The Democratic National Committee has released a new ad attacking former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. The ad takes on Romney’s repeated claims that he is not a career politician by pointing out that Romney has actually been running for office for the better part of two decades.

Video of the ad is below:

This is the second time in the past two weeks that the DNC has gone after Romney, suggesting that — although Newt Gingrich is now polling in the lead for the Republican presidential nomination — the DNC still views Romney as the primary threat to President Obama’s re-election.

For the last several months, nearly all political analysts have predicted November would be a blood bath for Democrats based on historical trends, President Joe Biden's low approval ratings, and polling data suggesting Republican voters were far more motivated to vote in November.

But fresh polling suggests the so-called enthusiasm gap got a jolting disruption in the wake of Friday's Supreme Court ruling gutting Roe v. Wade.

The House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack

The House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack has just announced it will hold a hearing on Tuesday, a last-minute move that is expected to include testimony from a surprised, unnamed witness.

The New York Times reports the Committee says it has “recently obtained evidence.”
