I so agree with Terminoly. Class is a nasty word when you think about it. I too have known wealthy people with ZERO class. And, to merman, SO TRUE. He is one of the people we want OUT of Washingon, not into the white house!!!

A higher percentage of Santorum's political funding comes from lobbyists than any other candidate for the Office of the President of the USA. In 2006 Pennsylvania voters threw Santorum out of office as Senator in part after it was revealed "do as I say, not as I do" Santorum was implicated in a number of ethics violations related to the K-Street Project with convicted Lobbyists Jack Abramoff and PAC Slush Fund cohort Tom Delay. PA voters were also made aware that Santorum and his family had been living for years in Leesburg Virginia while claiming to represent Pennsylvania votes.

While claiming to serve the State of PA as Senator, Santorum led a political effort in Washington to pass the agenda of corporate lobbyists in exchange for them delivering the bulk of their clients' campaign contributions to Republicans. He held weekly, closed-door meetings with top lobbyists to engage in crass, quid pro quo corruption.

He continues to live the life of a lobbyist and live high off the hog of Republican PAC money - essentially legal bribes and kickbacks from extreme right wing corporate Republican CEOs - while attacking medicare, and supporting House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan's agenda to reduce and eliminate every tax credit or deduction afforded to the middle class by claiming its needed to balance the federal budget while giving away more tax breaks tax credits and creating new tax loopholes for the corporate america he is on the take from.

Even if a person agrees with Santorum's hate of blacks, gays, jews, latinos, women, and every minority on the face of the earth, would any person really want the top hypocrit corporate puppet lobbyist in the USA to lead the USA as President?

I have a problem with the terminology used in describing levels in the economy. Everyone uses them from politicians to the local news anchor. High, Middle, and Lower CLASS is insulting and wrong. Income should be substituted for Class. I've known many families with low income who faitly oozed class. By the same token, many high income people have 0 class. Does anyone out there agree with me? Then there's the reference to being gay as a "lifestyle". No, a lifestyle is how you play the cards God and/or your upbringing have dealt to you. Orientation is the proper word to me. Is being gay a choice? That makes no sense. I always ask the avowedly straight bigots like Santorum and Romney..."i suppose you remember the day you went for a walk in the woods, sat on a rock and debated ... hmmm should I be gay or straight, and after deliberation CHOSE to be straight. Of course not. And neither do our gay neighbors CHOOSE their orientation. Again, please let eme know if anyone out there agrees or disagrees with my feelings on these two proints of terminology. Thanks!

I have to say, Santorum scares me (if he were to become president). He's way out there on his thinking. I have a relative that is a Jehova's Witness. We all know they have extreme views..well this person even tells me it is not up to us to judge a person's sexual preference...that is up to them and their creator!! I think most of the GOP candidates would try to reverse many if not all of the progress made on behalf of gays in every state.

Iowa was a hollow "victory" for any GOP candidate. Only 129 thousand voters out of 2 million cast ballots. This says much about the lack luster candidates. A great deal of money spent by the candidates and media recording bicker this, whine that, my opponent is incapable, or the policy is all wrong seldom saying why. No wonder voters fall away given so much negativity. Now we have a vendetta thrown in the match. Skip the time limited polls, vendettas as these are not what is best for America.

Could the media please identify the presidential candidate positions on the top issues, their plan, and expected short and long term results to be used as performance metrics. I am surprised news organizations don't ask important views for side by side candidate comparison. This is what counts for voters.
