Not surprised that Mitt Romney was apart of any bullying or pranks in school from K-12 and especially in college and universities. Too bad he is not doing it now, so he can be taken to task in ways he has no idea would happen to him and family.

People who support him will cheer at this news. If he had beaten the other student they would think that was even better. Bullies, tough guys, gun toters (concealed carry is a favored phrase right now like we couldn’t get permits before) are their heroes. This makes Romney more attractive than anything else he has done.

Our President is too awesome for words. If Romney wins Im moving to Canada. Its an obvious choice…good progressive and fair. Or racist rich out of touch.

Why am I Not surprised?

I am absolutely dumbstruck by this series of events beginning with what seems to have been a bit of a gaffe on the part of Joe Biden. I don’t think he intended to go there on MTP on Sunday. Yet, here we are four days later. The President has come out in favor of LGBT rights to marry, and Mitt Romney has admitted to having been an evil anti-gay monster in prep school. I’m tellin’ ya’. You can’t plan this. If it somehow was planned, it’s totally brilliant, but I really don’t think you can plan this.

The President of the United States is the president of ALL the people of the United States, that includes Gay people. I am not gay but that doesnt mean I dont think they deserve the same rights as I have as an AMERICAN, I am proud of President Obama for taking this stand,
as anyone who really knows whats going on would be. Turn off FOX news people, its not news, its entertainment for people who are brainwashed, If you cant see all the good this president has done in the past 3.5 years, then I really suggest you come out of the cave, not the closet, and see the reality of whats going on, not the lies the republicans want you to believe ! The bulling and putting the dog on top of the car are disturbing. Years later he laughs about it. He also has no idea how most people live. Some of the things he says make me thnk he only knows how rich people live and doesn’t care or can’t or won’t comprehend how the rest of us live.

Hey, Obozo, it is a real shame that you have never studied history. The German Nazis were the biggest and most vicious enemy of the German Communists from the very inception of the Nazi party. In fact, one of the driving forces in the formation of the Nazi party was to keep the Communists out of power in Germany. Another thing to remember is that just because an organization has the word Socialist in its name has nothing to do with whether it is actually a socialist group just as if a group has word Democratic in its name does not mean it is a Democracy. Consider all those dictatorships who call their country a Democracy but they have very limited elections. The Nazis definitely were right wing and not left wing Socialists such as the UK. UK and other socialist countries tend to nationalize industry while the Nazis venerated and protected the rights of industry (unless Jewish owned) and the Nazis would have applauded the Republican Supreme Court decision that corporations were people. By the way one of my grandparents was from Prussia, 2 were from Germany, and 1 was mongrel American (her people had been here since the 1700s) so I tend to pay attention to European history.

Romney’s defense that he wasn’t aware that his schoolmate, Jon Lauber was gay at the time he led what amounts to a hazing incident against him is disingenuous. I was in high school in the 70′s and there were several incidents in our rural school where SUSPECTED homosexuals were taunted and harrassed for simply looking or acting gay. How is what Romney and his band of spoiled rotten, elitest thugs inflicted on Lauber any different? This is just another example of Mitt’s flawed judgement, willingness to waffle on issues for political benefit, his misguided sense of decency and questionable character. And his wife, Ann has the nerve to esentially dismiss his antics as boys being boys. It’s parents like this who help perpetuate the outrageous bullying that goes in our schools today. Not only is Mitt unfit to be president of the United States…he’s an unfit example for children on how to behave in a civil society. And now, as an adult, his position on gay rights is evidence of his continued self-righteous judgement and contempt for gays and lesbians. If he and his socially conservative religious brethern had their way, they would change our country into the Theocratic States of America in order to reflect their narrow-minded, self-righteous and bigoted views. God help us if he gets elected.

In fact, John Lauber’s family has released statements doubting the accounts of any incidents and reprimanding Obozo for using their son and brother (now deceased from liver cancer) as a political game piece.

What is your base for judging the actions of either President Barack Obama or president nominee Mitt Romney? Is it based on the truth, the word of God, who created you, me and everything around us or do you judge on your personal view or the views others whom God also created? No one’s view can be better than of his creator who knows all including us. We all have opinions but the validity of the source. We all have things that we are ashame of and come short of God’s glory. The question is are we still in that same rut or have we accepted God and changed our direction. What really would be good new and it still can occur is that President Obama admits to accepting God through Jesus Christ and the president’s assessment on is in complete agreement with God’s scripture. I’m praying this will happen before it’s too late. That would be good news!!!

