Republicans React To Trump’s Call To Ban Muslims From Entering U.S.

Donald Trump has now rocked the Republican race, and really put all GOP candidates in a position of having to actually answer a simple question: After all their opposition to taking in Muslim refugees, do they oppose (or favor) allowing any Muslims into the United States?

It should be noted that among fellow Republican candidates Rand Paul has already called for restrictions on immigration “from countries that have hotbeds of jihadism and hotbeds of this Islamism,” as he told Breitbart. And in turn, Ted Cruz voted in favor of Paul’s failed amendment in the Senate. (We’ll get to Cruz’s latest position, a bit further down.)

So in a way, Trump’s remarks Monday — that he would bar all Muslims from entering the country — are simply taking those Republicans’ ideas to their logical conclusions. After all, if people from Muslim-heavy countries should be excluded — then why even let in a single Muslim at all?

Late Monday afternoon, the Trump campaign released this statement:

Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing “25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad” and 51% of those polled, “agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah.” Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won’t convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women.

Mr. Trump stated, “Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again.” – Donald J. Trump

The organization Trump cites, the Center for Security Policy, is a far-right fringe group headed by Frank Gaffney, who in the 1980s briefly held (and was soon forced out from) a position in the Reagan administration’s Department of Defense. Over the course of his career he has promoted birtherism against President Obama, made allegations that longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin is a secret agent of the Muslim Brotherhood, and gotten repeatedly banned from the annual CPAC conservative activist event. (Gaffney’s search for Muslim agents under the bed also extends to the conservative side of politics, too — the anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist is among his suspected Muslim agents.)

Despite not exactly having clean hands in this matter, Republican candidates were quick to denounce the frontrunner’s comments.

Jeb Bush — who has called for taking in refugees who can “prove you’re a Christian” — posted this message:

In a brief series of Tweets, Lindsey Graham condemned Trump’s ideas not only on their internal merits — but for putting American service-members as well as any allies in danger.

Speaking to reporters, Cruz (who has been more friendly with The Donald than most Republican candidates) now says that Trump’s view “is not my policy” — but he is touting his proposal for a three-year moratorium on refugees from countries with an ISIS or al-Qaeda territorial presence.

John Kasich, the accidental moderate, is condemning The Donald:

Kasich’s campaign staff also went the extra mile: They’ve simply reposted on Twitter their recent video that compared Trump to Hitler — and warned voters that after Trump goes after this or that despised group, he’ll next be coming after you.

Chris Christie is parting ways with Trump, whom Christie says he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. (Of course, this interesting in that Christie has previously said he wouldn’t even accept five-year old orphans as refugees.)

Even Dick Cheney came out and said Trump was betraying American values. When Satan himself looks like the voice of reason, you need to reconsider your entire existence as a party.

Isn’t it hilarious though? Trump is saying the things they want to say but they are so terrified of Trump, they have to say the opposite in an attempt to make him look bad. If there was ever any proof Trump is intentionally destroying the GOP, this is it.

I have trouble believing he’s not a stupid man. So far he has shown himself to be very ignorant. You may have bought in to the FALSE mythology that possession of great wealth is indicative of great intellect. If only that were true we might have a much better country. But sadly possession of great wealth is usually more indicative of being the most conniving, deceitful, and lacking in any moral compass.

😀 No I have not bought into anything equating wealth with intellect. I’m not a republican. Some real dullards are born into it. and others at the right place at the right time.On the other hand I don’t buy into the fallacy great wealth is more indicative of conniving, deceitful and lacking a moral compass either.
Trump is a businessman and he isn’t stupid by a long shot. He’s calculating, street smart and he knows how to sell his brand. He doesn’t care whether people like him or not. In the end for him, it’s about the art of the deal. To say one is not stupid doesn’t mean they are automatically the polar opposite.

