Sometimes the joke is all about the setup.

While Jimmy Fallon doesn’t exactly take it easy on President Trump or any of 45’s appointees/ex-appointees (just listen to the crack about Omarosa and Facebook 45 seconds into today’s clip), the comic is a little gentler than most on late night when it comes to politics. The Kavanaugh hearings are no exception. Jimmy has a hard time hating anyone, even when they’re connected to Trump.

So how did Jimmy draw the conclusion that new SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh isn’t qualified to serve spaghetti?

Fox News got to claim victory on Thursday after a new ruling in a lawsuit brought against the company came out in its favor, but the win arrived at a steep cost. To deflect an allegation of defamation, the network was forced to claim that one of its highest-profile personalities can't reasonably be expected to consistently provide accurate information to viewers.
