. And for that I apologize,” at face value. After all, I’m sure that even now he would be the first to allow and not hold a grudge or place criminal charges against an overwhelming group who just for yucks held him down and cut parts off of him. I’m sure he would still admit that it was just a prank and hijinks and after all, boys will be boys. His balls would be safe because they are only visable and apparent when he is leading a large group that is attacking some poor kid who is all alone. I know those are the traits that I want in a president. I think that Sarah Palin should run for vice president. Her ability to shoot wildlife from the door of a hovering helicopter is something that she could teach the president. And as Secretary of Offense they should appoint Ted Nugent. He can show them both how to machine gun hampsters from blinds hidden near salt licks in petting zoos.

  58. Rick de Luna May 10, 2012

It was criminal to do what he did, and he got away with it, in todays world this not okay, he is not fit for America’s highest office. His amends are lacking and his regrets if any is that his past came to follow him he needs to resign if he is truly a Mormon and he knows it, but his ambitous needs circumvent any logic.

  59. Patricia May 10, 2012

I know that highschool was a long time ago for Romney. Even so, I never saw anyone do anything that horrifying when I went to school & I went to highschool in the South in the late 1960s.. Some kids have commited suicide for less than what Romney and his highschool thugs did to this poor boy. Romney is not the kind of person I would ever want to be our President. By the time you are in highschool much of your belief systems are already set — so I say once a bully, always a bully.

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

He sure bullied a lot of people at Bain! I guess if you are making a lot of money then it is ok to bully! I went to a private religious high school, and I never saw anything like this either! I am wondering what his children think of this?

  60. Kellie Cantwell May 10, 2012

    Why am I Not surprised?

  61. PamEllen May 10, 2012

He has no moral compass and is not fit to be president. Even 25+ years ago, people knew that hurting others was wrong. What an SOB!!!

  62. likelystory2 May 10, 2012

I am absolutely dumbstruck by this series of events beginning with what seems to have been a bit of a gaffe on the part of Joe Biden. I don’t think he intended to go there on MTP on Sunday. Yet, here we are four days later. The President has come out in favor of LGBT rights to marry, and Mitt Romney has admitted to having been an evil anti-gay monster in prep school. I’m tellin’ ya’. You can’t plan this. If it somehow was planned, it’s totally brilliant, but I really don’t think you can plan this.

    1. Robert May 10, 2012

I suspect there will be much much more!

  63. Sidney R Smith May 10, 2012

Why is it that I’m not surprised to find out Mitt Romney’s a Gay Basher. There’s so many things to find out about this character, that is you’ll never find out he’s presidential material.

  64. cherokee36 May 10, 2012

Miit, that is NOT an apology. To say that “I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks during high school and some may have gone too far. And for that I apologize,” is not apologizing. Some MAY have gone too far is not acceptable. They DID go wrong and your snobish response was hurtful and injurious. If you want to apologize, say, “I did some hurtful things to innocent people. They were injured and I apologize.” Your attempts are insincere and half-hearted.

  65. Jon May 10, 2012

A “Wild and crazy man?”.. In my day wild and crazy guys like that were considered weaselly punks. This is H.S. hazing without the chapter. Now, no one should judge another for the things they did as kids but I keep reminiscing to only a week or so ago when everybody couldn’t get enough of Obama having eaten dog when he was a young child.. Guess forgiveness depends on who you are and the way you look at equality. So, go ahead, let’s have some fun on the other side of that coin, that is.. If you see humor in elitist, bigoted bullies. OH!..

“The people involved didn’t come out of the closet until years later,” Romney told a Fox News radio show. Most likely because of the hatred and intimidation that he (and possibly his cohorts) laid on him (and most likely others) during their time in H.S., then he continues, ““I had no idea that this person might have been gay.”.. Calling others who witnessed it personally, liars but that’s alright, as it has gone so far I’m certain when the truth comes out that he’ll do another flip-flop while shaking his trusty etch-a-sketch.