The corruption in the Obama administration has been mind boggling, from running guns to drug cartels in “Fast and Furious,” to targeting journalists investigating the actions of his administration and the deception and cover up of the deaths of an ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya. Obama’s reluctance to condemn the actions of radical Islam, both within and without the United states, his refusal to acknowledge the connection of Islam to acts of terrorism, including the murder, rape and torture of Christians in the Middle East, and his actual participation in what appears to be a kind of cultural covert action aimed at undermining traditional America, paints a shocking picture of a man who is more Muslim than the Christian he claims to be, more Marxist in his ideology than the Constitutional scholar the news media has made him out to be and as corrupt in his use of federal agencies as any Chicago-style mafia boss.

The damage done to America’s Constitutional, political and cultural fabric may be irreparable. Welcome to “transformation.” The cabal of international financiers, globally focused one-world Marxist political groups and Obama’s shadowy involvement with Islamic regimes such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran threaten US sovereignty at its core.

This book is a good starting point for anyone confused or uneducated regarding President Obama’s politics and policies. However, the writing style of the authors really bothered me. Though I agree with everything written, I don’t need the author constantly telling me that Obama is a socialist, communist, community organizer, liar, etc, etc. Such interpolations are so prevalent in the book, that it serves to discredit the authors and reduce them to water carriers for the Republican Party, much like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity. Because of this, it made reading the book seem like listening to Sarah Palin for a couple hours straight listing off as many Fox News talking points as possible. The facts presented in the book are fantastic, as well are the direct quotes taken from President Obama. These are the redeeming factors of this book, and prove very damning for the President, indeed. Everything in between is unnecessary and annoying, and had me skimming quickly to get to the point trying to be made.

Trump is right! If, after Pearl Harbor, FDR had said “let’s take in more Japanese and German immigrants”, what do you think would have happened? If FDR had brought in more of our enemies, we’d be speaking German or Japanese, depending on which coast you live on. The Democrats screamed for arresting American citizens then and the public bought it. The refugees don’t really want to come to the USA. They want to get away from the fighting in their own country. We should push to create safe zone, guarded by a UN force, right in their own country. When the conflict is resolved, they can easily move back to their native homeland. The constitution calls for the President to protect America from harm. Letting in unvetted or even vetted refugees would go against that directive. The couple who did the San Bern shootings – he was US born and she came on a fiancee visa- were totally vetted. Imagine if just 1% of the 10,000 refugees Obama wants to “quickly” bring in were radicalized. How many bombings and shootings (even with stricter gun laws – Paris is strictly no guns!) would we be setting ourselves up for? It’s taken Obama 7 years to admit the Army base shooting was NOT workplace violence. Talk about a madman being in the White House! How many terrorists attacks have their been since Obama took office? Where’s the media outrage at the lack of foreign policy that makes sense that’s caused all the hate against Americans?

You made several posts, so I’ll address them here. You are correct that it was a compound. Had I said “compound”, very few would have known what I was talking about. When FDR had the Japanese-Americans rounded up, the public was frightened and FULLY supported (yes there were some who objected) by the vast majority of Americans. Regarding the Syrians, you are woefully misinformed. While those coming in NOW have waited 18-24 months, the refugees Obama is talking about will not wait nearly that long. The immigration form they will be asked to fill out will ask them if “they are a terrorist or plan to attack Americans”. Answer this question, if they have to wait 18-24 months, where will they survive for such a long period of time? The answer is that Obama wants them admitted NOW – no background check, no waiting, no nothin’.
Regarding Elly, she seldom makes a post without calling conservatives or Republicans “little boys”. I challenged her about this many months ago and on more than one occasion, yet she continues to try “if I belittle the opposition, they’ll seem weaker and less formidable”. I was giving her a taste of her own medicine. But I don’t have much hope. You lefties typically resort to name calling because you think it makes you seem more correct. FDR did then what he thought was best. Japan is a country, not a religion. When you deport Muslims, Texas will be the first to bitch. Saudis are Muslims, so are many Lebanese, Turks and other US allies. So go ahead…deport ALL Muslims…but do let us know which countries you plan to include since 90% of all Middle Eastern countries are Muslim. The Mass removal of U.S. citizens