The World Is The External Foe
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world” (1 John 2:15-16). In this context, the “world” is not referring to the world of people. God loves that world (John 3:16). Neither is it the world of nature. This is God’s handiwork, and he has declared it good (Gen. 1:31). The winsome nature of God is seen in the beauty of His creation. The earth and the heavens are full of His glory! To love God is to love His created world.
To understand what our passage in 1 John means by the “world,” let’s look at the original Greek which is kosmos, meaning an “orderly arrangement” or “system.” In this context, the world that we should not love is an ungodly system masterminded by Satan himself. The unwavering purpose of this “world” is to take you from God by squeezing you, molding you, and conforming you into an ungodly and destructive life-style.
On the surface this lifestyle may seem alluring, pleasant, and even helpful and beautiful. Most people (and sadly many Christians) are swept away by it. It’s certainly not always the hideous way of life we expect from Satan’s handiwork. But it’s the same system that Adam struggled against. It is the same bad eggs re-scrambled. It’s not a new world order; it’s just the same old world order. Other words for the world’s system might be “conventional wisdom” or “political correctness” or “the good life.”
Everything in this world system is warped by sin. It is a mind-set of people without God and His Word, and it exerts tremendous pressure on our lives. We see the major components of this system in 1 John 2:15-16:
A. Sensual Pleasures. “The lust of the flesh.” This would include inordinate desires in the areas of food, drugs, sex, alcohol, laziness, violence, amusement, etc. (See Gal. 5:16-21).
B. Selfish Possessions. “The lust of the eyes.” This speaks of the desire to have more and more of everything that entices the eyes. The stomach is not the only thing that has an appetite. Eyes enamored by the world have an insatiable appetite. A wise philosopher once, “To whom little is not enough, nothing is enough” (see Gen. 3:1-7).
C. Stubborn Pride. “The pride of life.” This is the desire for importance. A desire to lord yourself over others—to be self-sufficient, the best, and the greatest. It was pride that turned an angel into the devil. It is pride that escorts the human pea cock as he struts into hell. And it is pride that has ruined the human race and turned this world into a graveyard (see James 4:16).
The Flesh Is The Internal Foe
We must also come to grips with an enemy inside ourselves that the Scripture calls the flesh. The description of the flesh is not a pretty picture: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying’s, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (Gal. 5:19-21).

Every candidate for elective office speaks to various issues which he believes are important to the citizens which he will represent. Some people will agree and some will disagree that is America. A Statesman will try to educate and show evidence as to why he pushes for some issue which is not currently in the wishes of the majority so as to someday hope it will become acceptable to the majority. Until people vote to make these changes any issue, is subject to the rejections of the people under our Constitution. Of course when matters in which these laws or rules may be challenged in our courts and that process has been a great vehicle to bring about some changes and rights for many people including those with minority views. A good example is slavery, the right for women to vote and many others found in our Bill of Rights and or promulgated by this constitutional method. One thing I would caution any citizen about and they must make up their own minds and choices in these matters for just because some government, even our own, says that it is legally all right to commit such acts permitted by law, that does not mean it is so in God’s eyes. The Holy Bible is the road map I attempt to follow and I come short of glory many times, but I also know that God is a God of grace and I must do my part to appreciate the fact that He sent His Son to die on the cross for my and all sin in this world. Remember, I am not your judge, nor am I my own judge, that honor belongs to God alone and each of us will someday have our life story exposed and measured by our Creator.
I voted for President Barack Obama the first time and was pleased to do so. I have had mixed feelings about his leadership, but planned to vote for him again because I could not find real leadership in his Republican opponents, however when he came out on this issue that was the deal breaker, this country needs a moral leader whose idea of marriage is not contrary to our Biblical teachings and God’s will as stated in the Holy Bible. His administration’s attempt to bully our churches from all faiths with accepting government policy, in violation of their doctrines and the teachings of Jesus Christ. These policies caused great rebellion in most church families. Where is he on the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Who speaks for the millions of aborted babies? I fully understand all the “civil Rights” issues on these subjects and many other subjects. I understand the emotional need for any person living in sin to feel they and their actions are excepted by society and family, however just because a few states or the Courts have said this is ok or that of prostitution, or a few Physiatrist have said Child molestation is ok that does not make it ok in the eyes of God. These are clearly sins and not unlike the many sins which I or others have committed. Making them legal in the eyes of man will not change the fact that they are sins in the eyes of God. We are all held accountable by God in the final judgment. Some said the President has raised millions of dollars after coming out in favor of men marrying men and women marrying women. That is like saying pornography is ok because it makes tons of money. Wrong, it cost us all in society our safety, our sanity and our dignity as children of God. That does surprise me and I pray that he did not make this decision because he thought it was going to bring home more money into the coffers after all he had this position in the beginning and then changed and now has reverted back to his original position. As he is a young Christian they often struggle with many issues in life as we all do that is why Jesus died on the cross for when we get lost and it takes time and understanding to follow His words and faith to follow His commandments instead of our own lust and desires and in many ways trying to appease friends we feel the human need to play God and condone sin. Remember he said to the Lady at the well and to those who would stone her, “let them who is without sin cast the first stone and as they left he said now go and sin no more” we all have crossed these many bridges many times… I thank Him for his grace. Love all. Judge none lest we be judged ourselves… I am always reminded that before I try to get the spec out of my brother’s eye I must first get the log out of my own eye. However, I am voting to elect the President of the United States not the promoter of same sex marriage, or one who cannot even remember the bullying he and others did to a young man in high school, I would caution all that God’s memory is perfect and He knows when we are being lied to about such a serious offence to a human being. Also if our President changes his policy because he feels incapable of how to explain these issues to his children. Perhaps, their parents should explain these issues by reading from the Bible to them what faith means and following Christ even though we might not understand all the reasons until God has spoken to our hearts with the Wisdom of Solomon. Let us all remember God’s greatest gift is the Gift of Love, and I will need His Love to get into Heaven and so will you regardless of how we vote. The good news is that you have glorious Kingdom Authority over this trinity of evil. First Peter 5:8-10 promises God will make us strong, firm, and steadfast against the ploys of Satan: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a raring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” As we go deeper, we will learn that Jesus, in his humanity, received his power from the Holy Spirit and His authority from His intimate relationship with the Father. He now has conferred on us that same power and authority. We can get an upper hand on the underworld.
While Satan has been defeated and rendered ultimately powerless against the Spirit-filled believer, he has not yet surrendered. And he will not give up without a fight. He is going to press on to do whatever damage he can through deception, threats, and intimidation. And this is a part of the plan of God. God’s plan for us in not immunity from struggle but victory through struggle. In this victory we must appropriate what God has already established.