  66. Maynard Runkle May 11, 2012

I am a liberal, but I cannot support either candidate. Hazing a classmate back then was not that controversial. Still, Obama thinks it’s acceptable to assassinate people without due process and he lied about vetoing NDAA 2012. He goes along with indefinite incarceration without a trial, getting rid of posse comitatus and the$63 billion that was quietly appropriated to provide us with our very own domestic drones, which can be used for spying or killing. He supported the Libyan Muslim extremists destabilizing a regime that had provided women with more freedoms. Now, they’ll go back to extremist fanatacism. Great move.

  67. Brian Holland May 11, 2012

How can you people be so hard on Mitt. After all, he singlehandedly saved our car companies, didn’t he? At least that’s what he says now. Mitt wouldn’t tell a lie, would he?

  68. Yachachiq May 11, 2012

Hmm, speaking of high school pranks ” some may have gone too far. ”
    “may have”?
    You think? ? ?

  69. Lynn Jensen May 11, 2012

You have to be kidding me! Who gives a crap what some 18 year old did 50 years ago? Get serious. This country has real issues. Whether Obama is reelected or Romney becomes the President, the person who will preside over the country is not an 18 year old from decades ago.

Let’s focus on 50 million people who are uninsured. Let’s focus on returning education to the engine for prosperity that it once was. Let’s get our immigration policies straightened out. Let’s worry about infrasturcture and R&D.

Stop diverting attention to the trivial, irrelevant and silly. We can do better than this to discuss and debate the fundamental issues.

Let us collectively remove our heads from a dark safe place and come into the sunlight to have real discussions about how we move our country to health and prosperity for all.

    1. CAThinker May 11, 2012

Easy there… Acknowledging this character flaw is coming into the sunlight – ignoring it is keeping your head in that dark, safe place. You should give a crap about what an 18 year old did 50 years ago if that 18 year old is going to be president. We are all products of our youth and to ignore that is naive and in this case dangerous. What is so concerning is that he didn’t own up to the incident and he didn’t apologize. I would have liked to hear him say, “Yes I am responsible and I dearly regret the incident. But that was 50 years ago and I am not that person any more.” He is that same person only 50 years older. The lack of integrity and character that he’s demonstrated on the campaign trail isn’t a new development; it’s who he is and who he was. That is why you should give a crap.

  70. SusieQ1701 May 11, 2012

The President of the United States is the president of ALL the people of the United States, that includes Gay people. I am not gay but that doesnt mean I dont think they deserve the same rights as I have as an AMERICAN, I am proud of President Obama for taking this stand,
as anyone who really knows whats going on would be. Turn off FOX news people, its not news, its entertainment for people who are brainwashed, If you cant see all the good this president has done in the past 3.5 years, then I really suggest you come out of the cave, not the closet, and see the reality of whats going on, not the lies the republicans want you to believe ! As for this grandmother whos seen alot in the last 60 years, I will be very happy
to vote for My president again, and he will be a two term president !

  71. Eric Boyer May 11, 2012

    His real confession:

“OK. Maybe I did. What are you gonna do about it, Skolnick? You gonna make a little speech? It’s not gonna do any good. Wanna know why? Because I’m strong and you’re weak. Because I’m the type of guy that everybody here wants to be like, and you are pathetic. That’s the way it is. That’s the way it’s always gonna be, and there’s nothing you or your pencil-neck geek friends can do or say about it. Comprende, d*ckhead?”

Roger from Revenge of the Nerds 2.

  72. MarilynB May 11, 2012

The bulling and putting the dog on top of the car are disturbing. Years later he laughs about it. He also has no idea how most people live. Some of the things he says make me thnk he only knows how rich people live and doesn’t care or can’t or won’t comprehend how the rest of us live.

  73. mark4four May 11, 2012

Here’s a man who wears his religion on his sleeve, claiming to be highly moral and an adherent of family values, but what have we learned about the choices he’s made when faced with right vs. wrong? He’s chosen cruelty to vulnerable people, whether as a bully in high school or an opponent of marriage rights for LGBT people or a proponent of slashing government programs for the weakest and poorest. He’s chosen dishonesty when confronted by embarrassing statements out of the past — trying to take credit for saving the auto industry when he should have apologized for wishing the auto makers would go bankrupt, lying about how he would have handled the hunt for bin Laden. He even opted for cruelty to a helpless animal by strapping the family dog to the roof of the car on a long trip. He has no spine, and he has no character. What a pathetic standard bearer for one of the major political parties.

