It seems increasingly, frighteningly possible that the U.S. presidential election may very well be influenced by Russian president Vladimir Putin. Were a Democratic politician embroiled in this mess, Trumpites would be lobbing accusations of treason with gusto.
This was a heck of a time for a handful of acolytes to grab at Bernie Sanders’ spotlight, some parroting the imbecilities of the Trump campaign. To borrow from Dante’s “Inferno,” one should not reflect on such people but take a look and pass them by.
The request comes on the heels of numerous revelations of possible Russian influences on Trump’s campaign, including on his campaign manager, Paul Manafort, who previously advised now-deposed pro-Putin Ukranian leader Victor Yanukovych.