On February 19, 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, which authorized military commanders to designate military areas from which any person could be excluded. Congress supported the Executive Order by authorizing a prison term and fine for a civilian convicted of violating the military order. General John L. DeWitt, Western Defense Command, then issued over 100 military orders that only applied to civilians of Japanese ancestry living in the West Coast states. Thus, the President and Congress authorized the removal and incarceration of over 110,000 people based solely on race without evidence of wrongdoing, charges or hearings. More than two-thirds of those incarcerated were U.S. citizens–over half were children.

Ironically, over 150,000 people of Japanese ancestry in Hawaii were not removed or incarcerated. General Delos Emmons, who became commanding general in Hawaii shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, treated the Issei and Nisei as loyal to the United States. Although there were many false stories of Japanese American spies, General Emmons repeatedly rejected anti-Japanese pleas to remove persons of Japanese ancestry from Hawaii. He knew there was no evidence of Japanese American espionage or sabotage. In fact, during World War II, no Japanese American in the U.S., Hawaii or Alaska, citizen or immigrant, was ever convicted of espionage or sabotage.

Did you not see the one in CA where 14 were killed? What about Fort Hood? And since an embassy is considered US territory, what about Benghazi? It all has to do with the foreign policy of Mrs. Clinton and Obama. My point is that Obama is not protecting the US population!

It’s hilarious that you are so COMPLETELY mis-informed that you call yourself InformedVoter, hehehe! That is truly hilarious!!! But sadly it’s also a reflection of how populated with morons the U.S. is. For the actually informed individuals they know that there are far more white conservative gun nut terrorists than there ever have been Muslim terrorists. They also know that the odds are far more likely that you will be killed in this country by one of these right wing Cons or by a lack of access to healthcare than your mis-guided fear of brown people. However, like all ignorant racists Cons, you are likely incapable of reason and rationalization, research seems to show it’s a brain deficiency that makes one a fearful, ignorant Con.

And please show the source of the “odds are far more …” Just more liberal blah, blah, blah. You show your true “colors” by using the typical “fear of … racists”. How do you define racist? You must be one yourself to so quickly be able to call ALL conservatives racist. It’s typical dumb liberal logic to call ALL conservatives racist but it’s not OK to call ALL Muslims enemies of the US (even though their religion calls for them to do so). Talk about ignorant!

You made the incorrect assumption that all the murderers are conservatives or Republican. Please prove it! And I’m sure you can prove that NO Democrats have guns. Why wouldn’t a liberal be just as likely to commit murder for a cause? You have NOT provided anything that could be considered a fact! Did they ask for your political party when you bought your gun? There is NO data base containing information about political party gun ownership. Just because a number of low information folks post comments about the chances of getting shot by a right winger, does NOT make it a fact. When Trump made his statement in July about illegal aliens committing more crimes than the rest of the US, the media and several political leaders claimed he was wrong, BUT produced NO facts or stats to prove their points. Within 48 hours, many stats from government agencies PROVED Trump was correct. Yet many of the low information people on these forums continue to say Trump is wrong by claiming it was “proven”, The reality is that he was PROVEN to be correct.

After Trump made his illegal speech, talking heads claimed that he was wrong. Within 48 hours, lots of data was brought to light that proved Trump was correct. The talking head shut up about their position because they knew it made them look low information. Two days after his comments, a CNN reporter asked Trump about his statements and Trump’s response “didn’t you get the memo, I’ve been vetted on this and found to be completely accurate”. Of course the reporter looked like a deer not just caught in the headlights, but like a deer that just got run over by a semi.

The number of white citizens committing murders/ domestic terrorism is far greater. Call it by any name you want. Mass, murder and the people are terrorized and those who don’t survive are still dead.