  74. ralphkr May 11, 2012

Hey, Obozo, it is a real shame that you have never studied history. The German Nazis were the biggest and most vicious enemy of the German Communists from the very inception of the Nazi party. In fact, one of the driving forces in the formation of the Nazi party was to keep the Communists out of power in Germany. Another thing to remember is that just because an organization has the word Socialist in its name has nothing to do with whether it is actually a socialist group just as if a group has word Democratic in its name does not mean it is a Democracy. Consider all those dictatorships who call their country a Democracy but they have very limited elections. The Nazis definitely were right wing and not left wing Socialists such as the UK. UK and other socialist countries tend to nationalize industry while the Nazis venerated and protected the rights of industry (unless Jewish owned) and the Nazis would have applauded the Republican Supreme Court decision that corporations were people. By the way one of my grandparents was from Prussia, 2 were from Germany, and 1 was mongrel American (her people had been here since the 1700s) so I tend to pay attention to European history.

  75. eltucco May 11, 2012

you republicans better think twice about making this “person” president of the united states. He has so many skeletons in his closet and they will be exposed the closer it gets to election time.

  76. Patrick May 11, 2012

Romney’s defense that he wasn’t aware that his schoolmate, Jon Lauber was gay at the time he led what amounts to a hazing incident against him is disingenuous. I was in high school in the 70’s and there were several incidents in our rural school where SUSPECTED homosexuals were taunted and harrassed for simply looking or acting gay. How is what Romney and his band of spoiled rotten, elitest thugs inflicted on Lauber any different? This is just another example of Mitt’s flawed judgement, willingness to waffle on issues for political benefit, his misguided sense of decency and questionable character. And his wife, Ann has the nerve to esentially dismiss his antics as boys being boys. It’s parents like this who help perpetuate the outrageous bullying that goes in our schools today. Not only is Mitt unfit to be president of the United States…he’s an unfit example for children on how to behave in a civil society. And now, as an adult, his position on gay rights is evidence of his continued self-righteous judgement and contempt for gays and lesbians. If he and his socially conservative religious brethern had their way, they would change our country into the Theocratic States of America in order to reflect their narrow-minded, self-righteous and bigoted views. God help us if he gets elected.

  77. David Cox May 11, 2012

and some might have gone too far…

    What is “too far,” Mitt?

I have no doubt that all of us do things that can be over the top… but is there a moment when we realize that the issues of isolating a group of persons… categorized by human labeling, or profiling as it were, is not only not appropriate and beyond the vale of being civil or civilized, lacking the level of human decency that we want within our world?

  78. ObozoMustGo May 11, 2012

Another piece of evidence that the leftist nutjobs that write on this site are nothing more than a propaganda arm for the Obozo reelection efforts. Figures… this is all muchado about nothing. In fact, John Lauber’s family has released statements doubting the accounts of any incidents and reprimanding Obozo for using their son and brother (now deceased from liver cancer) as a political game piece.

Quote from the family: “The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda,” she said. “There will be no more comments from the family.”

This real news is being brought to you from a real website, The Blaze. Go there for objective reporting that rips on both parties, when needed.

    Have a nice day!

  79. SEDGFLD May 11, 2012

This act was a crime, regardless of whether he thought the person was gay or not. The same people who are condoning the action and Romney’s non-apology would be screaming that another person be prosecuted for the crime.

  80. Emily Dietle May 11, 2012

That is NOT an apology or even an acknowledgement. He’s trying to let this one slip away, but it proves his history of bigotry.

  81. wayneonly May 11, 2012

I graduated high school 46 years ago. I suffered bulling all through grade and high school,, not because I was or am gay, but because I was poor and raised by a single parent (mother). In rural America in the 1950s divorce was almost unheard of and uninformed children had a tendency to “tease” and ostracize others who were different. And the bulling has not changed, just the reasons. And parents still don’t get it. Bulling has a lasting effect, both for the bullied and the bullier. Once a bully, always a bully unless major intervention happens. And bulling often ruins the confidence of the bullied. To condone bulling, past and present is wrong. And to condone it in a Presidential candidate is unwise especially when the candidate doesn’t appear genuinely contrite. But unfortunately those same bullies are often the ones who “get ahead” as they step over the weaker. Parents, please watch closely the action of your children for signs of bulling (both aggressor and receiver) and voters be alert for signs of a bully in politics.

