Berlin (AFP) – Germany said Wednesday any arms trading with Moscow was currently “indefensible” as it halted a major deal to provide a fully equipped training camp to Russian forces.

Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel announced the suspension of the Rheinmetall project as Moscow tightened its grip on the flashpoint Crimean peninsula.

Ex-Press Secretary Says Trump Held Secret WH Meetings Days Before Capitol Attack

According to a report from The Guardian published Thursday, former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham has revealed to investigators on the Jan. 6 Committee that Trump held “secret meetings” at the White House residence in the run-up to the Capitol attack.

The committee has not formally subpoenaed Grisham, indicating that her cooperation was voluntary. She had front row seats at the Trump White House while serving as a White House communications director, press secretary for former First Lady Melania Trump, and later, Melania Trump’s chief of staff. Grisham resigned, effective immediately, on Jan. 6 in the wake of the violent Capitol assault. Her resignation was joined by White House press aide Sarah Matthews.

Mitch McConnell Poses In Front Of A Confederate Flag

While Americans were attuned to the Senate's seemingly doomed voting right's bill--failing to advance in a 48-52 vote due to fake Democrats Sinema and Manchin--Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell delivered a speech reminiscent of George Wallace in the old segregated south when he essentially deemed African-American voters as not "real" Americans.

In a video that has since gone viral, McConnell addresses the press about the voting rights bill, calling the “concern” about minority voters having less access to the ballot box “misplaced.”