New Data: It’s Still about Black-on-Black Crime

by Heather Mac Donald December 11, 2014 7:12 PM The FBI has just released its supplemental homicide data for 2012, including the numbers of interracial killings. These are highly relevant for the current rallying cry that “black lives matter.” Unfortunately, the FBI continues its usual practice of combining whites and Hispanics into the single category “white,” thus overstating white crime and victimization rates. Even so, the data are telling. A “white” homicide victim is over twice as likely to be killed by a black than a black homicide victim is to be killed by a “white.” Sixteen percent of “white” victims in homicide incidents involving a single victim and single offender were killed by blacks, compared with only 7 percent of black victims who are killed by “whites.” Given the fact that blacks are less than 13 percent of the national population, their homicide rate against whites and Hispanics combined is vastly disproportionate to their share of the population. There were 431 black killers of “whites,” compared to 193 “white” killers of blacks. Undoubtedly a large percentage of interracial killings involve gang killings among black and Hispanic gangs; the number of non-Hispanic whites who kill blacks is undoubtedly far lower than 193. (The number of non-Hispanic whites killed by blacks is also presumably lower than 431.) Blacks are also disproportionately represented among cop killers. In 2013, blacks made up 42 percent of all cop killers whose race was known. It is tempting to say in response to this latest data, drearily repetitive of everything that went before it, that “white lives matter.” Of course that would be racist. But it is precisely in response to the disproportionate criminality among the black population that the police are deployed in much higher numbers in black neighborhoods, where they are trying to save innocent lives. There are thousands of law-abiding inner-city blacks who live by bourgeois values and who need protection from criminals. Only the police are willing to provide that protection. Their mantra could be “black lives matter.” The 200 or so reported killings of blacks by police officers — nearly all justified — pale in comparison to the 6,000 or so killings of blacks by other blacks.

See? I told you, they are gonna spout about black on black crime … By the way paaaaulyzzz…. Whites commit more crimes (and get caught) which is strange, because I know for a fact that whites get away with a hell of a lot more crime. I’m white and well, was not always the fine upstanding citizen I am today.

Turning his hand to political psychopathology, the author of The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness, has diagnosed an alarming percentage of the population as suffering from the grotesque form of mental derangement known by some as moonbattery

The Liberal Mind is the first in-depth examination of the major political madness of our time: The radical left’s efforts to regulate the people from cradle to grave. To rescue us from our troubled lives, the liberal agenda recommends denial of personal responsibility, encourages self-pity and other-pity, fosters government dependency, promotes sexual indulgence, rationalizes violence, excuses financial obligation, justifies theft, ignores rudeness, prescribes complaining and blaming, denigrates marriage and the family, legalizes all abortion, defies religious and social tradition, declares inequality unjust, and rebels against the duties of citizenship. Through multiple entitlements to unearned goods, services and social status, the liberal politician promises to ensure everyone’s material welfare, provide for everyone’s healthcare, protect everyone’s self-esteem, correct everyone’s social and political disadvantage, educate every citizen, and eliminate all class distinctions. Radical liberalism thus assaults the foundations of civilized freedom. Given its irrational goals, coercive methods and historical failures, and given its perverse effects on character development, there can be no question of the radical agenda’s madness. Only an irrational agenda would advocate a systematic destruction of the foundations on which ordered liberty depends. Only an irrational man would want the state to run his life for him rather than create secure conditions in which he can run his own life. Only an irrational agenda would deliberately undermine the citizen’s growth to competence by having the state adopt him. Only irrational thinking would trade individual liberty for government coercion, sacrificing the pride of self-reliance for welfare dependency. Only a madman would look at a community of free people cooperating by choice and see a society of victims exploited by villains. Conservatives LOVE mass killings, it’s why they starve poor people after forcing them to have babies they can’t afford, carpet bomb irrelevant countries, and make sure the US is the only so-called First World country where terrorists (and redneck numpties) can buy guns more easily than their insanity meds!