I am not sold on Obama’s policies and especially “same sex” marriage, but still believe Romney is still the worst of candidates. Oh for better choices.

  82. 03howard47 May 11, 2012

What is your base for judging the actions of either President Barack Obama or president nominee Mitt Romney? Is it based on the truth, the word of God, who created you, me and everything around us or do you judge on your personal view or the views others whom God also created? No one’s view can be better than of his creator who knows all including us. We all have opinions but the validity of the source. We all have things that we are ashame of and come short of God’s glory. The question is are we still in that same rut or have we accepted God and changed our direction. What really would be good new and it still can occur is that President Obama admits to accepting God through Jesus Christ and the president’s assessment on is in complete agreement with God’s scripture. I’m praying this will happen before it’s too late. That would be good news!!!

  83. God's Missle May 11, 2012

This constant whining of the gay media, gays gang rape and haze each other, and do all sorts of terrible things to one another, so when hearing such things you must remember there is an agenda here, as in the old testament of the Bible, when those infected worse than others where running the streets doing WHAT? Bulling every body and demanding they be allowed to make them have homosexual acts with them so they could not think they were what? better than them, the same now, and it is already in many cities such as dallas texas, if you are in the gay side of town, they are very aggressive, and that is why they want special laws, they know they cannot control their infection so they want you and your children to be like them! They want and are working towards the day when they can as in Sodom go to any home and say we want to know you or your children and they bully all into doing sick acts!

So when hearing of Mitt Romney makes me think of a young man years ago at my junior high school who in gym class would run from boy to boy grabbing their butts or between their legs and watch and enter showers while anyone was showering, and he at least once or twice a week got Bullied/beat down!

For evidence our Lord is not going to allow this nation founded in His name get anywhere near sodom, go to the website at Adam and Eve seed gathering Ministry and on the about us page near the bottom are images of the infectious microbes that science has known of for years and they are now awaking to the fact that it is those unclean spirits which cause all unnatural acts of mankind/womankind, and go to the prophecy and the signs page wherein are this days news events prewritten years back and are the likes of the Japan quake and tidal wave, and the DC/Virginia Beach Virginia quake our Lord brought on the day of the unveiling of the martin luther king statue, and the Suns record disturbances, all prewritten for our waking to His preparing earth, and of Sodoms approach! Also go to Adam and Eve in Action blog site for undeniable links and pages… Respect to all of God’s/Adam’s seed

  84. John A. Stephenson May 11, 2012

Godly Principals. Shall we ask the Children? What about selected memory?
A message to all candidates for President.
The World Is The External Foe
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world” (1 John 2:15-16). In this context, the “world” is not referring to the world of people. God loves that world (John 3:16). Neither is it the world of nature. This is God’s handiwork, and he has declared it good (Gen. 1:31). The winsome nature of God is seen in the beauty of His creation. The earth and the heavens are full of His glory! To love God is to love His created world.
To understand what our passage in 1 John means by the “world,” let’s look at the original Greek which is kosmos, meaning an “orderly arrangement” or “system.” In this context, the world that we should not love is an ungodly system masterminded by Satan himself. The unwavering purpose of this “world” is to take you from God by squeezing you, molding you, and conforming you into an ungodly and destructive life-style.
On the surface this lifestyle may seem alluring, pleasant, and even helpful and beautiful. Most people (and sadly many Christians) are swept away by it. It’s certainly not always the hideous way of life we expect from Satan’s handiwork. But it’s the same system that Adam struggled against. It is the same bad eggs re-scrambled. It’s not a new world order; it’s just the same old world order. Other words for the world’s system might be “conventional wisdom” or “political correctness” or “the good life.”
Everything in this world system is warped by sin. It is a mind-set of people without God and His Word, and it exerts tremendous pressure on our lives. We see the major components of this system in 1 John 2:15-16:
    A. Sensual Pleasures. “The lust of the flesh.” This would include inordinate desires in the areas of food, drugs, sex, alcohol, laziness, violence, amusement, etc. (See Gal. 5:16-21).
    B. Selfish Possessions. “The lust of the eyes.” This speaks of the desire to have more and more of everything that entices the eyes. The stomach is not the only thing that has an appetite. Eyes enamored by the world have an insatiable appetite. A wise philosopher once, “To whom little is not enough, nothing is enough” (see Gen. 3:1-7).
    C. Stubborn Pride. “The pride of life.” This is the desire for importance. A desire to lord yourself over others—to be self-sufficient, the best, and the greatest. It was pride that turned an angel into the devil. It is pride that escorts the human pea cock as he struts into hell. And it is pride that has ruined the human race and turned this world into a graveyard (see James 4:16).
The Flesh Is The Internal Foe
We must also come to grips with an enemy inside ourselves that the Scripture calls the flesh. The description of the flesh is not a pretty picture: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying’s, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (Gal. 5:19-21).

