WATCH: Obama Says ‘All Americans Stand With The People Of Boston’

Addressing the American public from the White House Briefing Room Monday evening, President Obama vowed to respond with the “full weight of justice” on the individuals responsible for the explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

More than a hundred people were injured in the blast and two are confirmed dead, including an 8-year-old boy.

“We still do not know who did this and why,” the president said. “And people should not jump to conclusions before we have all the facts.”

"Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it's infected a good chunk of my party's base." That acknowledgement from Texas Rep. Michael McCaul, Republican chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was echoed a few days later by Ohio Rep. Michael Turner, the chairman of the Intelligence Committee. "To the extent that this propaganda takes hold, it makes it more difficult for us to really see this as an authoritarian versus democracy battle."