You don’t even see the absurdity of your comment, “forcing them to have babies they can’t afford”. So you believe people should irresponsible have babies they don’t have any means to support? Or have babies for others to pay them, which many do by the way, to get government money.

Terrorists certainly got those guns in gun free France though. Typical Liberal BS.

In the case you mention Japan and Germany were the invaders of non-threatening countries, the aggressors. in this case it is our aggression in Iraq and other areas of the Middle east that has created the refugee crisis. Saudi Arabia, our “ally”, is the other major creator of Daesh and everything has resulted from their activities.

U.S. Military Pilots Provide Solid Proof That Obama Is Helping ISIS… Here’s What They’re Saying

            Wilmot Proviso November 21, 2015 at 2:39pm

Providing yet another piece of evidence that President Barack Obama is shielding the Islamic State group from destruction by American forces, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee told the Washington Free Beacon that U.S. military pilots have confirmed 75 percent of missions against the group have returned with their ordnance because they couldn’t get clearance to fire.

Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., said that an Obama administration policy not to strike if there’s any risk of collateral damage had led to the 75 percent no-fire rate, which has led to the growth of the Islamic State group across Syria and Iraq.

We retaliated for 9-11, which was caused by the garbage foreign policies of the previous 8 years of Mr. Bill Clinton. Obama has been in office some 7 years, yet the terrorists attacks are starting to increase “under his watch”. Oh my, he and you are still claiming it was GW’s fault. Out of touch is what you are.

Retaliation may be part of the rationalization for invading
Afghanistan but since Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 it doesn’t apply there. To the degree a president is responsible for terrorism they are all complicit, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II & Obama. But it’s ridiculous to lay it all on the current president. Was 9/11 entirely Bush’s fault because it happened on his watch? Of course not although the debacle in Iraq rests pretty
squarely on his and Cheney’s shoulders.

The traces of WMD that were found prove the invasion was justified. The military leaders at the time were the ones who convinced GW that we should attack. It’s the following policies of Obama that have caused Iraq to go down the tubes. Look at what’s happening and going to happen in Syria. Obama has backed those trying to remove Assad, now he’s going to throw his support behind him and throw our “allies” who were trying to do the overthrow under the bus. How will that help stabilize Syria?

I won’t defend Obama’s foreign policy moves. He has made
numerous blunders like his predecessors. It was obvious that would be the case when he retained many of the same buffoons that Bush and Clinton had in their administration But “traces of WMD”, you are stretching pretty far to justify an extremely bad
move by Bush. Military leaders were not advocating an invasion and Bush ignored their advice on how to proceed if we were to invade. Iraq was already down the tubes when Obama took office.

Okay, I assume you’re English so you are correct but Mexico never, to my knowledge invaded the USA.

Actually the southwestern territory was in dispute but had belonged to Mexico until our “Manifest destiny” told us it was really meant to be ours so we claimed it. You’re correct though, I should have specified that we have never been invaded in the 20th or 21st century. Even Pearl harbor was not an invasion since no “Japanese boots were on the ground”.

Now, you see the real effects of “excess.” The Donald, as we all have had the unfortunate experience to live in his NY/NJ Kingdom know his excesses, like all Conservatives comes from dehumanizing, predatory tactics to have the prettiest wives, the most money, the most real estate and now, the most power. You all expected less from a man who is insatiably greedy?

Make no mistake. The Donald will spend your tax dollars to force Muslim Americans who served honorably in the US military to leave. After all, isn’t that what all spoiled little Republican boys do to show how powerful they are?

Europeans are appalled that the Republican Party is now shaming this country around the world. All The Donald cares about is The Donald. Every word, every act of Trump’s must first benefit Trump. Tells you what kind of bully power he’d wield as president.

You’re wrong. The Donald will not be spending anyone’s tax money because The Donald has zero chance at winning the general election. And that is exactly why we should be rooting for him to win the GOP primary.