Every candidate for elective office speaks to various issues which he believes are important to the citizens which he will represent. Some people will agree and some will disagree that is America. A Statesman will try to educate and show evidence as to why he pushes for some issue which is not currently in the wishes of the majority so as to someday hope it will become acceptable to the majority. Until people vote to make these changes any issue, is subject to the rejections of the people under our Constitution. Of course when matters in which these laws or rules may be challenged in our courts and that process has been a great vehicle to bring about some changes and rights for many people including those with minority views. A good example is slavery, the right for women to vote and many others found in our Bill of Rights and or promulgated by this constitutional method. One thing I would caution any citizen about and they must make up their own minds and choices in these matters for just because some government, even our own, says that it is legally all right to commit such acts permitted by law, that does not mean it is so in God’s eyes. The Holy Bible is the road map I attempt to follow and I come short of glory many times, but I also know that God is a God of grace and I must do my part to appreciate the fact that He sent His Son to die on the cross for my and all sin in this world. Remember, I am not your judge, nor am I my own judge, that honor belongs to God alone and each of us will someday have our life story exposed and measured by our Creator.
I voted for President Barack Obama the first time and was pleased to do so. I have had mixed feelings about his leadership, but planned to vote for him again because I could not find real leadership in his Republican opponents, however when he came out on this issue that was the deal breaker, this country needs a moral leader whose idea of marriage is not contrary to our Biblical teachings and God’s will as stated in the Holy Bible. His administration’s attempt to bully our churches from all faiths with accepting government policy, in violation of their doctrines and the teachings of Jesus Christ. These policies caused great rebellion in most church families. Where is he on the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Who speaks for the millions of aborted babies? I fully understand all the “civil Rights” issues on these subjects and many other subjects. I understand the emotional need for any person living in sin to feel they and their actions are excepted by society and family, however just because a few states or the Courts have said this is ok or that of prostitution, or a few Physiatrist have said Child molestation is ok that does not make it ok in the eyes of God. These are clearly sins and not unlike the many sins which I or others have committed. Making them legal in the eyes of man will not change the fact that they are sins in the eyes of God. We are all held accountable by God in the final judgment. Some said the President has raised millions of dollars after coming out in favor of men marrying men and women marrying women. That is like saying pornography is ok because it makes tons of money. Wrong, it cost us all in society our safety, our sanity and our dignity as children of God. That does surprise me and I pray that he did not make this decision because he thought it was going to bring home more money into the coffers after all he had this position in the beginning and then changed and now has reverted back to his original position. As he is a young Christian they often struggle with many issues in life as we all do that is why Jesus died on the cross for when we get lost and it takes time and understanding to follow His words and faith to follow His commandments instead of our own lust and desires and in many ways trying to appease friends we feel the human need to play God and condone sin. Remember he said to the Lady at the well and to those who would stone her, “let them who is without sin cast the first stone and as they left he said now go and sin no more” we all have crossed these many bridges many times… I thank Him for his grace. Love all. Judge none lest we be judged ourselves… I am always reminded that before I try to get the spec out of my brother’s eye I must first get the log out of my own eye. However, I am voting to elect the President of the United States not the promoter of same sex marriage, or one who cannot even remember the bullying he and others did to a young man in high school, I would caution all that God’s memory is perfect and He knows when we are being lied to about such a serious offence to a human being. Also if our President changes his policy because he feels incapable of how to explain these issues to his children. Perhaps, their parents should explain these issues by reading from the Bible to them what faith means and following Christ even though we might not understand all the reasons until God has spoken to our hearts with the Wisdom of Solomon. Let us all remember God’s greatest gift is the Gift of Love, and I will need His Love to get into Heaven and so will you regardless of how we vote. The good news is that you have glorious Kingdom Authority over this trinity of evil. First Peter 5:8-10 promises God will make us strong, firm, and steadfast against the ploys of Satan: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a raring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” As we go deeper, we will learn that Jesus, in his humanity, received his power from the Holy Spirit and His authority from His intimate relationship with the Father. He now has conferred on us that same power and authority. We can get an upper hand on the underworld.
While Satan has been defeated and rendered ultimately powerless against the Spirit-filled believer, he has not yet surrendered. And he will not give up without a fight. He is going to press on to do whatever damage he can through deception, threats, and intimidation. And this is a part of the plan of God. God’s plan for us in not immunity from struggle but victory through struggle. In this victory we must appropriate what God has already established.
    Dr. John Stephenson
Former Superintendent of Public Instruction Commonwealth of Kentucky
    May 11, 2012

