The spot oozes George W. Bush-style folksy outsider right-wing populism, and we have to wonder: have Republican primary voters already forgotten that Bush, whom they loved pretty consistently throughout his disastrous presidency, is a toxic figure and that nominating an angrier, even less articulate version of him is a bad idea?