68K undocumented immigrants with criminal records released in 2013: report

          By Bob Fredericks

          March 31, 2014 | 10:12am

The Obama administration in 2013 released nearly 68,000 undocumented immigrants who had criminal records – many of them in New York and New Jersey, according to a new review of immigration data.

The shocking numbers came from a report released Monday by the Center for Immigration Studies, a conservative think tank that studies immigration patterns.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement data showed that New York’s ICE office released 5,391 – about 71 percent of the 7,571 criminal undocumented immigrants it encountered, a rate second only to San Antonio, which released 79 percent.

The Newark office came in fourth, releasing 2,149 about 60 percent of 3,581, right behind third-place Washington DC, which released 64 percent.

Nationally, the 67,879 criminals released represented about 35 percent of all undocumented immigrants with convictions ICE encountered, according to the report, titled “Catch and Release.”

Since June 2011, when the first of the administration’s “prosecutorial discretion” policies went into effect, ICE arrests have declined by 40 percent, the report said.

“These figures suggest that despite claims of a focus on public safety, the administration’s prosecutorial discretion criteria are allowing factors such as family relationships, political considerations, or attention from advocacy groups to trump criminal convictions as a factor leading to deportation,” said the report, written by CIS director of policy studies Jessica Vaughan.

An ICE spokeswoman defended the feds efforts to get undocumented criminals out of the country.

“ICE is focused on the removal of criminal aliens. In Fiscal Year 2013 the agency removed 216,000 convicted criminals. The percentage of criminals removed continues to rise,” said ICE rep Dani Bennett.

“Nearly 60 percent of ICE’s total removals had been previously convicted of a criminal offense, and that number rises to 82 percent for individuals removed from the interior of the US. The removal of criminal individuals is and will remain ICE’s highest priority.”

FALSE. Not that it matters as Obama is not running again but if he did he’d still win:

“President Obama’s approval rating has dropped back into negative territory in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, accompanying record-low ratings for dealing with terrorism following deadly attacks in Paris.
The poll finds 46 percent approve of Obama while 50 percent disapprove, a reversal from a 51-45 positive margin in October, which marked his best score in more than two years. The share of Americans who “strongly disapprove” of Obama is back up to 40 percent, the highest mark since December 2014.”

Devastating Video Explains How President Obama Is The False Messiah

April 23, 2015 by Justin Koski Comments (25)

This Youtube video has a chilling message of biblical proportions. It describes itself as “apocalyptic literature” written by a pastor’s wife in “biblical prose” for a commentary of current events. It was uploaded in 2013 but is ever more relevant in 2015.

The video commentator opens by saying:

And it came to pass in the age of insanity that the people of the land called America, having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as, The One.

He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but he hypnotized the people telling them, “I am sent to save you.”

“My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. I shall save you with hope and change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed.”

And the people rejoiced, for even thought they knew not what The One would do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed.

The video runs through much of what the Obama administration has done to “fundamentally change” America. It covers taxing of the rich and redistributing the wealth, marxist policies, approval of radical [Islamic] terrorism, the falling housing market, the disruption of the coal market and increasingly-expensive electricity, amnesty, mandated healthcare, and the destruction of businesses.

The video ends with the people becoming aware of what “The One” had done to their once-great nation. The “hope” and “change” he spoke of destroyed them and left their homeland in ruin.

You may think this is a fairy tale, but it’s not. It’s happening right now.

Has Obama corrupted our great nation? Is his fundamental change our destruction? Let us know what you think and spread this message to inform those who may be blinded to “The One.”

Input Info The black POTUS is a Charlatan

          By Matt Patterson

          (Newsweek Columnist – Opinion Writer)

          Watch False Messiah Video https://youtu.be/BNRT0P-oZfw

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional

accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world’s largest economy, direct the world’s most powerful military, execute the world’s most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama’s pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League, despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a “community organizer;” a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, less often did he vote “present”); and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator. And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama’s “spiritual mentor;” a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama’s colleague and political sponsor. It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president? There is no evidence that he ever attended or worked for any university or that he ever sat for the Illinois bar. We have no documentation for any of his claims. He may well be the greatest hoax in history.

Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberal Dom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were ‘a bit’ extreme, he was given a pass. Let that Sink in: Obama was given a pass – held to a lower standard because of the color of his skin.

Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) “non-threatening,” all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest? Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon – affirmative action. Not in the legal sense, of course.

But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves. Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back.

Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow. Liberals don’t care if these minority students fail; liberals aren’t around to witness the emotional

devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action. Yes, racist. Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin – that’s affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn’t racism, then nothing is.

And that is what America did to Obama.

True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois ; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama’s oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people – conservatives included – ought now to be deeply embarrassed. The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of

clichés, and that’s when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all. Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth – it’s all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years. (An example is his 2012 campaign speeches which are almost word for word his 2008 speeches) And what about his character?

Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerless-ness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. (The other day he actually came out and said no one could have done anything to get our economy and country back on track). But really, what were we to expect?

The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly? In short: our resident is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such an impostor in the Oval Office.

Your link does not work – typical for most lefty sites. Obama’s ranking among US presidents shows him at best at 15, but most rankings show him ranked in the high 30’s – like 36-38. He’s lumped with GW and Carter. If you think Europeans thought little of GW, with Obama ranked with GW, why would you think Europe would think Obama better? One recent ranking shows Obama at 43, but I don’t buy it. To be the worst would mean that Obama actually excelled at something.

Two of your links don’t work. The one that does contains MIXED ratings of Obama from mildly favorable to downright unfavorable. You apparently didn’t read your own source to the end. In Germany, the press openly mocks Obama. Just check out the parade floats that show Obama biting Hillary’s butt and being in bed with another man! China and Russia also ridicule Obama, but the US media blocks all the negative facts. If the media treated Obama liked they treated GW, Obama would have already resigned. Still, even with the media hiding Obama’s failures and playing up GW’s, their approval/disapproval ratings are comparable. Not a very good endorsement of Obama being well thought of. If you call providing information that supports my claim about what the world thinks is a “good deed”, then no wonder you’re so defensive about a president that’s ranked 34-43 out of US presidents.

All of the links work. Your inability to open them is not my problem.

            Your claim:

“Europeans are appalled by Obama’s lack of leadership and bowing to Muslim leaders. I spend much of my time outside the US and can tell you first hand that Europe thinks were nuts to have elected such an idiot and incompetent person not once, but twice”

The majority of European countries view him favorably.

“Western Europeans are still big Obama fans. Even as a presidential candidate, Obama was popular among Europeans, famously addressing a large crowd in Berlin in July 2008. When Obama entered the White House, his ratings were extremely high, and they’ve only slipped a little since then. At least a majority has confidence in him in each Western European country surveyed. Still, there is disappointment with Obama in the region on certain issues, such as climate change” (article from June 2015)

The charts in the links you claim you can’t open verify this so end of conversation.
You’re wrong, you can’t back up your babble and when someone shows you facts refuting your opinions, you can’t admit your wrong.

Go do some research, you’re also wrong about President Obama’s current ranking among the other presidents. Not to mention he is still in office and has not yet completed all he will have accomplished when he leaves office.

Don’t expect a further response on this issue.

The Donald really doesn’t think he’s going to win this election and if he should, I think it would be a shock to him and one for which he is totally unprepared. His whole campaign is a travesty.

On one hand I’m very afraid what Trump is saying will bring harm to innocents. The entire world is watching this and he brings shame to America as many people can’t differentiate between this ugly American and the rest of us. So here at home Muslim are at risk from home grown crazies and Americans are at greater risk elsewhere .
That being said, he is forcing every other candidate to state their position. Since he’s running to win and relying on the extreme segment of the population to get him nominated, his strategy is genius by just saying out loud what many of them think. This move separated the rational from the irrational at least on this issue.