Given the views he expresses here, it is breathtakingly appalling that Dr. John Stephenson could have held a statewide position of any authority over public instruction let alone the top one. If he truly was, as he claims, the superintendent, then we all should worry about and/or pray for the Kentucky youngsters whose schooling might have been influenced in some way by this man who is evidently incapable of viewing the world in any context other than through a literal reading of the Bible. One more thing: His claim to have voted for President Obama four years ago stretches credulity. Dr. Stephenson is a right to lifer. President Obama’s support for reproductive rights has been forthright and unwavering all along. My guess is that Dr. Stephenson’s memory of his 2008 Presidential vote is about as accurate as Mitt Romney’s recollection of his past positions on gay marriage, abortion, saving the auto industry, going after bin Laden — you name it.

Romney, you failed to “choose the right!” Everyone, please repeat after me, “Romney’s a dick!”

  86. Darth May 11, 2012

It would be interesting to know if Romney has any insight into the “why” or causation of his intolerant
and mean spirited behavior. Was it because of his narrow and intolerant Mormon upbringing or did (does) he just have an intolerant mean spirited disposition? And when or how was this exorcised from his present disposition, if it was. Maybe it’s just morphed into supporting a Constitution amendment aimed at Gay and Lesbian citizens. And standing by all sanguine as one of his loyal campaign staff got
    whacked for being Gay.

I better hold on tight to my pony-tail. You are never prepared for the SCISSORSTAFFEL.

I’d like to see HIS pubic hair (& maybe accidentally his balls) chopped off with a ginsu knife by every gay and lesbian in this country! I am straight (and I can’t help it I was born that way) but I fully support every human being in their pursuit of happiness, etc….this moron and his money needs to go the fuck away as far as he can get (Pluto is a good destination this time of year I hear…) because I believe HE truly IS the “anti-christ” in all of this!!!!

    1. Sidney R Smith May 13, 2012

That makes two of us who think he’s the anti-christ

  89. Kathy Sperry May 12, 2012

So he was younger. Do you really think he has stopped being homophobic because he is older???

  90. Sidney R Smith May 12, 2012

    Let’s see…draft dodger check
    gay basher check
    cultist check
    silver spoon
    club check

Sounds like a good presidential candidate. Let’s run him on the Republican Ticket…………..yeah that’s the ticket!

  91. Sylvia Tyler June 7, 2012

Romney has had a privileged life. His has shown a serious lack of empathy for other humans and his family dog included. He clearly shows his attitude of entitlement. He insults the intelligence of regular working people.

Rich kids can be some of the cruelest bullies.
