#EndorseThis: No Wonder Trump Tried To Silence Stormy

No doubt you’ve heard about the new memoir by porn star and former Trump paramour Stormy Daniels — which recounts, with some distaste, her very personal encounter with POTUS. It isn’t hard to understand why he paid her to keep quiet.

Of course Jimmy Kimmel makes the most of her revelations, although he now vows never to play video games or eat mushrooms again. A disturbingly hilarious bit, featuring a special guest appearance by the amazing Tracy Morgan.

Tracy Morgan Released From Hospital, Transferred To Rehab Center

Tracy Morgan Released From Hospital, Transferred To Rehab Center

Tracy Morgan was released from a New Jersey hospital on Friday, two weeks after the comedian was seriously injured in a highway crash that left one man dead.

Hospital spokesman Peter Haigney told the Los Angeles Times that Morgan had been released and he confirmed details of a statement circulated by Morgan’s publicist.

“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go,” the statement from publicist Lewis Kay read. “He and (wife) Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”

The statement said Morgan was being relocated from the Brunswick, N.J., hospital to an undisclosed rehabilitation center.

Morgan will likely be in rehab for weeks, Kay’s statement said.

On June 7, Morgan and several others were headed north on the New Jersey Turnpike after a performance in Delaware when their limousine was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer. The limousine spun out of control and flipped over, according to the New Jersey State Police, and the crash left 63-year-old James McNair, better known as comedian Jimmy Mack, dead.

Three others were injured in the crash. Ardley Fuqua Jr. and Jeffrey Millea, among the injured, remain hospitalized, Haigney told the Times. Fuqua is in serious condition and Millea is in good condition, according to Haigney.

Kevin Roper, a 35-year-old Georgia man who was driving the Wal-Mart tractor trailer that caused the wreck, has been charged with McNair’s death and four counts of assault by auto.

Roper had not slept for nearly 24 hours before the crash, according to a warrant for his arrest.

He pleaded not guilty last week, and multiple calls to his attorney seeking comment have not been returned.

Tracy Morgan More Responsive In Wake Of Accident, Publicist Says

Tracy Morgan More Responsive In Wake Of Accident, Publicist Says

By Yvonne Villarreal, Los Angeles Times

Comedian Tracy Morgan remained in critical condition in a New Jersey hospital Sunday with broken ribs, a broken leg and a broken nose, his publicist said, following a six-vehicle chain-reaction wreck that killed one of Morgan’s friends and mentors.

Morgan underwent surgery on his leg at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., according to a statement from Morgan’s publicist, Lewis Kay, who added that the former “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live” star was more responsive on Sunday.

“We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks,” Kay said. “His family is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

Morgan was hospitalized after his chauffeured limousine van, also carrying comedians Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton, was struck from behind early Saturday by a Wal-Mart truck, New Jersey police said. Another passenger, comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair, died in the crash.

The Georgia-based driver of the truck, Kevin Roper, 35, has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto, the prosecutor’s office of Middlesex County, N.J., said. Roper turned himself in Saturday evening and posted $50,000 bail, New Jersey state trooper Greg Williams said.

Williams said there was no initial indication that alcohol or drugs played a factor, but the crash remained under investigation.

The National Transportation Safety Board will work with New Jersey State Police to investigate if any elements of the crash are related to commercial trucking and limousine safety, such as vehicle maintenance and drug and alcohol testing of drivers, said NTSB spokesman Keith Holloway.

“At this point, we are just gathering factual information,” Holloway said. “We have not proposed any action.”