Or perhaps damaging this country, and the people that are following him are too stupid to realize how truly unAmerican they have become. When Trump wants to return American to the way it used to be, he is referring to the Robber Baron era with debtors prisons, no employee rights or safety, no government safety net, no consumer or environmental safeties. The only people that will have true rights will be white Christian males, preferably those born from “the right people”.

That’s what the Kock Bros of the world want. They aspire to be the modern day Carnegie and Rockefeller. People need to hear the term robber baron more often because we have large swaths of the population uneducated as to what that era was truly like. They have no idea how badly they are screwing the working class by voting for these policies. You’re absolutely right about all of this, especially the white Christian male ruling class.

You’re wrong about Trump though. He is in it to save us from all of that by exposing and destroying the people who want to inflict that damage onto society. History will praise him once this is all said and done.

It’s both fascinating and tragic to see how the Conservatives are so eager to paint themselves into a corner with know way out except to further sully themselves.
The real tragedy is that the GOP has helped spawn monsters from the Nixon era up to the present and have no way to control the “Frankensteins” its nihilistic policies have created.
On top of that, the vast majority on the Right don’t have the perception to see, nor capacity to comprehend, the “cesspool” they wade in—like Mastadons trapped in tar pits

Speaking of Nixon, it was his Southern Strategy that started all of this. They exchanged short term gains for long term viability. Make no mistake, it’s a strategy that worked well for decades but it is also the same reason they are facing implosion now.

America, Europe, Israel, and even European Russia is at war with radical Islam. France is currently raiding Mosques, Belgium is raiding homes seeking ISIS terrorists. Now we find out the mother of the San Bernardino terrorist has a Certificate of Appreciation from the Islamic Circle of North America, (ICNA). $28,000 was secretly put into the terrorist’s account. So it’s entirely prudent to “temporarily” ban Muslims until like Trump said, “our Government can let us know what the hell is going on.” There will be more carnage & can any of these political criticizers GUARANTEE our security?

I don’t object to gun ownership. I have one in my home
though I don’t feel any need to arm myself to leave my home. If we had strictly enforced laws regarding purchase that were the same across the entire country and enforcement with harsh penalties for unlawful use it would improve the situation.

Banning guns is a moot point in our country. There are far
too many already out there for that to be a viable pursuit. I’ve never purchased a gun but I own 3 that have been passed on to me. We also need to abolish the absurd “stand your ground” laws. Insults to one’s ego are not sufficient cause to shoot somebody, only threat of bodily harm justifies using a gun against another human being.

    Mass removal of U.S.

“He has an inordinate desire to collect non sequiturs, carefully collate them, and present them as evidence that he’s a busy beaver who has only one talent.

“That must be his reason for living—the only thing from which he derives satisfaction. Probably is out of work and therefore has lots of time to dredge for useless information. What a pathetic bit of space debris”—Obiwan.

PLEASE, CEASE AND DESIST FROM DISPLAYING IGNORANCE.

YOU TOUT YOURSELF AS AN ERUDITE AND WORLD TRAVELER…..NOT AS A SEDATE PLODDING MINDSET.
TRY TO DISCERN INFO POSTED AS VERITAS.
“There are two different types of people in the world, those who want to know, and those who want to believe.” Nietzsche

        HENCE……
WE could go nuts on U for your uneducated, silly, stupid, foolish, fatuous, idiotic, ridiculous, ludicrous, absurd, senseless, asinine, frivolous, vapid, childish, puerile, dumb, moronic, ditzy and daft posted comments on a public forum…but we won’t…..instead we will attempt to clarify same for you, in that, you are categorically lost in the weeds of confusion…again.

We are a messenger…not the message..

We strive to illuminate the 47 % ignorant (uniformed) low info people (like U) to elucidate the subject regarding the very dysfunctional political atmosphere of chaos that the USA is experiencing with this current OBAMA administration for cause.
Google what’s posted it’s accurate; no spin doctor treatment or prevarications like Obama or the leftist liberal Democrats.
        Truth will always prevail…Veritas.
